Came here for the first time a few weeks ago and I definitely want to get back! Both the inside and outside of the restaurant is extremely clean, inviting and lively. As far as the service goes, it was a little slow but as fresh as everything was, I really can't complain. The staff were friendly, patient and helpful! Lastly, the food. I enjoyed basically everything I got except the classic Savvy slider. The char on the burger was a bit too much for me and overpowered the flavors of the other ingredients. Five stars for the best fast food service I've had maybe ever. Mario the manager welcomed us in and walked us through the menu. He was super friendly and helpful through our entire visit. The menu includes 12 sliders, shakes, chicken fingers, and salads. We went with the combo boxes to try a few sliders and their chicken. The sliders were a generous size; I could eat two for a meal. My favorite slider was the mushroom swiss burger. I really liked the chicken fingers. They weren't super crispy but they were juicy and a good size. You can choose from seven different sauces for the chicken fingers. The fries were okay. I liked the option for different seasonings and we tried the house and cajun. The dining area was spacious and pretty clean. I'd come back to try more sliders. read more

Great burgers however I asked for extra onions and didn't get any. The cheeseburger has a tiny piece of cheese on it. I am so disappointed since I am from the Detroit area and haven't had a good slider since I moved here. Like I said the burger itself was great but they need to add more onions and cheese. How can you go wrong with freshly made chicken slider sandwiches!!! Even though it can take some time to make, the cases of chicken sandwiches are super tasty. Even the cajun fries had a good kick. You may have to ask for less cajun seasoning as they are a bit spicy. But these chix sandwiches were finger licking good! I'm craving them as I write this review sitting a few states away. read more

Almost Fabulous... I called two hours ahead for my food to be ready at four pm. We got there at 4:10 and I don't think they had even started the order. They had a question because they were out of the custard shakes I ordered (they were on special and sold out... sorry child). I got my $1.25 refund and they began our order (a little tacky, but oh, well). They had adequate staffing, but were not super busy. No one was bothering to wipe down the sticky soda covered drink area even though there was an abundance of young workers about. The food came out at 4:18 and it was tasty and hot. The curds didn't look like much, but had good flavor and nice ranch. They had a deal on sliders, so I got 6 for the three of us. My son opted for a burger rather than the tenders, but they looked juicy. I'm sure they will be a good lunch for him tomorrow. The cod looked the best if the lot. It was a good proportion and was similar to Arby's spicy fish sandwich. The breading was good and the boom sauce has a good kick. The same went for the chicken... I thought the breading was great. I went for the beef next... A1 isn't my favorite steak sauce, but it did have a nice flavor and the beef was not chewy at all. It was great. My son's angus burger was very good.... Similar to a little Culver's burger. The fries were well seasoned with their "house" seasoning. My husband will enjoy the falafel sandwich later. I hope to try the shakes next time. It seems cheap of the store to run a sale and then "run out". It isn't that hard to make more. Fortunately they food was great on its own despite this tackiness. Never even got our food. Went through drive through at 5:40 PM and ordered a simple combo meal. There was only 1 car ahead of us. Although we were the second car in line, we waited 25 minutes and never reached the window. The car in front of us (at the window the entire 25 minutes) also waited. We drive off after 25 minutes. What a disappointment and waste of time. They should have let us know if they were short-handed and/or unable to serve us and we would have skipped and came back another day. Was a supposed to be a quick stop driving home from a wedding. We rolled in at about 12:00 to a mostly empty sit down area, we placed our orders and sat down. We were then treated to a 30+ minute wait for our food with out any expectations nor apology for the wait prior to me talking to the manager Chuck whom also provided zero apology when i brought up the the long wait and that they cooked my bacon into charcoal while also giving me a very cold egg, only asking if I'd like a refund or for them to remake it. I do understand that they stated they were understaffed but to have zero urgency nor zero customer service when issues were brought up is what has made me upset enough to post this. read more

We were in town for my son's wedding this weekend and placed a substantial order on the morning of the wedding to delight our guests at the reception. The menu included chicken sandwiches, burgers, fries, and Texas Toast. The food was a hit! Many of our guests had never tried Savvy Sliders before, but everyone concurred that the food was fantastic. We were particularly grateful that the fries were freshly prepared upon our arrival for pickup, ensuring they were as fresh as possible. Ordered chicken n biscuit, tots and cheese curds. The chicken was a little dry on the inside but the honey helped lol. Cheese curds we're good, not overly salty. Dipped in savvy sauce is great. So there we are, dip diving, driving, and flying through Okemos in Starship Midnight, and we happen to take a glance at something we've never laid eyes on! Why of course, I'm talking about Savvy Sliders! Well, we did some stuff, fun stuff in fact, and after doing said fun stuff, your boy was hankering for a bite to eat, y'all. So we set a course in Starship Midnight's GPS and shot off to Savvy Sliders. As Burgermeister Meisterburger and a certified Burger Boy, I ordered the Savvy Big Signature along with the famous fried chicken slider, due to my love of all things bird meat. Cutie ordered up a steakhouse ribeye. She loves her a Philly cheesesteak, and this is right up her alley. She loved it and now I will be trying it next time! We got a side of curds to bootily boot boot! I'm a curd crusher and have a high bar when it comes to deep-fried and breaded cheese dipped in thick, delicious ranch. I must say, these curds are now in my holy trinity of cheese curds! That's some secret society type stuff, people. The ranch was also very tasty, and I'm a ranch snob. Even Cutie enjoyed it, and she ain't no ranchaholic or nothin'. But to the main course, shall we? As a practicing burgerologist and patty professional, I'm an expert on all things burg. I quite enjoyed that Savvy Signature! A good bake on the double patty, complete with your standard burger toppings that added a fresh crisp, throw in a nice sauce, soft buns, and lastly melted cheese. This is a certified classic and a large portion for a slider, but who would complain about that? The chicken slider was also very enjoyable. In fact, I preferred it over the signature. It had a nice crisp and flavorful seasoning with tender juicy white meat. Your toppings will be pickles, lettuce, and tomato, all of which are fresh and delicious. It also has just the right amount of Mayo. Come to think of it, this bad boyo el pollo was also a generously portioned slider. You get real bang for your buck here! However, you may have to wait a tad but that just means they are making it fresh for ya! It's okay, I'm in no rush! You can expect some mess but it's a good mess and you'll be making it while smiling. At least I did, but that may be due to the turbulence we were hitting in Starship Midnight! Got the number one classic box, and my boyfriend got the fish box number 6. We also got cheese curds and a chicken biscuit. Everything was delicious and hot! We got the house blend on the fries and it seems like a typical salt pepper onion garlic maybe paprika seasoning on it. Little kick but not spicy by any means. We stopped here without looking up reviews first. I'm glad we went inside. I can't imagine how long drive through would have taken. Ordering was quick and easy. We got our shakes right away and they were good. Then came the ridiculous wait. The only fast food place where Ive had a worse wait was Popeyes. I don't know of the processes here were modeled after that, but based on reviews and my experience, I would say yes. It was more than 45 minutes later that we got our food. The sliders were great. The sweet potato fries were gross. I've never had such a wet and slimy fry. I came home and air fried them and they were eh. Overall, mayne great for a slider when you have endless time. read more

The shakes are a little weird to me, being custard I would have to compare them to Culver's . The sliders were fresh, ingredients had a crisp taste. Their buns are bakery quality. The wait was not that long- almost as fast as Jimmy John's! Good food, but I didn't like the shake. Definitely thick enough to be ice cream though- a spoon was necessary. read more

First I'll say how friendly the young women was at the cash register, a smile on her face and patience as we tried to maneuver our way though the menu. We had never been here before so she helped us greatly. After ordering she says take a seat and it will be delivered to us. Indeed a short time later a very happy guy delivered our food to us outside on the patio. Burgers were top notch, the fries a 7 out of 10, could be crispier but they were good. Shakes were great. Highly recommended and if I'm ever in the area again I would certainly prefer this place over any fast food hamburger joint. THIS PLACE IS AWFUL! I work nearby and we have ordered lunch several times and each time it takes FOREVER!!!!!! Today I ordered 3 salads. 1 grilled chicken and two crispy. I placed the order online, I paid for it and it said 20 mins. I ordered at 11:55am. I left my office at 11:23 and arrived to the store 11:26. I stood there and waited TWENTY ADDITIONAL mins for them to get them ready while the cooks were goofing around and laughing etc from the kitchen. Finally got the salads, got them back to work and had 1 crisp and 2 grilled. The chicken tasted like wet dog smells and they are NOT good.
