Three stars for Taco Bell in Madras, and let me tell you why. First off, shout-out where it's due. We tried to hit up McDonald's, under construction. Tried Sonic Drive-In, no bathrooms. So by the grace of crunchy tacos, we landed at Taco Bell. And I'll say this, you didn't need a secret CIA code to use the restroom. Doors wide open. God bless America. The place was clean, bright, natural light everywhere. Felt peaceful. Like a fast food yoga studio. But then we ordered. Twenty minutes. Twenty minutes for fast food. That is not fast food. That is reflect on your life choices food. Now the server was nice. Sweet. No problems there. But in the back, there was a whole episode of Fast Food Survivor going on. Some bickering. An older lady, maybe the manager, maybe not, trying to switch positions. An older cook who looked like he was the only one who understood the assignment. That man was pushing people like it was the fourth quarter. There was a kid back there looking lost. I am watching this like it is live theater. Dinner and a show. And here is the thing, it was 11:30. Not midnight. Not apocalypse hour. Just regular lunch time. You should be cranking out tacos like you are printing money. Instead, we are standing there aging in real time. I am looking at my wife, she is looking at me, and we are both thinking the same thing. There is a Mexican food truck up the road making burritos with ingredients that actually met a vegetable once. But no. We chose fast food. And we got slow food. Location is great. Clean restaurant. Nice lighting. Friendly front counter. But if it takes twenty minutes for two small items, and I get floor seats to Dysfunction Junction while I wait, that is three stars. Respect to the serious cook though. Whoever you are, sir, you were trying. I saw you. You deserve a raise. Just maybe not a stopwatch. read more

Yes they are busy, yes they may be understaffed as it says they're hiring on the outside of the building. If you're complaining about waiting for freaking food and think you can do it better then fill out an application! Line is long, but worker told us it would be 15-30 mins to get our order which was fine as i'm very patient. She sounded stressed out, but I know she had to take on a lot of orders as the drive thru was very long. I felt bad for her. As I got up to the window, the gentleman apologized for the long wait which was nice because not all fast food places do that. Waited 30 minutes at the counter for a mobile order. 10 cars went through the drive-through before they figured out they lost our order. They continued to serve the drive-through and made us wait another 10 minutes while they prepared the order. This place is an absolute disaster if you're in a hurry, go back and drive to Redmond you'll get faster service. read more

First of all this taco bell really sucked, here's the reasons my dad ordered a beef burrito and he didn't get what he ordered, instead he got a beef burrito supreme and he didn't order that. The workers were also very slow and they didn't do their job right they gave him the burrito anyway which was $5.79 waste of money. The beef crunchy taco with no cheese was correct so good for them. Now the large nacho fries oh heck nah there trash they are absolutely disgusting, I mean how could you not have the fiesta bites come on the one back home where I live has them seriously. Trash. Service blew and tables/bathrooms were dirty. There were 5 workers behind the counter and one 1 was making food. Also the workers were yelling at each other which was pretty unprofessional. Update some customers came in after us and we let them know it took 30 minutes to get our food so they asked the worker if it would take a while. She said no and then they asked how they could order, the worker said with the kiosk was the only way. The customers left and the next customer that came in she took his order. Stood there for more than five minutes before we realized the kiosk behind us was the only way we'd be able to order. We were ignored by every staff member and no one came to the counter! If I could rate this place a -1000 I would. The customer service was terrible. I ordered two soft tacos and 30 min went by and no sign of my food. A man wanted to take his order and she ignored him. They messed up an order twice and didn't give a man three of his tacos. When I confronted one of the workers claiming she was the manager she said "we're backed up" and when I told her "then tell your customers that so they know what is going on" she told me to "come and make them myself". 5 stars for taco bell? OK whatever you think of the food the service here was exceptional. Was surprised to have employee walk through dining room asking how food was and if anyone needed anything. Came back a second day and customer didn't hear his food order be called for pickup. Employee finally got guys attention and offered to remake the food if it was cold! Every employee working tonight was absolutely amazing to my husband. He's a truck driver and got into town after 9pm tonight. With shut downs due to the corona virus, their lobby was closed and only allowing drive through orders. Well unfortunately, you can't take a semi through a drive thru. These amazing employees let my husband walk up to the drive through window to order. They were all extremely friendly. My husband is tired and just wanted to be able to eat and go to bed, and they allowed him to have dinner. So thank you guys! You're all the best! read more

This is a great taco bell. The lettuce & tomatoes are always fresh. I order customized vegan food through the app and they never mess it up.

They'll let you wait in line for 15 minutes then tell you they're closed when you get to the window at 8:00 on the dot. Two stars only because it probably saved me from crapping my pants! read more

They denied us service as their dining room was closed and they only had the drive through open it is almost June in 2022 no mandates anywhere regulating dining indoors and then they wouldn't let us walk through the drive through as it was a safety issue.
