The insides feel cheap, the countertops feel sticky as if they spilled sodas and never wiped and the condiments are no longer self-serve. Drive-thru, is drive-thru. Wait times range between 7-12 minutes and that's not horrible for dual-menu restaurant. This location is more of a grab and go type of place. read more

Happened to stop as the kids wanted the chalupa $5 box... was told despite me seeing the meal in the mini board they no longer offer that deal.. the have a toasty cheese chalupa meal going in currently... I advised the man I wanted the meal so could I sub the cheese chalupa for a regular and add the cinnamon twist since the meal I requested has that and they are still displaying it as it was not a promo item... After trying to get the young man to understand my request he goes to the shift lead who also says no... I gave up and went to my Bolingbrook Taco Bell ordered my $5 chalupa box.... no Problems. I needed to stop for a quick dinner-to-go and the place was pretty busy for a Wednesday night at 7. The drive-thru was packed so I went inside. The guy in front of me received a free meal for some reason by the cashier (a friend discount?) Then when it was my turn that cashier left the register three times while he was in the middle of putting my order in. He kept asking me to repeat what I had asked for. Then I finally get my meal, I get in the car, look in the bag and one of my items was wrong even though I repeated it three times! I went inside and a lady ...maybe manager? was at the counter and asked what I needed. I was about to show her what I had received since the kid didn't give me a receipt, but she quickly replied "I didn't ask you for your receipt". I wasn't sure if that was in a nice or mean tone, but I could tell it was a long day. I asked for the proper item and was trying to hand back what I was given and she said for me to keep it since they would just throw it out. That was very nice of her which is why I'm giving them 3 stars instead of 2. I would have given them 2 stars because of the wrong order, only 1 register open, it was very messy/gross by the soda machine, they did not give me a receipt, and it was no longer a quick stop. read more

I've been going here for years, and recently all my experiences have been bad. One time I went they "forgot" to sub beans in for beef for my order and my dads and as someone who cannot religiously eat beef it was annoying to have to deal with it. We called them up and they fixed it and gave us the correct items, but you could tell it was rushed as everything was spilling out. Then I went again to the same location a different day and asked the lady in the drive thru if there was no meat in anything. She rudely responded "if you asked for no meat you'll get no meat." We went home and when I opened the items 1 of them had beef in it when I specifically asked her at the drive thru so clearly she doesn't even know. And lastly I went again a couple days ago with some friends, and again they forgot to sub in the beans for the beef. I'm definitely never going to this location again, I'll drive a couple more miles but actually get my stuff right. read more

My wife went to the drive through tonight to get us some takeout. We normally go to the Taco Bell on 75th street next to the Shell station but tonight it was more convenient to go to this location. The service at this place is some of the slowest I've ever seen at a fast food restaurant. She ordered some tacos and some gordita crunchs, and it literally took over a half hour to get through the drive through. Seriously, not exaggerating. Whoever manages this place needs to be made aware that this is going on because I can't imagine this is good for business. read more

I've lived near this taco bell my entire life, and it was decent during my childhood. Recently however, they always seem to get something wrong with my order. Mostly with meat choice. THEY SKIMP ON MEAT!!! For Father's Day, I wanted some chalupas, tacos and nacho supreme to watch the Cubs-Dodgers game. We got home, opened up the food to add some fire sauce and there was about half a teaspoon of meat in each item... my wife was pissed. She took them back. The manager said they use a meat scooper to measure, my wife opened up several of them, showed her the lack of meat and she gave my wife a hard time. All of these reviews are correct. We go to TB often. It's convenient to our house and all of the other taco bells in the area give u the right sized portions. All of the TB's, 75th street/new York st/Bolingbrook have better service too. I used to call and complain EVERY time we went because EVERY time we were missing items or even just missing sour cream and tomatoes. How difficult is it to get their restaurant up to par? But more importantly is the fact that TB corporate clearly doesn't care either. Because apparently nothing changes as I complained years ago and am shocked to still see these reviews with the same complaints. Wish I could give 0 stars. Came here with my cousin and they ignored us in the drive through. When we got their attention we asked if we could do separate orders, and we were told no. Then the guy in the drive thru got very snappy, and we waited 30+ minutes in the drive thru, and ended up leaving. Never coming back!! I love Taco Bell. I will not go to this particular one. I've given it several tries. The quantity of the ingredients they put in signature items is sparse. Other Taco Bells put a lot more. Customer service is pretty bad. They've gotten our order wrong each time I've been there. They say they restrict you to 1 sauce packet per item, but if I order 10 items they don't give me 10 sauce packets. I have had to count it out in front of them to get the 1 per item. Lastly, they charge for extra sauce. My advice: there are many Taco Bells. Avoid this one. read more

Ok, wow...just wow... I just drove through for lunch, which I do about once every two weeks or so when I'm craving a cheap lunch. I wait in line a reasonable amount of time and when I get to the speaker, the order taker demands that I wait to place my order. A few minutes later he comes back and says, "what do you want?" Excuse me? Ok, fine, I give him my order of a #10, which is a gordita crunch and two tacos, he tells me my total and I pull forward. A lady two cars ahead of me gets her order, pulls away and immediately gets out of her car because they forgot something in her order. The same rude guy tells her she needs to drive back around in line to fix her mistake...what? I get to the window and he (30 something, Hispanic manager) tells me the wrong total at first, I correct him, he seems frazzled, whatever. He rudely pushes my bag out the window and hurriedly tells me that he put a free mashed potatoes and biscuit in my bag and slams the window so I drove off. I got back to work and open my bag and there are two bean burritos, the mashed and the biscuit in the bag. WTF man??? Yes, I should have checked my bag prior to leaving especially since he was acting so weird, my fault. But seriously, it's taco bell man. I had a three item order. You're a manager. You should know to check the bags before they go out the window. I ran a taco bell for 9 years, I know mistakes happen, but you weren't that busy. Take the two seconds to make sure the order is correct and don't be such a jag to repeat customers! I don't plan on returning to this location any time soon, no matter how convenient it is to my job. I wish you could give zero starts. Taco Bell needs to hire smarter people or learn to train their employees properly. The place failed at customer service, cleanliness, and food orders. I went around 8:30pm which I thought was a good idea to avoid crowds. I walked up to the cashier and the cashier just stood there, never smiled or said hello. It took him 5 minutes to figure out how to put 2 items into the cash register with him looking at the menu a few times to look at the price which he still got wrong until I corrected him. I wanted a mild naked chicken chalup and he asked me if I wanted mild or wild at least 5 times. I gave him the money and he gave us the wrong change, I did not want to go back up to the counter and figure it out because he obviously did not know what he was doing. As i went to sit down, I could only find 1 table that was actually clean. There was a dirty napkin just sitting on the table next to me. The cashier then had 2 plastic bags in his had which I thought was to empty the trash. But I was wrong, he just walked around the restaurant pretending he was cleaning. Then I wondered where my food was and went up to the counter to ask. They usually call you when your foods ready; I found out that my food had just been sitting there the whole time. They never said anything. Not only the cashier messed up, but so did the kitchen. I ordered a mild naked chicken chalup and there was no signature advocado ranch sauce on it and it was a complete mess. I was very unappy with the entire restaurant that I just walked out. I went inside this restaurant on a bitter cold and snowy day, and ordered two Doritos Loco nacho tacos along to bring home to my son. When he opened the tacos to eat, they were filled with a pinch of meat only! My son took a picture and called the store. He spoke with Brandy, the restaurant manager, and texted a picture of the pitiful thing to her. Afterall, I'm not driving back in this weather, and he's hungry and going to eat it anyway. She texted back an apology and offered to replace it with a meal, nothing great. I'd rather have my money returned. It's cold and snowy, my kid is really hungry, and this was frustrating and disappointing. Apparently, this restaurant is family owned and not subject to Taco Bell corporate standards.
