Needed a quick lunch break in downtown El Paso before heading to Phoenix, and this spot worked well. My dad and I ordered 8 tacos total (4 al pastor and 4 asada) for $15.50 which came with complimentary chips and condiments. The salsa rojo/verde, lime, and cilantro all gave an authentic taste to the tacos. I'm not sure what the other two condiments consisted of (mexican coleslaw and celery?) but I didn't feel particularly interested in adding those in. Pastor tasted wonderful; asada was decent but a little dry. It saddened me to see an empty shop on a Wednesday afternoon. The lady that took my order was very sweet. Although their menu prices can't quite compete with food trucks, the value is still reasonable. Consider supporting this local business if you're near Downtown. read more

My delivery was quick! The food was warm. I got the pastor tacos and they were great. I was expecting some pineapple in the taco but it did not have any. Was in El Paso for work and looked up taco places and the reviews and pics were good so decided to give it a try. Very clean restaurant in an older part of town. Waitress was polite and quick. I ordered the tripa tacos and my wife got the alambre. We also ordered queso fundido to try as well. Service was fairly quick and our food looked great. Just flew in to El Paso from Hawaii less than an hour ago. We were hungry, so naturally we had to find some authentic local food. Boy.. did we choose right. We ordered asada, tripe, and pork tacos. Unreal delish flavors that hit the post flight spot. The combo of the fresh salsas, cilantro, lime, cucumbers, and the seasoned onions topped these tacos off to perfect. From California but was visiting in Texas. Decided to come here because they were open later than other places. First off, the young lady who took our order was so sweet! We ordered 4 asada tacos & an asada quesadilla. My boyfriend is picky about his Mexican food and we both agreed that the asada was perfectly cooked seasoned! I have gone to many places were the parrillada states it will feed that amount of people and disappointed and hungry is how we leave but not here! It came with potatoes, queso fundido with chorizo or rajas, and they had a weekend special where we got 4 beers per parrillada! What a steal honestly! The pastor was my personal favorite, the crunchy tripitas were my husbands and mother in law's favorite, and lastly asada which had great flavor! We were traveling from Seattle to Florida and figured we should try some authentic food while in Texas. It was Christmas Eve, so we lucked out finding anything open. This place is a hidden gem. Not in the best neighborhood but you can park and watch your vehicle from inside. The menu was in Spanish so we needed help. Our server was super friendly, answering questions and giving advice. We choose what would be described as fajitas back home (parrilladas). It comes with 2 kinds of meat; we got beef and pork. Both of the meats come cooked in little squares, very flavorful with all the fat trimmed off. This comes with TONS of little tortillas and all the fixings. We also ordered a side of pineapple which was a great flavor with the meat. We also go the cheese fundido. The server explained the difference in the cheeses, and we choose the one cooked with jalapenos. Delish! It also came with tortillas. I drank a real coke, with cane sugar. The food is greasy but so flavorful - tons of napkins were used :D It filled us both up to the brim and the total bill was $24. We were so happy we searched this one out on Yelp. read more
