When I arrived I was unsure of the location for it was only a parking lot of a former night club but shortly a beautiful black truck arrived pulling the food truck. 4Tacos 4Tacos 4Tacos offers Potato Tacos (Tacos de Papa) Their famous Birria Tacos and Quesadillas. I ordered them all and LOVED them. My mouth still waters as I write this review. Very Nice Costumer Service and attentive. Social Distance is enforced so they bring your order to your vehicle once it is ready. Have I mentioned their food is MEGA AFFORDABLE!!! Ample Parking lot. The only thing is .. Look. Those of you who follow my incessant rants already know how I feel about this place. So, this one's gonna be one of my shorter reviews. In case you weren't already aware, 4tacos [times très] is the shit! What I mean is...they're so good, like..I was willing to drive through 8 miles of construction type good. This dude (sorry, man...I'm terrible with names) is wicked friendly AND chatty, but in an inviting way. I was pleased to see that he had an extra pair of hands to help him out this time, because he works his tail off to crank out these machinations of Mexican magnificence! He never hesitates to put extra meat in these things if he feels even slightly delayed past the ETA. I didn't really mind waiting though, considering I'd probably sell my left kidney (possibly even my soul) for 4 of these savory samples of sustenance in a tortilla shell (Golly, I am KILLIN' it with the alliterations today!). Point is, I can't really say enough great things about this quaint little food truck to do it justice. They're more than decently priced, the quality control is beyond excellent, PLUS....they have a hilarious sign out front letting customers know how they can pay. One of my biggest criteria for whether or not I like a place is how good their customer service is. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. The owner and employee were very friendly, polite, respectful, and huge hearts. Now about the food. The food was so good! My wife is a measuring stick and so if she likes it, I know it's good. I will definitely be coming back again. The potato tacos were on the mark, with just the slights but if ground beef in them, the flavor was on point. I took the owners advice and ate them up in the car quick before they got soggy from the toppings (see pic). I took four more home but with everything on the side. The birria tacos were also a hit. Packed full of meat and cheese, I enjoyed the fact that I got to dip them in the consume myself rather than have them soaked, soggy, and falling apart. What a fun local joint! For some tasty cheap tacos, with the bonus of supporting local business, this place is a win. Location: Its a food truck so it may move. When I went there it was in a parking lot that wasn't super lit, so keep your eyes peeled for it. There is no seating so plan on bringing the food back to your car. Food: I got the Potato/Ground Beef tacos, and the Birria Tacos x4 w/ consume cup. The portions were good and I really enjoyed the taste of both but I may prefer the potato one more. The cook told me that the potato one might get a little soggy if I took it home but after a 30 min drive home it tasted just fine. The Birria Tacos were delicious in the dipping cup they give me, and I sprung for the extra meat ($2) which I think was well worth it. My recommendation is that either taco is a great choice but ask for extra green chili salsa, because it is never enough! Service: Honestly the wait time was a bit long but the guys were super apologetic and really nice. It was super cold that night so they had me wait in my car and actually came out of the truck to flag me down to tell me it was ready. If that wasn't enough, they also told me about their charity work for people going hungry in EP. Plus they also had some fun Baby Yoda taco memes on their FB which is a huge plus in my book. TLDR: Great portions, great food, really nice above and beyond service, and a local business. Today we decided to try out 4Tacos 4Tacos 4Tacos since it was part of the Yelp event and I am so glad that we decided to drive all the way from the westside! When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner and his helper! They were great! We ordered 2 orders of the birria tacos and 2 orders of the ground beef/potato tacos plus 2 Mexican cokes to drink! So here are the thoughts from my family: Mom (Beef/Potato): She absolutely loved them! She said they brought back memories as her mom used to make them for her as a kid and that these are even better than her moms and that's definitely saying something! She wants to go back and try more! Dad (Birria): His exact words were...they are delicious as he took the last bite of his taco. He ate them so quick and wanted more. This place may be a sitting in plain sight - hidden gem! The Birria tacos made the trip home in perfect fashion and were delicious! Admittedly, I've never had Birria Tacos before but I'm not upset that these are the standard I will compare all others too. We got the Birria tacos and potato tacos as part of a Yelp elite event and they were so tasty. I'm getting pretty old and I am now wondering how I've lived this long without eating potato tacos. They are simply delicious. I would also highly recommend the Birria tacos. These are not your run of the mill taco. The meat was very tender and the seasoning was so flavorful. This place was outstanding! Not only were the people nice, they wanted to know where we were from, got to know us a little bit and really thanked us for our business. The birria tacos were fantastic and the consume to dip them in was just what was needed on a cold night. It was the perfect Ambience for such tacos. We ate them in the car in the parking lot and one of the employees came knocking on the car window to give us complimentary nachos because they wanted to make sure folks traveling through the area were treated with the utmost hospitality. OK everyone I'm updating my review since my last visit in November. I've been back to 4tacos since then. I can now say that I've tried all of their tacos. I have not had their quesadillas but that's quite alright. I'm ready to update this review. I'm going to write about all of the tacos. Although a lot of people rave about the potato tacos, my favorite are the birria. Don't get me wrong, the potato tacos are amazing too but the birria tacos are where it's at for me. The birria is so flavorful combined with the muenster cheese. The tortillas are always fresh tasting too. The salsa isn't that spicy but the flavor still meshes well with the birria and queso. The consome is on a whole other level on its own! I could see myself eating/slurping on a bowl of it minus the tortillas or it being stuffed into a taco. It's that good by itself! I hear that it takes hours for it to be slow cooked and it's absolute perfection! The owner doesn't settle for anything less when it comes to making his tacos and offering quality customer service to all. Yes, the potato tacos are fabulous too! The potatoes taste so creamy, fresh and good! I can't say anything bad about them. Let's talk about the Korean tacos. They are amazing as well! These are only offered on Fridays and/or Saturdays. They are made with steak and topped with pickled cucumber (kimchi I believe). Then...the magic happens when the sesame seeds and Sriracha Sauce is added. Wow! The only thing I would suggest is eating them in the car rather than taking them home. They still taste good soggy but they taste a little bit better when they aren't. I suggest getting your hands on some of these tacos as soon as you can! Get there at 5:45, 6 pm if you can because there's usually a line for them. 4tacos often sells out of tacos by 9 pm these days. Catering for drive by parades and other special occasions is also offered. A minimum order of 10 plates is needed for catering. 4tacos is open Wednesdays-Saturdays for now. Did I mention prices are also reasonable? Each order of tacos is less than $10 for 4 of them! What a steal! read more

Hands down the best tacos in EP. Ruben and Irene cook the kind of comfort food you hopefully remember from when you were a kid. Let's taco 'bout these tacos!! I've never had birria tacos before and I'll admit, I thought they'd be super greasy and soggy tacos...I'm so glad I was wrong. They were the exact opposite. I got the birria queso tacos and the tacos de papa. My husband got the Korean tacos and we also took another order of birria and papa. I'm big on customer service whenever I go anywhere. Ruben and his sidekick were super sweet, had a sense of humor and made great conversation. I appreciate that they gave me a heads up about the others orders ahead of mine and that they gave me my two papa tacos while we waited for the rest. I inhaled those babies so quick I didn't even get a pic of the nice presentation Ruben had created. Lots of flavor, who knew tacos de papa could be so good! My husband doesn't like papa tacos and he even ate some. My 4year old loves saying "tacooo Tueesssdaaaay" but lately it's hard to get her to want to eat anything besides Mac & cheese or chicken nuggets but even she ate a birria taco. She said "I'll never stop eating these tacos!" Lol. The birria tacos had me at Muenster cheese! Once I saw that cheese, I knew these tacos were legit. The papa tacos with the guac sauce and the Korean tacos with the great flavor and kick of spicy sriracha...all so good! I'd have to say that the Korean tacos were my favorite! I never thought I'd ever see Korean meat in a taco but they were sooo good especially with the sriracha. Genius Idea for a different and delicious taco!! So as a perk I was able to get 6 complimentary tacos, 4 birria, 2 potato. Before we got there I was like "I know I'm not gonna like the potato taco" literally was gonna give it to my kid or something lol. We walked up and they were serving a customer, they told us they were sold out for the night, but when we told them I was there for the Yelp event, he said he had enough for us to order (I guess they save enough just in case one of us Elites show up late, like we did ‍) Louis gets my name and says "so you're the correct Dessiray!?" I'm all like "what do you mean, what happened??" Apparently there are more Dessiray's in El Paso than we thought . Anyway the other Dessiray walked up and grabbed a hold of my bag thinking it was for her lol....not sure when they realized she was an imposter (just kidding....honest mistake) but the goodies were returned. That's how we all got acquainted lol. Now on to the food !! Ok remember how I said I thought I wouldn't like the potato taco....WELLLLLLL YALL I WAS WRONG AS ALL HELL cause that damn taco was BOMB!! Omg. I was so mad I only got two, and one was given to my wife lol. It has tiny pieces of ground beef which was an extra lil bonus....the salsa that was added gave it a "wet" feel that went great with the crunch of the tortilla and the "dryness" of the potato....I would TOTALLY get a full order next time! Next were the birria tacos(4 tacos to an order.) I've never had birria tacos outside of my own house (I make them myself) so maybe I'm a little biased, but they were not my favorite. I'm not sure what chiles were used but the flavor wasn't my fave....but let me say this though he STUFFED that taco with meat/cheese! He absolutely did not skimp and I totally appreciate that! Last were the Korean bbq tacos( 3 tacos to an order.) which had Korean style marinated beef topped with thinly sliced cucumbers and sesame seeds and if you want a little...or ALOT of siriacha than so be it lol. We were feeling a little adventurous so we decided to try something new. We were given a sample of meat to try before we purchased and we liked it so we got two orders ( big mistake) clearly our eyes were bigger than our stomachs cause after one taco from each order we were DONE! Longest story short do yourselves a favor and head on over to 4tacos, not only will you get amazingly filling food, you'll get the BEST customer service along with GREAT conversation !
