The speed on getting our meals was pretty quick as well. Here is where the crappy part of it begins. We had to be at shortly and we didn't have time to go back or we would have. We had items missing and the food was just nasty. The crunchy DLT tacos were soggy, greasy, and just cold all together. Worst Taco Bell I've ever been to. Immediately felt depressed walking into this soulless corpse of a restaurant. The walls were devoid of all color and feeling, as if Taco Bell's mission is to fast track everyone who walks in or works there into a state of emotionless numbness. If I could give a zero stars, I would. We placed an online order Saturday evening. The app says they'll prepare or order upon check in, which has been our experience at any other Taco Bell.We go to get the food, one hour after placing it. The start handing us the bags with everything in it. The boxes were taped like they were there awhile. I ask the girl how long they were sitting there. She said an hour. We filled it as soon as it was placed. I told her it says on the app they do it on check in. She got the "manager". Some young girl with a zero customer service attitude. She says "what's the problem, hun?" I tell her my inside with the food sitting there an hour, Nacho Supremes, Taco Supremes, etc. I tell her the app says you prepare it upon check in. She said "not with a bigger order, we make it right then". That's what our manager says to do. I ask for the managers name. She said she can't give it to me. I ask for the district managers name. She said she can't give it to me. I asked her if she'd remake the food, because it's going to be nasty. She refused. I asked for my money back, then. She refused. She said I'd have to ask for a refund through the app. Meanwhile, she had only handed me part of the order. I told her this is horrible customer service, and a different girl said "just close the windows on them", to which she did. We called the police. They gave the other part of the order to us. As we're about to pull forward, some male employee came to the windows, hands in pockets "have a nice day". We said "you go totally against the Taco Bell app". He said, "it's not my app, have a nice day". Very condescending-like. Police came and said they can't make them remake the food, or refund our money, but he'd talk to them and see if they're willing. It's a customer service issue we would have to talk to corporate about. Which we have. They still refused. Drive a little further if you must eat Taco Bell. One of the best Taco Bell's I've ever been to. All of the employees are amazing and you can tell they are hard workers. However I did see some costumers being very rude to the employees such as clapping when they called out an order. I was headed to Springfield from Kansas City with my dad and fiancée and we decided to stop for a quick bite to eat on our way. We noticed the drive thru had a few cars so we chose to go inside and order our food to go. The kid taking our order (C.J.) couldn't find any of the buttons and had to ask the to go girl (Sarah) for help. Our order was simple. A burrito supreme, 2 nachos, a beefy frito burrito, and a quesarito. He couldn't find ANY of it. The time on my receipt is 6:09 which I'm guessing is when the order was sent and the receipt was printed. At 6:29 we still didn't have our food. I brought this to the attention of Sarah who seemed to be the only halfway competent employee in the building (which isn't saying much) and she said "Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it was 40 minutes tonight. We had 2 GM's not show up and we should have 9 people working in the kitchen right now but we had about 5 kids call in." I get it. Sh*t happens. But as a server, you don't EVER make excuses to a customer. You apologize. And then you fix the problem. No semblance of a manager ever addressed us. And we FINALLY received our food at 6:32. 23 minutes. In those 23 minutes we saw the cooks for the dining side make no more than 4 orders.
