Service was slow, it took well over 20 minutes to get our food after we ordered. It would be one thing if they were crowded, they weren't. We were there on a Tuesday at 2pm and there were only about 12 other customers in the restaurant at that time. So IMO, no reason for the long wait for our food. Our waiter was great, it was his first day on the job and even though the kitchen didn't have their game on, he did everything in his power to make sure we were accommodated. The ambiance was nice, however, their bathrooms were not clean at all. I would not recommend this restaurant. If you want really good Mexican food, go to Mangos Tequila bar and Grill. They just opened a new one on Wilder Road and I 75, Bay City. They also have one in East Tawas, and Alpena. They are family owned and have great Mexican food. Not only is the food hot, it is served on heated plates that are to hot to touch, so it stays heated through your whole meal.

It was too bad for us. Plus the two girls were very rude when we questioned them about the over charge and told us never to come back. They would not give us the over charge amount but said return the sandwich for a full refund. The note on the refund receipt said not the right sandwich but said NOTHING about customer was over charged. Be aware when you get items from this facility as to what the board says and what you are actually charged

Instead of showing patience or basic human decency, the owner immediately became rude and hostile, accusing me of "ignoring" the cashier when I was simply struggling to hear. The situation escalated for absolutely no reason. The owner aggressively reached toward my drink as if she was going to snatch it out of my hand, refused to let me calmly finish my beverage, and threatened to throw me out simply because I decided I no longer wanted to order food after being treated poorly. I remained calm and respectful the entire time, and I did nothing to deserve that kind of treatment. As a veteran and a paying customer, I expected basic respect and understanding regarding my disability. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed, singled out, and unwelcome. I would strongly caution others, especially Black Americans and individuals with disabilities, before supporting this establishment.
