This was my first time ever ordering food from the app. I ordered the Limited Edition $5 cravings box (which has since gone up to $5.99), which came with a Beefy Crunch Burrito, Chalupa Supreme, Crispy Taco, Cinnamon Twists, and a medium drink (I chose Baja Blast). A few days later, I figured out how to customize the items in the box, but, on this day, I hadn't figured that out yet. Maybe this is why, out of all of the boxes I've ordered so far, this is the only one that's been correct! Everything was about as good as can be expected from Taco Bell. All of my items were fresh, full, and legit. I must have been happy with my box, because I've ordered a few more boxes since then (but at different locations). Like I said, this was my first time ordering from the app, so I was a bit nervous about going through the drive-through, but the experience was seamless. I said, "Hi, I ordered in the app?" "What's the name?" "For Jennifer?" "We'll see you at the window!" My food was ready when I got to the window (since I had paid in the app). (They should be open until 3am) Arrived at the drive thru around 1:45am and was told they were closed for the night. My husband questioned them about their posted hours saying they were open until 3am and that we had placed an order via the app and y'all took our money so just refund it. They then said oh our system is down so no order came through and we can't refund you. Excuse me, what?! So you took my money and can't give me my order. Nope, not doing that game. And how about relay the info that your closed for your stores location on the app to prevent people paying and driving all the way out here for nothing. Food was good, but the experience was terrible. Wouldn't allow us to separate orders in the drive thru lane, and our cashier, Allanae, was disgruntled while taking our order. After my experience today, I wish I could give a zero star rating. Waited in the drive thru 30min to pick up my mobile order and was told I had to go inside to pick up. Ok, let me be specific. This was the one taco bell that was open 1:37am Easter Sunday after leaving my buddies house. The wait was about 3 minutes in the drive thru before we could order, again, totally reasonable since it was the one place open. Once I got to the speaker, the gentleman took care of my order SUPER quick. He handed me my drink. I tasted it and noticed the syrup was out. I let him know and gentleman was SUPER sweet about it and quickly got me another drink. I even heard him ask another employee to immediately change the syrup out. He handed me my food, and as the window was sliding shut, I told him thank you so much and to have a great night. They have two kiosks by the door that you can use to order, I'd recommend using it if you want to limit your interactions with other people. Hand sanitizer dispenser wasn't working though.
