The food was absolutely not worth a dime let alone 20$ my wife ordered a cheese quesadilla and when she opened it up it was all tortilla with a couple shredded cheese pieces that weren't even fully melted. She also ordered nacho fries and we did not receive those. When the person at the window spoke to us through the intercom they sounded irritated and didn't want to help us. Very unpleasant. Employees too worried about talking instead of getting the orders right. I will not be stopping into Stephens City Taco Bell ever again. read more

This place is the most sorry excuse for a Fast food place ever! I mean The lack of fast food In this town is sad enough alone! Quality Control: This location has the reputation of screwing up people's orders and I can attest to that. I fully understand that things can get mixed up especially when busy but 80% of the time something is wrong with my order or it's missing something. It's almost as if they don't read the screen or tickets when preparing food. They forget stuff even when it's not busy. Just overall a bad experience. Ask for no tomatoes... they pile them on. Order a cravings box ... the main item is missing. If you love Taco Bell and can eat anything and you're not picky then it should be alright but if you're craving food and expecting to get what you requested and have it prepared how you requested it ... spend your money elsewhere. This place still sucks. Always out of food way before closing. Drive thru takes forever. Unless you have 45 minutes to an hour to spare don't even bother trying drive thru. It's always a bad sign when you see multiply cars leaving the line because they're tired of waiting. I was hoping for improvement since they remodeled a long while back but sadly it's infuriatingly terrible. Seriously the worst Taco Bell (or KFC) I have ever been to. I only eat from here once-a-month and it baffles me that my order is screwed up 70% of the time. I understand it happening every now and again, but they consistently goof. So, why do I still eat there? There's limited fast food in this area and I do like Taco Bell...WHEN they get it right. It's laughable at this point. Today's mistake, Soft Taco supreme. Got a regular soft taco, not supreme. It's simple stuff most of the time, but I paid almost $9 for a Steak chalupa and a soft taco supreme and something was wrong. Not wasting the gas or my time to go back. Should have checked my order before I left, but there was a line...There's always a line. They're nice folks there, but slow slow slow. Anyhow, I can't help but think that my odds just can't be that bad. This has to be happening to other customers. Maybe the universe is telling me to not eat fast food. Apparently they stop making a majority of their food hours before closing. 1 hour before closing they told me that they had no sides for either restaurant and only a very limited menu. This was the best Taco Bell / KFC I've ever been to! The drive thru was packed and we've been driving over 9 hours so we decided to order inside. The lady at the cashier was so very nice and helpful and the guy that handed us our food was as well! I didn't expect such exemplary service late at night with a packed drive thru line. Also the bathrooms were clean and much nicer than anticipated. I don't know how it's got such a low rating, I'm guessing tired annoyed patrons driving through with bad attitudes! I mean it's Taco Bell so expectations are pretty much nonexistent to begin with AND YET this particular location somehow consistently manages to disappoint. Let me paint you a picture: If you try to go any time after the sun sets, the inside will probably be closed despite what their hours say and you'll have to go through the drive thru (maybe it just turns into a super exclusive club after dark, idk I've never been able to get in and neither will you). Anyways, if you're lucky, someone might take your order at the drive thru although more often than not you'll just sit there for 3 hours repeating "hello" into the speaker like a confused imbecile until finally driving off without any food or dignity. I like to think that the employees pop champagne as you leave and laugh at the fact that we all have a relatively short time on this earth and they tricked you into wasting hours of it in their drive thru waiting for food that was never going to come in the first place (but that's just me). Should the stars align and someone actually responds over the speaker to your desperate cries for the glorified dog food they serve, DO NOT under any circumstances ask them any questions or assume that you can just order whatever it is that you came there to order (this is not Burger King, you can not have it your way). You will have whatever cold leftovers they could not sell that day and you will like it. Now that I think about it, maybe just mentally prepare yourself by watching the "Soup Nazi" episode of Seinfeld and just act accordingly (except there will be no delicious soup in your future. There likely will not be any food in your future.) After all, beggars can't be choosers. It's Taco Bell's world and we're just living In it. But, let's say that you had a particularly tough day at work and the only thing keeping you going was the thought of sweet sweet Taco Bell before bed, so you put on your big girl panties and decide "Yanno what? I'm gonna go back and have them correct my order". Well too damn bad, they're closed. lol. Try again tomorrow between the hours of 6:18AM and 6:27AM. And I know, I KNOW, you're probably thinking, "but why would I do that? They're only open from 8:00AM to 11:00PM" and my response to you would be "They're not open from 8:00AM to 11:00PM either you fool! Your life is a lie. Nothing matters! So you might as well just say yolo and head on over". Anyways, in summation, the devil works hard, but the Stephens City Taco Bell works harder. If you're looking for fairly quick food and don't care how it looks, then this is a decent stop. They have a type of fast food that nobody else really has. Besides getting your order completely wrong sometimes, the meals are pretty consistent in looks and taste. It seems that going through the drive-thru is better, as you get to skip seeing the depression and self hatred of the workers inside. Although not a favorite of mine, I have to give it a three since I still end up going there and getting a cheapish meal. read more

Decided to update my review after giving this location two more tries. Good news: it's still run by the biggest bunch of incompetent idiots you'll ever find. When going in to try and correct another wrong order, I noticed MULTIPLE employees in the kitchen area walking around barefooted, as well as a small child. Witnessed employees smashing sandwiches with their hands after wrapping them. Two more tries, two orders wrong. Items missing, items not wrapped, items not as ordered. Somehow, they added tomatoes to items that don't even come with tomatoes and forgot to remove them from the items we requested they be removed from. I'm not sure anyone in this restaurant can even read. Also had to request new drinks three times because the woman working the register put her whole bare fist inside our cups to hand them to us. Absolutely disgusting, pathetic excuse for a restaurant. I wish the health department would shut them down already. read more

I have an unhealthy obsession with Taco Bell and I recently moved from Sterling to Winchester. I used to be so close to like 3 Taco Bells. The closest one to me in my new house is 15 minutes!! I was so angry but then I saw the angry yelp reviews and that didn't stop me. I wanted a goddamn toasted cheddar chalupa and I was in fact, VERY surprised by the outcome. All of the reviews said that there was poor service and that they messed up orders. I, however, did not have the same experience. I had the best Chalupa of my life and the workers were so nice. Awful. I ordered two burritos and took 30 minutes. I wad the only customer. And dont get me started on the bathroom. There was a mess everywhere, urinal and toilet was out of order.
