I hate that this place is so close to my house. I hate that this place is literally on the way home. I hate that I can't cook. I hate that my gringo a** is so allured by Taco Bell lol. Look, we all know this is the epitome of "Fast Food". There's zero nutritional value here. It's not even real Mexican food, which makes me swinging by when I live in El Paso, even more of a cuisine sin. But, luckily I'm as gringo as they come, so I think I get a bye lol. So when o cruise through the drive thru, and people judgingly look in the car and see an old blue eyed dude, they're like "ahhhh ok. Makes sense" lol I can probably eat just about anything ok this entire menu. But my favorites are the Chicken Chalupa, the "Loaded Griller", and then regular old soft tacos with that runny, mushy beef substitute and sour cream and cheese. And don't forget the Hot Sauce. Even though they have silly phrases and stuff on the packages, which make me feel extra stupid after I read them, still, I can't help it - I guess I should just admit it - I'm in love with Taco Bell. Like it's so hard to even right this review, because the food is literally junk, but it's soooooo good. Nothing will satisfy a craving or hit the spot like Taco Bell will. So delicious, so affordable, so on the way home from work. I mean think about that, can anyone really go home from work and NOT semi pass a Taco Bell? I never dine-in though. It's always a to-go thing. My guilty pleasure. My shame. Oh, and now most locations serve breakfast too! So, if you're a fast food on the way to work breakfast eater - here ya go! This was the worst experience of my life I got 4 tacos from this location and a few hours later I had food poisoning I had a fever I had to use the restroom every 10-15 minutes absolutely horrible stomach pain sweats and chills I don't recommend this place save yourself a horrible 2 days of pain and no stop having to go to the restroom! read more

Had a craving for caramel empanadas, and cinnamon twists so I used the drive thru to order. They no longer carry the caramel empanadas so I orders the new cinnamon delights. Good costumer service, and as a fast food restaurant I got my order quickly. I was sad to discover the cinnamon twists tasted old and were not warmed. The cinnamon delights were warm but made me sick. It is what it is. I don't think I'll ever come back for that type of craving. :( read more

Was forced to use the Kiosk....which is a haven for germs!!! I've never seen them clean that thing after each customer. Customers such as myself that are a germaphobe should not be forced to use the Kiosk!! Also, what happened to the 1 1/2 ounce of beef that is suppose to be in the tacos? It wasn't even close to that required amount in either of my tacos. I was reminded of the old Wendy's commercial....."Where's the beef??" It was NOT in my tacos that's for sure!!! read more

This Taco Bell never let me down all the late night cravings I had and wanted a place still open. I haven't had a problem with parts of my order missing or being forgotten. This was always a cheap place to get my fix for cheap food. More often than not I would get the $5 box because it came with a drink. I'd upgrade the medium drink to the large for only $0.10 extra. Worth it since they can be pricey on their own. I know TB did revamp the menu some months ago so a lot was removed. Just good ol fast food read more

Taco Bell is my favorite late night munchie spot. This was my first time inside in a while and they completely redecorated. In the corner, they actually have lounge chairs and a mini table, very casual and cool. If they have WiFi (which I'm not 100% sure on) it'd be nice to go study. read more

I've visited this place quite a lot in the past, customer service is average, once they finally acknowledge you in the restaurant. Just remember if you want to order something basic, like with no sour cream or tomatoes, don't tell them you want it regular. I told them regular crunch wrap, no sour cream, took a huge bite and has tons of sour cream! Took it to the counter and she said regular means supreme?? Really? Does that make sense? Either way, this happened twice in two different locations, even when I confirm the order, it still comes out wrong for some reason. I mean how hard is it? The only other complaint is how they now have the $5 boxes with only like 3 items. Used to have 5! The food is something left to be desired. I don't see myself going here anymore. read more

It's very hard for me to tell if my tastes have changed since being a child or all of the EP Taco Bell's suck now. Although I know the former is true, I also believe the latter. Maybe it's something in the water. When I think of Taco Bell I have these vivid memories of a seven-year-old me in Virginia eating these tiny soft tacos with a good amount of taco bell seasoned meat, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, maybe sour cream, and lots of Mild Taco Bell sauce. I can taste how truly good this little thing was. I can even remember the Taco Bell Lunchables...gawd were those so delicious! And now every six months I have a hankering for the deliciousness that I can still imagine and I drive up to this Taco Bell and am left completely disappointed. First of all, I think we should actually teach these kids a thing or two about cooking. It all tastes like plastic so I load it up with Fire sauce and just try to burn my mouth to the point that it may actually enjoy what I'm consuming. In the past two weeks I've ordered the AM Crunch Wrap and the Quesarito, both of which were eventually given to my dogs. Taco Bell, can you stop making things with eggs in it? The eggs taste artificial. Where does one find artificial eggs? I suspect they may be using bottled eggs of sorts mixed with a large amount of water. It's off-putting to say the least. The AM Crunch Wrap was kind of okay, but the eggs just gave it an awful taste that I couldn't get past. The Quesarito was a cheesy mess. I firmly believe you can never have too much cheese or bacon, but this thing was something else. I don't know that I could call what I found on the inside cheese...watery cheese is not cheese. I don't find the soft tacos at this location enjoyable at all. It's a good day if I can get more than three slivers of cheese on a taco. Ugh. It's just not what it used to be or what it could be. It's fast food, but it could taste better. And don't get me started on the Nachos now. The one good thing that I can say about this particular TB is the staff is fast and once in a while I get a cashier that's rather funny (when I saw a Sangarita on the menu I had to ask if it actually had alcohol to which the cashier replied, "I wish!"). On the past two occasions I've been at this TB, I've had to repeat everything at least twice at the drive-thru so I think they may have an issue with the speaker or the headset. I don't know. I keep coming back hoping for something better, but I think this TB needs to go back to the basics. Master the basics and then we'll start throwing crazy nonsensical things like AM Crunch Wraps on the menu. read more

It was a 3-day weekend which I fully intended to make the most out of, and it meant eating at this fine restaurant. The weather had been improving from wind, rain, and snow (at the pass), so my 17mile/27km pedal from the Eastside to Northeast El Paso was actually fairly pleasant albeit longer clockwise due to my advancing age. Anyway, food/energy was on my mind, and Taco Bell was prominent in my thinking. It was lunchtime when I cycled off the frontage road, initially stopping at a highly-reputed coffee shop but leaving when seeing the foodstuffs available. While I knew coffee/caffeine was essential, high protein/energy food would be required and what better place than this Taco Bell to meet my needs? Also significant in my choice of this fine eatery was its location: adjacent to the multi-modal Trans-Mountain/Loop 375 road. I was going to be Westbound on the wide, bike-lane marked shoulders, steadily ascending several miles/kilometres to the pass, before descending a similar distance. This is one of the excellent marked bike routes in El Paso, surrounded by desert, canyon, and crossing the Franklin Mountains. It is also completely bereft of ANY services, particularly food & water, which are needed ingredients for this journey (as well as all cycling events). It was a no-brainer; Taco Bell was by far the best choice to help me get over the top. Never having been here before, I was ecstatic to find that not only was the coffee perfect, but the chicken bowl promised ample energy for my forthcoming climb. Exhaustion and age kept my movement slow; the very capable & competent Taco Bell employees brought my "order in" power menu bowl and put my power menu burrito order "to go" on delay until I was almost ready to pedal away. It was an immensely satisfying meal, and I felt ready to go. They quickly brought out the well-wrapped burrito, and I was off. Regardless of how well I felt upon exiting this excellent eatery, all of that feeling and ample energy quickly evaporated as the 8% grade. I was barely able push the pedals, not so much because of the steepness, but because of the phenomenal headwind streaming through the pass onto the lee, right onto me. I could move several feet/meters, then, breathing hard, had to stop, After rounding one switchback, the pedaling immediately became easier--that headwind had become a tailwind; such a relief! Until I rounded the next switchback--and the headwind returned, this time with a much stronger gale. By the time I'd reached the first crossover, which was my first opportunity to turn around, my body knew it could not continue. The magnificent Magura hydraulic brakes on my Doublevision agree--they could not hold the bike either. Somehow I managed to get across both motor vehicle lanes and into the left-turn lane, where my greatest challenge was now to cross two more lanes before getting into the overlook point. Stopping in the parking lot, closing my eyes and panting, I considered my options; camp here--I did have my power burrito, along with emergency food--or pedal back home. It was really too early for me to knock off[, and if I did so that early, my superb Taco Bell power burrito wouldn't last that long. Doubtlessly, I'd be worn out before reaching the pass; could I make it? Returning home was by far my best choice, and I began my coast downhill. I could not believe the positive sign as my Doublevision began moving. An intense rainbow appeared on the near horizon. The kettle of gold was waiting for me and it seemed to be centered over my home! With all forces now with me, I made reasonably quick time on the reverse trip, and the tasty Taco Bell power burrito became a future meal. Omg I can't even tell you how many times they've gotten out order wrong and I've had to go back. The last time, there was cardboard in my taco. Literally a piece of box and I wound up eating a bit. The rice is always undercooked to the point of being inedible, the tomatos had black spots and they've given me diet soda (which I hate) countless times. Normally I love this Taco Bell especially through Grubhub. But tonight I planned to eat my weight in nachos because my mother is in icu with 5% to live. I definitely needed something to help me through this rough time but this is the worst order I have ever gotten. If you crave cheap kinda-mexican food, then look no further. If you are drunk and need something super greasy to sober up quick, look no further. If you need a cheap colon cleanser, look no further. Whenever they fuck up your food they talk shit about you while they're remaking it and talk amongst themselves telling each other you're wrong when your order was right on the screen and they clarified with you it was correct and then they just suddenly don't know how to read. The words bacon, and sausage are very different within my vocabulary, not sure how other people can hear something so blatantly different. Very annoying and is gonna get someone hurt or fired if they keep talking shit while people can hear them. If you wanna act like you're right, cool buddy, but try taking that shit talk home and not in the workplace. This place can burn up. read more
