The drive thru took forever. Ok, not quite forever. It took 23 minutes with no car in front of us on a weeknight at 6:30 pm to get 6 tacos and chips n cheese. None of which were special order. However, today since the drive-thru line was crazy at 130pm I went inside to order...thinking it would be faster. Zero staff to take orders and signage asking customers to place orders at the kiosks. It appeared there were only two people to be working. One taking drive-thru orders and one preparing food. I felt incredibly bad for an elderly couple who were trying to use the kiosk and waited at the counter for assistance and never receive any. They unfortunately left before I could offer to help. Late evening dinner on my way home from work. Went through Taco Bell drive thru. I couldn't hear the first gal through the intercom. Very light spoken. She was very nice however. Great service from the employees with good energy and urgency. It wasn't busy so I got through the line pretty quickly. This atmosphere at this location appeared very clean. My disappointment was when I got home after two minutes and my soft tacos were cold. At least the tortillas were. It was as though they just took them out of the refrigerator. Well, that was a one and done. Ordered off the breakfast menu using the app. Not bad, fairly easy to do. I selected drive through. Got to the ordering station and gave my name, and my order details came up. So far, so good. Then, it went downhill. Got to the pickup window and was handed iced coffees. I had ordered hot. No biggie, easy to fix. I'm handed new drinks, shortly after that the rest of the order. I head back to the office. I hand my wife her stuff, and get my own. First thing I do is take off the lid. I do that because I want my coffee to cool down. That was not needed in this case. The coffee was barley above room temperature. What. The... I won't finish because children might read this. I'm not going back. We have a microwave. The bitterness of the coffee matched my feelings for this location. The food, meh. A solid 2/3. Best I can say is I wasn't hungry afterwards. Things that were wrong with my order/experience: - My grilled cheese burrito contained no black beans (I swapped beef for black beans when ordering) and had no grilled cheese on the outside - My cinnamon twists were forgotten from the order - Requested sauces were forgotten from the order - I got chips and cheese as a side. I kid you not the container of cheese was practically empty - No utensils were included - The order took 15 minutes longer than stated in the app ETA - The bathrooms are FILTHY (from separate experience this same week when I actually went inside to fix order issues) That being said, the coworkers were kind and helpful. Update: I don't know if enough people complained or if it's coincidence, or what, but after I posted my review service got significantly better. (You'd think I'd stop going here after rating it 2 stars, but , common - it's Taco Bell. Even when it's bad, it's good). Anyway, the chips and twists have been a full portion, order pickup has been speedy, and they've gotten my order right. I upgraded from 2 to 4 stars because it appears they listened and are trying to do better. If it stays consistent, I'll up it to a 5. Original review: This location has gone downhill. They get my order wrong at least 75% of the time, the drive-through moves at a snail's pace, and forget about ordering inside the store - it takes as long as a sit down restaurant to get your food. Tonight I ordered online, as ASAP, and it took 35 minutes to get my food. After 25 minutes, and then providing food to the 3 people who came in after me (I know they ordered after me as I saw them ordering on the screen) I inquired as to what was taking so long and the response I got was "we'll make that now'." NOW you'll make it?? What were they doing for the last 25 minutes?? It took another 10 minutes to actually get my food, and they still got it wrong! (and I was charged extra for the wrong order! Lol!). Addition, This location consistently gives tiny portions. Every single time I order the plain chips and cheese nachos they put literally 5-6 chips in the bag (half the time they put only 3-4) and instead of using the larger of the sauce cups, they use the teeny tiny one that is not even 1" deep and they only fill ithalf full. Same thing with the cinnamon twists - If I'm lucky I'll get about 5 twists in a bag. I've been to other locations where they filled the bag full (which is what they're supposed to do). And when I tell them and ask for a full serving, I am given another tiny bag with just a few chips or twists - lol. If this only happened occasionally, or if they actually gave me a bag with a full serving when I complain, I'd just assume it's staff being lazy, but since it happens every. single. time., I can only assume it is leadership telling them to do this. read more

I know these things can sometimes happen anywhere, but for whatever reason I'm consistently having problems here. This is probably the 6th or 7th time in a row where something with my order is incorrect. This time, I asked for two fresco style tacos and I ended up getting two chicken tacos with cheese. Food was fine but the service was horrendous. Why was I able to select order for pickup on the app if the inside closes??? I saw my food on the pickup shelf. I tried one entrance-- locked. Tried the other, it was locked as well. NO SIGNS SAYING THEY WERE CLOSED INSIDE. When I was in the drive thru, I saw another customer trying to open the locked doors. 1. Remove feature to order for pickup on the app if you're not gonna allow for pick up. 2. If for some reason you can't achieve #1, have signs to indicate the doors are closed, and to instead go through the drive thru for pickup orders. Which btw is already an inconvenience because now we have to get back in our cars and sit in the drive thru line-- we ordered for pickup to avoid this exact thing. 3. So I was pretty surprised when I visited this Taco Bell (in El Dorado Hills) for lunch after visiting a client. The place was clean, and the people were friendly, but there was a HORRIBLE bathroom smell that hit me when I walked in. I chalked it up to bad timing, but when I went back two weeks later, it was the exact same smell inside. I don't know how they're doing their cleaning, but it's not working. My last four orders have been wrong at this location. Two weeks ago, I ordered the new cheesy Street tacos which are offered with beef or chicken. We don't eat beef, so I am very specific when saying 'chicken'. I pulled out of the drive-thru and parked to eat in the car, I quickly noticed they had given me beef. The drive thru was backed up and super slow so I went inside to have it remade. To my shock there were already about five other customers with wrong orders trying to get them replaced! One was a family coming down from Tahoe that wanted to grab something quickly and had been waiting 40 minutes for their order to be corrected. 40 minutes!Another girl had a pick up order that I saw her retrieve and left with, only to return about 10 minutes later because it was incorrect, 10 minutes after that she came back with her mother because the order was still incorrect! As I waited the 30 minutes for my 1 item to be remade with chicken, people poured in the drive-through with incorrect orders. After 30 minutes, I got my one item and I went to my car, starving, I noticed that the amount of shredded chicken in the cheesy street tacos is very, very little, perhaps a table spoon between both tacos. Each bite is primarily sauce and onions. Tonight, my Son asked me to pick him up a burrito at this location on my way home. A chicken grilled cheese burrito. In the drive thru I was VERY specific to say it was chicken and we do not eat beef. I even repeated it to be sure they got it right. I came home gave my son the burrito, after 2 bites he said 'Mom, I think they put beef in my burrito'!! In fact it was a fully beef burrito. I called the store and spoke to the manager 'Jesse' who was very nice. I told him my last four orders at this location was incorrect and that my son was recovering from surgery and I would have to drive back to the store at 11 o'clock at night to have this remade. I also explained that my son had eaten three bites of the burrito containing beef, which we don't eat as my son has had open-heart surgery. It is imperative that they get orders, right especially when it comes to meat products. Jesse was very nice, polite and said he would supervise the remake. I drove back and headed to the drive thru. It was the same girl who took the order last time and I told her I spoke to Jesse and was coming back to have a burrito remade. I said it's specifically needed to be with chicken and that we don't eat beef. She then gave me my total?! so I reminded her that I was not paying, and that this was a remake. She had an huge attitude and kept saying 'yep! Yep! Head to the window'... At the window, I listened very closely to the employees talking and heard Jesse telling them it had to be with chicken. I appreciate that he supervised it being made like he said he would. The girl with the attitude stood at the window and bagged the burrito, when she handed it to me, I confirmed again that this was the chicken grilled cheese burrito and she rudely said 'yup there's 2 in there in case you want to eat one!' And then she quickly walked off. (WTF?!) she was such a Bit$&! Thankfully, the manager Jesse came to the window and was polite and apologized again. He confirmed he had a second burrito made and I thanked him for that gesture. I again said my son is recovering from surgery and mentioned he would be happy to have the second one for lunch tomorrow. Moving forward, I'll be driving down to the iron point Taco Bell in Folsom. I really hope the EDH location can be turned around. read more

We ordered through Doordash so I'll just go through everything that went wrong. - Ordered a Cheesy Gordita Crunch with beans instead of beef and extra sauce. Instead we got a CGC with beef and no sauce. -Ordered a regular crunchy taco. Instead we got a Crunchy Taco with the beans and sauce we ordered for the CGC. Those were for two different people so neither of them got what they wanted. -Ordered a regular Pepsi and got Diet Pepsi. - This one is the best one. Ordered a bean and cheese burrito. No sauce. Just beans and cheese. Instead I got a tortilla with maybe a teaspoon of beans and a chopsticks worth of cheese. Laughably bad. I'm just in genuine shock that people could care so little!
