This is such a LOVELY DQ. In keeping with the brand, it's in a small town. There is ample parking and a working drive-thru. The bathrooms require a lock code. The dining area is clean and decorated seasonally. I was on crutches when I dined here and the floors in the hallway on the way to the bathroom were so slick my crutches couldn't grab the floor (minus one star for safety!). It would be nice if they could make the 2nd stall bathroom a smidge bigger so my knees (and the knees of others) are not pressed against the door but the bathroom was well stocked and tidy. The order takers worked quickly, eliminating the line so we hardly waited inside at all. They answered menu questions efficiently and other team members backed them up to prepare our order as it was placed. We got our order to go -we ordered two cheeseburger meals with small blizzards. The blizzards were done well before the food. But sadly, our cheeseburgers were cool and the fries were warm at best (minus another star!). As my husband stated, "the burgers were underwhelming." There is nice outdoor seating here which was a nice bonus. There is also many driveways into the restaurant, making it easy access. read more

We have been searching all week for a Dairy Queen open driving back from hiking day trips. We finally found one with a very nice staff and lots of flavors! We came 10 minutes before closing time and honestly would've thought that they were already closing their machines early but the nice employee with glasses overheard our talk about blizzards and turned on the machine for us. She said she didn't mind and loved making them too. Such a fun experience especially since my dad loved Dairy Queen and has been searching for one for the past week for us to enjoy. Thank you! Nothing like being a fellow business owner and having them over charge you three dollars and then short you two chicken strips and forget your gravy. I want to give dad a good review because they are all working hard but every time I go here I get shorted food. Makes me wonder why the parking lot is full. This dairy queen compared to others seriously lacks in the service and quality. Every single time my family and I get ice cream it's melted before we even leave the parking lot from the drive through dripping all over. Instead of putting our napkins, utensils, sauces, and whatever else in a bag they hand us everything separately and scattered. Sometimes the drive through attendant can be friendly, sometimes not so much. After going here many many times we've basically decided they lost our business. We just stop in pleasant hill for DQ these days, quality and service is better. read more

Bummed out today. You know when your taste buds are set in anticipation of a favorite? Not good when what you ordered wasn't delivered and instead you get something you're not crazy about. We were traveling back down the mountain and were really hungry. We stopped in and ordered our food. After about 20 minutes, I went to check the status of our food and the manager informed me that our order had been lost inadvertently. They had been crazy busy and he apologized for the mistake. He immediately offered to refund the full amount of our meal AND make us a new order without question. We quickly received our food and scarfed it down. The food was...well...DQ, but it was hot and fresh and hit the spot. Huge props to the manager for owning the mistake and taking care of us. So, every now and then I'm just too lazy to cook... and because DQ is convenient and close, I go there... I'm a drive through customer. The food isn't the best in town, but like I said, it's close. What bugs me about this particular DQ is this... they do NOT provide napkins or sauce with your meal unless you ask. Occasionally I get the rare employee who asks if I "want sauce with that"... but it's rare. Also, guaranteed, if it's 100 degrees they always give out the melting deserts before the hot meals which do seem to take a really long time to deliver. So, what starts out as a lazy girls splurge turns into a sticky mess... and NO napkins to wipe up! I was done, just done. Then tonight, I just couldn't face cooking... and, per usual, no napkins and ice cream before the hot meal that wasn't all that worth the wait. Next time, I'll go the extra 2 blocks to A&W. read more

We were passing through Oakridge OR on our way to Seattle and I must say we went to the best Dairy Queen ever here in town! The manager and employees are so nice, friendly and professional and their food is fresh and piping hot! They gave our dog the cutest little ice cream cone I'd ever seen, she loved it! OMG. Total chaos with the staff. We sat there and listened as they made orders two times. Calling the numbers out for customers who already received their orders. One person in our group never got her order. She had the receipt with the order number. They took forever to find her number when we asked for a refund. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, no pickles. extra lettuce and extra onions. What I got was a bacon cheeseburger, extra lettuce, extra onion and PICKLES. Someone had clearly written on the wrapper, "NO PICKLES" yet I got pickles. Sooooo, I took it back to the counter and said "I asked for no pickles and there are pickles on it." Also took back some cold fries. When I got my burger back it looked ok but it didn't have mayo on it. So the lady went to get some mayo then I took a better look and saw that I got the SAME BURGER back just with a new top and less lettuce. And there was a pickle inside the wrapper. I know I got the SAME BURGER because I broke an onion in little pieces and put therm inside the burger aaaannnddd...there they were, just where I put them. So the lady apologized and said that she would get me another burger and refund my money for the burger. Which she did. Oh, we did get hot fries. read more

I've stopped here twice driving through. Service is slow and nothing has come out even close to good. There are a few local gems in Oakridge that are comparable in price but far superior in service and flavor! Definitely avoid this DQ. read more
