We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon after checking out some of the nearby bars. This is one of those "self serve" locations. You stand in line, order your food and they bring it to you. I met hubby at Ocean Street Tacos for Happy Hour recently. We had a couple beers and shared a few tacos. We ordered 2 mac & cheese tacos, 1 Hawaiian pork taco and 2 brisket tacos. I wasn't a huge fan of their tacos. They all had a very similar taste to me. The mac & cheese taco was probably the best of the 3. The Doritos on top were good for crunch. The Hawaiian pork taco was decent. I thought the pineapple chunks should have been smaller. The brisket wasn't as tender as I wanted it to be and I didn't like the BBQ sauce much. I was in town from Los Angeles on a business trip, decided to try this place and would recommend it. The food was good, I got the Shrimp, Brisket and surf n turf taco, get the chips with queso, the guacamole I don't recommend. The service and ambience was great, but the best part is the the very inexpensive drinks, I expected them to be trash for the price but they are not, get some tacos but load up on the drinks you will get 3 for the price of one at the hotel I stayed in. Your bartender is rude! On the afternoon of 11/23/25 2 of my co workers & I entered this establishment, it was our 1st time there. The restaurant was empty, not one customer. We were not greeted. We stood there until we just sat our selves all while the bartender is standing there just looking at us like we're pests. Once we sat, we looked around to see if there was a server or anyone & the bartender yells out "The menus are at the front you can grab them" so we do that. One of my co workers then asked her about certain type of drink choices & w/o even looking up to acknowledge her she points her finger up at a menu & says w/ an annoyed tone "They're up there". We then decide we would go else where. On the way out I said to her "If you did not want us here, that's all you had to say". She did not say anything, just stood there and looked at me. You order and pre pay at the counter, sit where you choose and then someone brings your food out. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. I never had to ask for anything additional. I ordered a spicy mango margarita that was delicious! I also tried their 3 tacos and a side special. I have never had tacos so loaded before, anywhere! You will definitely get your money's worth. My food was delicious as well. The spicy mac n cheese is a must try if you like heat, which I do! My companion ordered the pictured chips and queso that she didn't eat b/c in her opinion it tasted like store bought jarred queso and chips.
