I have only done the Taco Bell side of things here, but the food is always done correctly and in a timely manner. When I want something decently quick, and close by, I'll go here although I do try to stay away from fast foods. The only complaints would be one visit where a young manager reprimanded a cashier for a comment she made to me during conversation, and the comment was by no means anything bad. We were having conversation. Reprimanding an associate in front of customers it's not good business. Especially when the reprimand was in front of the same customer he had an issue with when he was listening in on the conversation. The other complaint would be the massive pothole going through the drive-through. It has been that way for a while, and only gets bigger. It needs to be fixed. read more

Worst Taco Bell ever literally had to go back 3 times just for my order to be right there , lucky I was only 2 minutes away but terrible service. The manager was rude. When I first told him stuff was missing from my order he tried to deny me and tell me that I'm wrong and that he made all 20 items by himself. Not sure I've left a 5-star review for a fast food chain before, but this location deserves it. Not only were our orders accurate and assembled efficiently, but the customer service here is excellent. Much to my dismay, I cannot remember the name of the employee who served us. She was awesome. Very patient and she gave us free drinks. We hadn't asked for drinks or made any indication that we wanted one. Nonetheless, she handed us three cups to fill up at the soda pop station at no charge. This was so considerate of her. Fluids were just what we needed after spending the day at the beach. We enjoyed our drinks and nutritious chicken power bowl. This item is made differently each Taco Bell I go to. The power bowl at this location was the best since it was the most well balanced. Some locations serve very little rice, a ton of beans or guacamole, etc. It is not standardized. Overall good experience, and we recommend this location to others! read more

So went to this Taco hell again to deliver somebody's dinner. I've already yelped these guys before but this is a new one on me. So they locked the doors to the lobby because they couldn't handle the business....like 7 o'clock. This is pitiful enough but the kicker is I can see my food, my delivery through the window. Had the worst fast food experience I've had in years. Waited too long. Especially since no one was ahead of me in line. The guy making my tacos apparently just drop 2 of the 3 in the bag upside down and all the ingredients in the tacos fell out of the wrapping and into the bag. I would give this zero stars if I could, I came through and placed my order in the drive thru, the order had some items wrong and even more missing from my bag completely, and those that were correct were very poor quality. When I addressed one of the drinks being wrong, the GENERAL MANAGER Susan P. argued that she didn't make any mistakes when completing our order (what happened the "the customer is always right") then I pull off and forgot to grab my card and didn't realize until about 20-30 minutes afterwards, and I was also charged for another order. My initial order was around $45 and I was charged for another $20, I called the restaurant and let them know that I forgot my card and I was double charged, I was immediately told "I didn't double charge your card as soon as you got your food I pulled the card from the machine" I told her that my bank statement said otherwise and I would be there shortly. When I got back to the restaurant I showed my bank statement proving that there were two charges and Susan tried to gaslight me in to thinking that "oh that's your card malfunctioning and I can't do anything until the charge is no longer pending". I know this is Taco Bell. But this place is one of only a couple TBs on the outer banks. Big families come through here constantly all summer long. They really need to up their game and figure out how to deal with (a) big orders, and (b) strange orders (because kids are picky). They are slow and overwhelmed. If you hit here on a busy lunchtime you will wait. And if you ask for a lot of customisations, check things. They're likely to miss some stuff. And then their fixing of mistakes and remaking of dishes will slow down the whole process. And the big families with their big orders keep coming. It's like a video game set on a difficulty level just a little bit higher than the player can keep up with. We come from Taco-Bell-deprived London, where the sun rarely shines and tortillas are sold on the "exotic foods" aisle of the grocery store (seriously. not making that up.). So we always stop in at this Taco Bell when we're in OBX. Believe me, if there was another TB within striking distance, I wouldn't go to this one. read more

Seven of us arrived at the Taco Bell/KFC 8:45pm on a Sunday night after a long drive. We were ready for fast food so we could get to our rented beach house. It took so long for anyone to wait on us we started talking to the two ladies in front of us that had been waiting 20 minutes (for a simple quasadias). We could not believe that was true! I asked the clerk what we could get that was fast. She had no clue so she asked the manager who talked to her in Spanish and refused to speak to us, the customers. The clerk finally told us that they had no idea when our food would come, and ordering chicken cooked and waiting was not going to speed up the service, she said. The food was mostly good but the cole slaw was very runny from the KFC menu and the people that took our order were foreign and we could barely understand them and them us which is why our order got messed up but they were good to correct it. This is the most poorly operated Taco Bell I have ever visited in my life. The staff is rude, unprepared, and lazy. I had attempted to door dash from this location 3 times. The Taco Bell closed at 10pm. I set my order at 8:15. I then wait till 9:30 and decide my dasher is not coming. i go through the drive thru and the manager their is asking me what i was doing.
