The service was pretty slow, took longer than expected. Food was not too bad, but was not exactly the right order.

I have a love-hate relationship with Taco Bell. I love when the food is prepared fresh, it's hot, it actually has the right portions, and it's edible. The hate part of the relationship is about 90% of the time because the food is prepared wrong, it's someone else's order altogether, it's cold, there's barely any meat, or it looks like slop. I have to routinely call because there's three tiny pieces of steak when I paid almost $2 more for the steak verus ground beef, they forgot something in the order, they put tomatoes on the tacos when I said several times "No tomatoes," the food is cold 30 seconds after I pick it up, or they put chicken instead of steak or put ground beef AND steak when I said "steak only." This last pickup was the straw that broke the camel's back. I picked up one of the new dipping tacos. Took it home and opened it up to see some slop in the wrapper that looked like a truck ran over the bag and then backed up and ran over it again! (see posted pictures). The only thing missing is the tire tracks. Maybe they're there if you look close enough. It was really sad because I watched YouTube reviews about this new item and I was pretty stoked about trying it. Honestly, the taste was pretty good, but I shouldn't have to eat a taco with a fork, nor would I even want to. I truly wish they'd get some kind of consistency going with their restaurants. The kids wanted Taco Bell, Taco Bell it was. This place had horrible reviews, but our visit went splendidly. We all got the food we ordered for the price on the menu (woohoo for the Mexican Pizza return--loved that I was allowed to customize the cheese as "easy"). It was quick, hot, and ready to eat. The store was clean, the employees were attentive and paid attention to details. We used the kiosk to order our food and we left with full tummies. No complaints! read more

This is my favorite taco bell location (in my area). It's the crew that is so great. The store is always clean, the food is fresh, the cinnamon twist always have enough cinnamon sugar on them, and the staff are incredibly nice. Used to be the best Taco Bell in the area, now I understand a lot of items on the menu are no longer available but I was unaware the item we wanted was now only available through the mobile app, however when I asked the person taking our order for a moment and informed her the person I was ordering for only eats that one item off the menu the employees proceeded to talk bad about me while I was paying for the food. We work at Dairy Queen and we wanted to get a bite to eat. So we first went to the one on thompson and they closed at at 11 because they were understaffed. So we went to the one on Emerson and there was a long line. When she took our order she was kind and we were patient with her. At the window she asked us if we wanted sauce even when we forgot. I came to the drive through and they didn't have anything apparently and they said come back in 5 minutes so I did. Then they said 10 minutes. So I did then they told me their food wasn't up to temp. So I was downtown and my loved one was working and mentioned that he craved a 4th meal around 2am. What do I do? Run to the nearest Taco Bell (meridian and 24th) - CLOSED. So I drove over to the one on Indiana Avenue by IUPUI and the hospitals - CLOSED at 2am, it was 2:14am, I just missed them the guy behind the window said. So, I googled 'late night taco bell Indianapolis' and found one on Emerson that i thought was close and called them. SCORE! They close at 3am! Well it was on SOUTH Emerson.... sucks it would take me a good 20 minutes to get there. They were so nice on the phone I decided to give them my business. I get to the drive thru and a lady asked me what I needed. Well not a fan of taco bell myself, I ordered the 4th meal thinking it was something on the menu. They got a good laugh as they explained it wasn't a real menu item.They must have recognized my voice because the gentleman i was on the phone with very politely asked me what ingredients my loved one likes and they would recommend some things and custom make it for me. I was floored. I typically don't get this fabulous service at nicer restaurants and definitely NEVER at a Taco Bell considering the one at 24th and Meridian is in the running for the WORSE Taco bell in the nation. So I went with their recommendations got a whole bag of stuff for only $6 and went on my way. The lady said come back and let us know what he thinks of it. I probably won't do that as it's kind of a drive...but, Thinking back, I'm still amazed. I would love, love, love it if for once, just once, I don't maybe more, but I could start with once, they would put my entire order in the bag. We live close, we eat there a lot, and the food is good but the drive thru always forgets at least one thing. They look at us funny for sitting there and checking our bag before we drive off, but if we don't, we will get home and something will be missing. I get tired of paying for food that I don't receive. Sent my husband to get our family some food, he had the whole list with him. Well before he pulls off he notices a burrito and his drink were missing. So he goes back in to get it. Well when he gets home there was also a chalupa missing. I called back up there and talked to a manager and they said to have him come back and they'd give it to him. Let me just start out by saying that I LOVE Taco Bell.. It's probably my favorite fast food restaurant and I go to Taco Bell frequently. I recently got a job around the area so I decided to dine in at this Taco Bell. To start off, the cashier was extremely rude and you could tell she wasn't happy to be working. So they call my name for my order, and it's the wrong food. Which is no big deal, mistakes happen. When I tell the cashier, she starts arguing with me and tell me that's what I ordered, when it wasn't at all. So they finally remake my order and it's still missing an item. So I tell the manager and she said that she would make it. As I'm standing there waiting for my last item, I hear the manager call the cashier to her and she begins scolding her in front of everyone in the restaurant about not ringing things up correctly. When the cashier comes out, she then gives me a ridiculously (uncalled for) look and goes around pushing chairs in aggressively and slamming trays down. As I start eating, I notice they STILL did not make my food correctly but by then I just gave up. Overall, this was the worst experience I have ever had with any Taco Bell and I will not be going back. read more
