If you've ever been to this Taco Bell/KFC at noon on a weekday, you'll see how hard it is to work at a fast food restaurant. Students from the local high school, workmen from the nearby public works projects, people just stopping by, people picking up orders placed via apps. It's really, really busy. I usually wait until after the lunch rush, but I was there today and saw it for myself. There were, I think, 3 people working. One who works at the register, one making Taco Bell food, and Paulette filling KFC and managing all the orders. It's really hot in there. This store is in the Sunset, it was 60 degrees outside, it must be 20-25 degrees hotter in the waiting area. Even hotter, I'll bet, in the back where all the cooking takes place. How they managed during the pandemic with masks I'll never know. It must add to the stress to be so uncomfortable all the time. Someone at corporate needs to add an air conditioner to this place. They deserve it. I've lived nearby for nearly 20 years, this is one of my favorite treats. A couple of times, I ordered chicken that wasn't ready, (extra crispy wings are so good) they told me it would take 15 minutes. I understand, and it's worth the wait. They gave me a free drink, that was so nice. I sat in the library patio next door. No problem. They always come through for me. Knowing what food can take a trip home is important. Crispy taco shells start to soften after a few minutes, I take that into account. (I wish that they would put a bit more cheese on the tacos, they used to come that way, but I that's how things go.) My favorite combo is a crispy taco and a chicken little sandwich. One stop happiness. I hope patrons see what I see and acknowledge how hard these people work. A few more smiles, a few more thank yous would go a long way. And a big damn air conditioner. Seriously. read more

DO NOT COME HERE! I have been to many taco bell's and this is by far the worst taco bell i have ever ordered from. First off they clearly do not clean the fryers or grills of whatever they use to cook the food because tell me why my taco bell fries tasted like straight kfc chicken. Honestly, they tasted so incredibly odd and my grilled cheese burrito tasted like grilled ass. Absolutely inexcusable, how does one fuck up a burrito and frozen fries? it's beyond me. New manager. Gets orders wrong but when she repeats them back, she does it so fast you can't understand her. Looks like they are purposefully underfilling the food. (The food is 1/4 smaller than last year with the old management.) Chalupas coming out undercooked. Tells you no cups for water, then gives the next customer a cup for soda. Then has an extra dollar on every item compared to other Taco Belle in the city. Taco has got a new offering. It has a lot of goodies in it. It was really tasty and the deal was very nice. I've the soft taco and it even came with a drink. The offer was not available in this particular location but the server made sure that I got the advertised special. The store is clean and they made sure that , that I knew that they were making my food. read more

Well apparently I was craving tacos at the wrong location. Normally when I came before pandemic, the service was good and good workers who got the job done. During pandemic it's probably hard to find good help. The cashier was distracted with the kitchen and didn't attend to me standing there waiting to order. The manager motioned to the young man that line was forming and he should take my order. He was not attentive. After I order it took a while for my order to come out. When I picked up my order and brought the home to eat since I was famished. I was disappointed. The tacos felt like no one sealed the bag of tacos because it was not crispy. And it was wet as if the tacos fell in a sink with water or something. None of the taco shells remained one whole, it was cracked and fell apart. :( I was hungry so I ate 6 of them and all were pretty much the same. I don't know what those young workers doing. I like taco bell. I always regret going to this taco. The only thing that is consistent is that they always mess something up. On this visit, they gave me one less taco than I ordered. They corrected it, but no apology. They did refuse to give me more fire sauce. "I can't give you more sauce than that." Been here for years. It's a place to get fastfood close to the sunset. It is nothing special,but it hits the spot when you crave junk food.

I always regret coming here. Poor customer service with rude manager. Messed up my order (gave me regular tacos instead of supreme). They also hide value deals and charge you a lot more for the same thing than at other Taco Bells locations or online prices. She yelled at the kid making my Quesidilla saying he used too much steak and made him take steak back (in front of me) and to not make anything until she went back to micromanage her, while she took orders from customers for 10 minutes. This is a review for the woman who was in charge on Saturday November 3rd, I believe her name was Paula, or Paulina. She was amazing! I live down the street and get taco bell often, it was my first time seeing her and I swear, my food was the freshest Taco Bell/KFC I've ever had, you could tell it was made FRESH and wow, what a difference. One of our orders was about to come out when she stopped and said "I skimped on that one", took it back and added more filling to it! Problably the most ridiculous Taco Bell I've ever been to (in a bad way), so I had to write a review. I've currently been waiting 20 minutes for a crunch wrap supreme meal. The large lady in charge was the rudest person I have ever met. Besides calling me names, she yelled at her staff while everyone in the store was watching.
