Cinco de Mayo canceled Everybody knows this is the slowest Taco Bell on the side of the Mississippi. After waiting 45 minutes in line and ordering we get to the window to find out they are no longer excepting credit cards. I tried picking up my food instead of drive through (my previous drive through experience wasn't good) and I could tell the people working were discouraged and over worked. Usually the service at this particular location is slow- but eventually I can enjoy the Taco Bell goodness...but not this time. We waited in line 20 mins only to get up to the intercom and have NOBODY ANSWER. We waited for 15 mins constantly asking if anyone was there until my husband honked the horn to try to get someone's attention...still nothing. Finally the line in front of us clears and we pull up to the window where a young man disappears for 5 mins and comes back and tells us we cannot be served because we honked and they are "understaffed". He stated "their location is under scrutiny from upper management due to bad surveys" and "the GM in the back refuses to serve us because of our behavior (honking after 10 mins of no service)". I am reviewing this fast food restaurant because of the great service I received at the drive through today. The server was patient as I did not know what I wanted (was not familar with the newer menu). Also, when I said Hot Sauce she asked Hot or Fire? I knew there was a difference and I can't eat that crazy Fire Sauce, so I appreciated her asking the clarifying question. The order was accurate and the food was tasty. Taco Bell on Saginaw NEVER go there. Was there a long line sure but I waited. I paid at 7:42 about 750 they told me it will be one second they are making the last couple tacos. 8 o'clock the guy comes out the window and says do you just want a refund. I said I just waited 20 minutes. I would like the food for my family how long will it be he then shut his window and asked his manager how long it would be and she said I don't know. Me being frustrated because I have already waited 20 minutes I said I would just like my food because I have already waited this long. It was like different people were assigned counter, kiosk & drive through. People who came in & ordered after us got their food before us. They kept getting orders wrong so people kept having to come back in. Took 40 mins to get 5 tacos. This place has been notoriously slow & known for getting orders wrong for years. I was pretty hungry when going into the drive through today so it was nice to be greeted by a kind worker as that definitely made things a lot better. I forgot to ask for a water for my dog and she was kind enough to give me one without problems. However the sauce was missing and I was missing a taco, as well.
