Wow, can't believe this! I can't even eat this because of my allergy and they had nothing gluten! I even told the person I was ordering from that. I don't like beef for my tacos when I was ordering them because I don't know where it's been hasn't been in the fryer. Hasn't been in someone else where was it! And guess what? My collegiate Taco Bell! Once upon a time, it was one of the classic facades down the street closer to Landmark. Once upon a time, it was right around the corner from my dorm-townhome. Yeah. TB owned my late-night binge soul. I've settled down on the craze in the years since college and hadn't visited this particular location in a while. Tonight I just needed a fast meal and TB happened to be around the corner. They had a long line in the drive-thru but managed it well. It was funny they couldn't tell when our car hadn't reached the window yet due to the queue. Poor cashier must have said, "How can I help you?" 10 times before we could audibly tell her how she could help us. Ah, well. Food was good. Still a big fan of the crunchy tacos. Essentially they are a standard Taco Bell crunchy taco wrapped around a soft shell taco with a layer of movie theater type nacho cheese holding it together filled with 3 flavors, original nacho crunch, chipotle cheddar and reaper ranch. All priced for a college budget friendly price of $1 each. At the price of $1, it's cheaper than the regular taco with twice the amount of carbs lol! Honestly couldn't taste much difference between the three other than they are delicious when looking for a nice cheap meal. Did not have the same service issues as others have mentioned. One of the employees immediately stopped what he was doing and came to the register when I walked up. Service was quick, friendly and speedy. Food came out literally as soon as I filled out my drink and sat down. Don't expect much better or worse a quick service restaurant. They do take Rowan Card, which is a plus for Rowan students, however it can get quite annoying. One day I was in the car with 3 other people. We went through the drive through and each wanted to use our Rowan Card. The employee told me that the way their systems works is this: We would have to place an order, pay for it, then drive around the building and get back in line if we wanted to do more than one Rowan Card order. This 1 star isn't for the whole restaurant but their crunchwrap. I gotten this 3 times from this location and everytime there is barely any beef under the hard shell. it is a very thin wrap and the tortilla is normally pretty hard. I ordered ONE loaded griller, sat for 20 minutes, and after 19 of those 18 minutes they made it and popped it in to heat up. It took 2 minutes to actually make, and it didnt even taste that good. I'd like to start off by saying that I'm a big Mexican food guy, and yeah sure maybe Taco Bell is not even close to "authentic" Mexican food. I've been to many Taco Bells in my day and I will say this... This is the best Taco Bell. The staff is impeccable; I've never experienced a fast food staff that works so well together, always with a smile on their faces. The restaurant is kept clean as a whistle, and they even decorate the interior for certain seasons/holidays. This is not one of the old ugly looking Taco Bells, this one is new and sexy. Food is consistently high quality (which doesn't make sense cause Taco Bell is notoriously gross), but this Taco Bell is different. You can just tell that your food has been made with love and handled with care. Service is always quick, dine in as well as drive thru. I can't say enough about this Taco Bell. Keep in mind that I also believe that almost ever other Taco Bell is about the worst restaurant ever created, but it's as if this Taco Bell isn't even part of the chain. I spent an exorbitant amount of money on a disgusting meal, where I did not receive items that I paid for. I made an order online, which was very clearly labeled vegetarian for every item, but still received 5 beef burritos. I had a person standing outside with usherette computer tray review my order, and a person at the window also review it, and then pulled up to the last window where the employee had no clue what was going on. Not the employees fault, it is your corporations fault for pretending to be handling quality control by installing intricate steps that don't actually apply to making sure the customers order is correct. Tried to remedy this with the store, and was told that i couldn't because "it was through a third party". It was through the taco bell website!!! You charge too much for food that cost you pennies to make, is gross, and then blame the customer for the fault of the company to provide a product of minimal acceptability. The customer service ,or lack there of, at this establishment is embarrassing. After checking our bag and seeing that two items were missing from the drive-thru (on 10/19/19 at 1:00 am) we pulled back around to receive the food that was not included. The employees, particularly a young female with braces, REFUSED to give us our order that was PAID for. The employee accused us of lying to her (over two five dollar boxes) and thought it would be a good idea to call law enforcement to waste their valuable time. This Taco Bell and its employees/management are an utter embarrassment to the corporation. Went on 10/19/19 at 1:00am and ordered 2 Chalupa Boxes and several other items off the dollar menu. We only received the dollar menu items with no chalupa boxes. After pulling through the drive-thru to hopefully resolve the mixup, employees were combative, aggressive, and embarrassing in resisting on giving the proper food we PAID and ordered for. Employees wasted law enforcement time as well by calling police as we patiently waited to receive the food we PAID for. The female working the drive thru deserves serious customer service compliance training as she conducted herself in an embarrassing, and low standard after trying to maintain a reasonable conversation over such a common/simple mixup. read more
