The fact that Taco Bell has "veggie" menu items which make it easy to order meatless items if you don't eat meat or want a meatless meal is a stark contrast to so many fast food and regular restaurants. So I was greatly disappointed today when I ordered a veggie item and got meat on it. I was hearing all the buzz about the new Cantina Mexican Pizza of which there are two versions. The Cantina Chicken Mexican Pizza and the Cantina Veggie Mexican Pizza. I am vegetarian so I am ok with dairy or eggs sometimes but still often avoid dairy because of slight lactose intolerance. So I ordered the Cantina Veggie Mexican Pizza, no cheese in the drive-thru. When I received my food, I opened the container and checked it. I saw no cheese on the top and I could only see black beans on the edges. The receipt was correct with "Veggie" on it so I assumed they know how to make their items and hopefully take care when people order meatless things because there could be religions or allergies involved, or just moral choices. It is a little dumb of me to have judged by the pictures on the menu because the chicken version you can easily see lots of chicken on the edges but the veggie is just black beans. So I left. I got home, put the sauces that came with it on, and took a bite. Something tasted a little strange. I open it up and...chicken. Full on chicken. I tool a whole bite of chicken and swollowed it. I was disgusted. If you've ever distanced yourself from meat, eventually it just becomes kind of gross to you. I was so upset. Why is it so hard for so many businesses these days to give you what you paid for? So I had to drive all the way back. I walked in, the girl in the drive-thru saw me and I think recognized me and I had the pizza with me and I said I ordered the Veggie Pizza and took a full on bite of chicken. Because of the inconvenience of having to drive all the way back, and eating something I did not want in my body, I asked for a refund and to remake the pizza. She said ok and it will be out in a few. At some point the manager must have told them not to remake it but nobody informed me of this. He came over and processed the refund, which took a really long time for some reason then handed me the receipt. I asked if the pizza is coming out and he said no. I can't have a refund and get the food too. "Excuse me?" I said. He said you're getting the refund I can't also give you the food. I was livid. The inconvenience, the moral implications, the fact that this isn't something like I ordered a chicken pizza no chicken. It's literally a veggie pizza on the menu. If I had dined in I may have been fine with that but not after going all the way home and not after taking a bite of chicken, plus I was already told it was going to be remade and get a refund. This store needs to work on their communication and policies. There were tons of people who had already ordered before I even got there and they were waiting a very long time. I saw at least one other order mess up while I was there. In the end I'm giving two stars because I did get the food (which was tasty in the end and so was the spicy potato taco) and the refund but I don't see why this should have even been a question. You do something like this to something, I know mistakes happen, but making it right should involve some compensation not just correction. If this is real Taco Bell policy they need to rethink it. You don't make someone drive all the way back to the store because you can't make the right thing and double check it. I even saw the manager tell the girl at the drive thru it's her fault. Sad, take responsibility of your position and store. I shouldn't have to open up my food before leaving to make sure it's right, but now I will always do that so I don't have to go through this again. I will also avoid this location from now on. I see I'm not the only one who has had bad experiences here. read more

They have some super tasty drinks, and the churro and caramel flavors are a must. They also have the Cinnabon coffee which is a treat. The staff, no matter the day or time, is always extremely nice and actually look like they enjoy their job and helping, which is rare in fast food nowadays. Have no idea what happened all of a sudden but the wait is ridiculous today. I ordered pick up through the app and paid for it. Showed up 20 minutes after ordering, waited in the drive thru for 10 more minutes. When I got to the window all cars where being sent to wait in the front so the time would reset on how much time cars park. There are 4 of us sitting waiting on food now and I've been parked another 10 minutes out front. There was just an apology saying sorry for the wait at the window and that's it. When I did try to cancel the order because I have somewhere I need to he and waiting almost an hr of you include the time I ordered the food is ridiculous the app would not let me. Even typing this sitting here I ordered the food online at 949am it's 1037am and again can't cancel. I am seeing multiple cars going through the drive thru and getting food though now. read more

5 star experience! I got the invite for all 3 new locations and got to experience the grand opening yesterday and really I enjoyed seeing all the higher ups come and support the company! It was sooooooo many people ordering food but so many people showed up to participate in the festivities! Wow! I was blown away at how poplar Taco Bell is! Not only was the place clean and modern but they had a smoothie looking like bar in there with lots of workers and lots of free burritos, tacos, nachos and cool drinks for the guests!! Their energy was very high tonight and I enjoyed myself! So much that I drove 30 mins from home just be there! They had a live dj playing jams wow!! Ok Taco Bell! Not very impressed. The moment I walked in the door, no one greeted or acknowledged me except for another customer who was telling me that nobody even looked up at her or greeted her told her how to place an order. Apparently, the way to order is through the giant looking iPad thing. Nobody talks to you except angry customers. I placed my order using the iPad thing. Waited for about 10 minutes and the guy called my name and gave me my bag of food. I took a bite of my crunch wrap and it was gross..the crunch part of it was stale so I stopped eating it. I ordered a a mango refrescas and it was not good at all. I also had nachos without the meat. The tomatoes were not good. I should have known to walk out when I walked in and was met by the angry customer and lack of customers inside. The ambiance was like a normal Taco Bell but without people. I wonder why??? I would not go back here especially due to the stale crunch wrap. I feel bad writing this but I need to be honest...I really wanted to give them a great review. If I could give minus 5 stars, that would still be too good for the staff at this location. We experienced extremely poor and unprofessional customer service during my visit. The staff cares more about looking and talking cool than doing their job, which should be providing good Customer service. They showed no interest in helping resolve my issue. This level of disrespect is unacceptable, and it reflects very poorly on the business. I hope management addresses this immediately, because no customer should be treated this way. They have a female cashier who likes to talk slick and uses inappropriate language when she's screwing up your order. The last time we went to this location, the same female got upset that the wind blew away the straws and proceeded to use foul language with my 2-year-old in the back seat. Employees don't care - they just hand you your orders and close the windows. 99% of the time, the way they wrap their burritos are messy. Sauce /beef coming out. I'm definitely not a fast food foodie and my recent experience at this Taco Bell reinforces my reasoning behind my decision. Took my 3 young grandchildren for a round of tacos at the drive thru. I wasn't sure how big the regular tacos were or exactly how many each would eat so when I took a count (their count ... silly me !!) I came up with the need to order a 12 pack of regular-no-frills tacos. Couple that with exactly one order of cinnamon twists and lo and behold I'm looking at a tab equaling $37.90. What. The. Served worst Nachos Belgrande do i dare say ever. Maybe. Its a shame because most Taco Bell locations in Vegas at least are serving a way better product. I know every once and a while it just happens. I took the time to walk to the store and dine in. Everyone was nice and the girl that handed me my bag with a big smile. Once I got to my table i noticed the weight was way off from what im used to and this is my go to at Taco Bell. Once opened i could see thee was very little meat and very little cheese the beans were adequate but nothing special. I was very disappointed to also see this store charges $9.30 for the nachos and drink. Where every other location in town charges $7.56. I should o eat this item about 3 or 4 times a month typically. Very disappointing experience at the nice new Sky Canyon location. I would like yo use this store on the future but at some point but I'm torn because the NW Durango location has served me bettter as well as the Taco Bell by Target next to the 95 freeway.
