Decent customer service, but expect diarrhea. This happened a couple weeks ago. We were in a rush but there was a father and son at the cash register for 10 minutes, communicating to another person on the phone. It was very irritating, but diarrhea is unacceptable. This means that the employees aren't refrigerating correctly or things aren't clean. I ordered a turkey sandwich toasted on white bread with shredded cheese and olives. Subways are really weird to me. Some are awful, some are okay, and one magical one off E. Bidwell in the Best Buy parking lot is the best of them all. This location falls under "awful." The service was...weird. Incredibly slow, sloppy, and forgetful for being one of 2 customers, the other being my husband. The sandwich artist shoved both our sandwiches in the toaster, so neither of the sandwiches had fully melted cheese, and he refused to use the toasting tray thereafter, which resulted in his awkward struggle of moving two subs by their wax papers onto the counter. When I began to tell him what veggies I wanted on my sandwich, he started to dress my husband's...I'd understand if they were slammed or if we had multiple orders, but 2 sandwiches and your only customers? The best part is when he finished with the veggies for both, he just walked off into the back with some soups that were on the counter, then eventually told the other sandwich artist working to ring us up. I give 2 stars because they have Icees and gourmet pretzels. And even then they didn't offer us a straw for the Icee. Strangely, we were told not to sit on one half of the restaurant as it was closed up. This all occurred at barely 8PM, so surely this wasn't their closing time. read more

This subway was just opened when the did a Wal Mart remodel. While I love that Wal Mart is moving to Subways instead of McDonalds in their stores I must say the owner of this subway franchise needs to do a much better hiring job. The three girls working were very unprofessional and their work station was messy. Two of them spoken Russian the entire time to each other laughing as they chatted while making sandwiches which made the three people, including myself, in line uncomfortable. The only time they even looked up at the customer and spoke English was to ask if we wanted veggies and all of that stuff. I am all for individuality and being proud of ones heritage...but in a store that is probably 99% English speaking customers you should not be chatting in another language because it makes customers uneasy and will make someone assume you are talking bad about them. The location looks nice from the outside but the employees did a terrible job keeping their area clean and the store was not even that busy to warrant a messy area. I am scared to think of what this subway will look like in 6mths. I will stick with the subway on Blue Ravine in the Raley's shopping center. The employees are always clean and professional, the location is spotless and the owner is often there and truly cares about his business. read more

for a being an instore the service isnt bad. there is plenty of seating. prices it doesnt seem different from other subways. usually with instore branches they have different prices or a more limited menu, but it seems to have everything any other subway has. that being said, I hate sandwiches and the only thing I can tolerate getting is the meatball sub. read more
