Came here for dinner since there aren't many vegan/vegetarian options out here in wildwood and it was a sure bet. The place was clean and we had no issues with the food. There's a kiosk where you can skip the line and place your order without the cashier (good if you have anxiety about modified orders) and it opened me to new options (added onions to my vegan-ified Crunchwrap and it was fun). The cashier who was on duty that day was really pleasant and proactive. She brought my food to my table, as I had placed the order on the kiosk, and even passed around peppermints to everyone in the restaurant (this is an outlier experience, but it was a pleasant surprise). So after going and waiting another 15-20 minutes in line to realize only 1 order kiosk was working I then had to go back to the register to pay cash. the person in charge, I wouldn't say manager because there was absolutely no management possible then instructed me to use the kiosk and select the cash option and then return back to the counter to pay. A simple and quick "fast food" option wasn't available. I will say no employees were rude and it was fairly clean but the lack of actual help maybe me question the ability of the staff and set a lack of professionalism immediately walking in. The manager Jonathan, refused to serve us and insisted that we use the kiosk or we would not be served. During this another employee came up from the back and started cursing at my wife and I in front of our young daughters. Had over $30 in food and the majority of it was awful.....taco shells were beyond stale and the nacho chips were equally stale. The staff they had did not know how to make a proper MexiMelt - had it folded in half, instead of rolled and there was barely anything in it. Hey, it's a Taco Bell. The food is like any other Taco Bell. The reason for the only 2 stars rating is how uncomfortable it is to dine in at this location. The temperature is way too cold. I wish I had a jacket in my car I could've worn, it was that cold. The employees would cal out customers names to pick up their orders but I noticed them deliver food, without prompt, to two different elderly gentlemen. I loved that they attended to their customers so well. I was also pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the bathroom and the sign that stated if their was anything they missed to please let a manager know. The Tacos were so small with not much in each ( looks nothing like when they show the picture of them) very flat . The Rice & Beans aren't the same as I remember having the last time I was in a Taco Bell, again very very small container ( a size for a 4 yr old maybe) and small sweet tea, hate to say this but even the tea wasn't anything special. The total for this disappointing so -called meal ......... $7.76. Couldn't believe it! The seating in there is very cold and not comfy or inviting. I LOVE Taco Bell but won't be returning to that particular location.
