Taco Bell came through today. I placed my order through the mobile app which made everything easy. I added my customizations, paid on the app, and drove straight to the drive thru where all I had to do was say my name. Simple and seamless. No long line so that was a plus. The food was on point. The Crunchwrap Supreme combo was great. The Burrito Supreme combo was loaded the way it should be. I swapped ground beef for steak and added rice (Burrito Supreme with steak is a must try!). Even the classic crunchy tacos were solid. Didn't get a chance to add more photos... Overall a great experience. Fast service and accurate order. This location definitely delivered today. read more

I just went by the drive-thru 10 minutes ago from the time of writing this review. They couldn't even get one simple order correct. I took my daughter for tacos as she was asking for TacoBell. I already hated that idea and suggested In-N-Out instead but she wanted TacoBell, so I took her regardless . For starters I'm not a fan of TacoBell, and secondly, fast-food restaurant workers can never seem to get sh!t done correctly, especially at this location. I guess that's why I have little to no expectations from them and that is probably why they're stuck working here at TacoBell. Anywyas, I ordered my #8 which includes 1 burrito & 1 taco for my self and a #2 which includes 3 tacos (no tomato please) for my kid. Simple order. I pull up to the window and use Apple-Pay. Then the drive-thru worker (Im assuming Kevin E.) asked me to reverse past the yellow post... Trust me I already knew he was just trying to stop the order-timer. I explained to my kid what he was trying to do. I know, I once worked a high-school summer job at a fast-food restaurant myself 25 years ago). Whatever, I complied. Minutes later he waved me forward signaling my order is ready. He hands me 1 Sprite, 1 bottled water, and 2 bags. Without looking and having full confidence in them, I asked, "Is that it? Is everything in there?" - "Yes, everything. Thats it"... -"Alrighty then, Thank you and have a good one" I tell them before leaving. Within seconds my gut tells me double-check. I asked my kid to check her tacos and make sure they have no tomatoes... They're fine! Wow! I'm actually impressed. Mind you the freeway entrance is a few hundred feet from TacoBell so I'm merging within 10 seconds from leaving the drive-thru. I asked my kid to hand me my taco from my bag... And guess what is missing from my order? That's right, theres is no taco! OMG, these people are hopeless. They can't even get a simple order correct. I gave them credit, way too early. Angered & disappointed, I didn't feel like turning back around to deal with this place again as the drive-thru takes way too damn long. I called them 3 times and but they don't even pickup the phone: 510-842-0374. Like I mentioned earlier, I don't even like TacoBell food like that so I didn't see it worth my effort to go back around and wait another 10 mins for one taco which I probably won't even enjoy. I'm writing this review because they don't answer their phone during business hours and I would have liked to just keep it between us, but now I have to do it here on here in hopes that the message gets across to yall. I am not expecting l'chef de cuisine to prepare my meal and serve it to me in my car upon a silver platter. I expect food to be provided hygenically within 2-4 minutes. Tonight, this did not happen. We drove through at 4:35 pm. Our Nachos Bell Grande without meat or tomatoes was served with long wavy hair. Neither of us has such hair. Upon return an offer of remake or refund was offered. Refund!!!! At the window the original partner was there and I gave them the container that held the nacho-hair. Another, more cheerful, employee made small talk during processing. He was told, "She's complaining." -- I didn't complain about the solicitor in the drive though. -- I didn't complain that there were no black beans. -- I didn't completely that they were out of guacamole. Really? I get this had to be a busy time but why not let this person smoothe over the matter? (Seriously, it is Taco Bell so expectations weren't Gary Danko level. My dog, a chihuahua terrier mix (aka a Taco Terrier) named Tacoman is a notoriously picky eater. I didn't think this was possible in a dog as I've had many before who will eat virtually anything you put in front of them but it's true. He will turn down (and I swear this is true) steak. He does seem to like tacos - an accidental discovery. And his favorite tacos by far are from Taco Bell. We walk past this one very often and he gets excited when we get nearby. I highly recommend avoiding this location after 9-10pm, the drive thru is PACKED and coming from both directions so it tends to get messy. I usually get stuck here a good 40 minutes just to order late night dinner - next time, I'm going to have to make the drive to another location. Quick take: I've never gotten sick from eating here, and what more can you expect from a Taco Bell. But I order from here a lot and the food is always fresh. They will mess up your order about 25% of the time. Usually too few or too many items. So always count before leaving. The line can backup to the street, and there are two entrances that sometimes require merging so that can create some stress. The person taking our order in drive thru took forever and I had to keep repeating the order.

"It's a Taco Bell," you say. "These low-star reviewers didn't know what to expect, but I do!" you exclaim, since you're a true man of the people and not one of these highfalutin Bay Area c*nts who thinks they can learn how to relate to the poors by eating fast food. You are wrong, and you will be disappointed. I waited 45 minutes for food, including almost 10 minutes at the pick-up window. And somehow the food was soggy and lukewarm when I got it. Instead of napkins, they give you those thin rough brown paper towels you get in public school bathrooms. I think that much of this location's crap factor is due to its size. Both the actual store, which is tiny, and the lot, which is just too small to have a drive-thru. There's only like 2-3 car lengths between order and pick-up, so they don't have as much time to make your food as other drive-thrus. On top of that, you can enter the drive-thru line from 35th or MacArthur, creating two lines that have to zipper together, so you could get in the wrong one and have 1-2 extra cars in front of you (which can be like 10-20 extra minutes, lol). The staff seemed nice, both when they interacted with me and when they stood there on their phones waiting for my food while I was at the pick-up window. read more

Quick speedy service from Raquelle. (Sorry if I butchered your name) she is the one at the fast-food window with the awesome batman tattoo. You can't miss her. She is nice and helpful while you order. She makes sure u don't forget something like ordering a happy hour drink or if you wanted any sauce to go with your meal. She also asks if everything is correct on the screen and if anything needs to be fixed. Upon going to the window she also asks how you are doing or how's your day going so far. She asks if we would also like your receipt. The food is always loaded up now. I haven't had any issues with food quality. Food tastes fresh and nicely neatly prepared. 11/1/21 I am in the drive thru as we speak... and I can type this cause the line didn't move for 5min. I did originally get out of my car to walk in to order seeing the line, but the door was locked. Slightly dicey joint, but there are worse places to get fast food. Taco Bell is pretty up front about what's vegan and what's not, so there's that. To be honest, I only came due to the T-Mobile free item on Tuesdays (still going as of writing). A couple of times they oddly didn't have my order ready, or had discarded it (oh well, it was free) and it had to be made again - soft taco with black beans.
