I was delighted when Taco Bell announced a limited offering of the Enchirito. This was my childhood favorite! So I went to the Twentynine Palms Taco Bell and ordered 2 Enchiritos I was going to eat in the location but when my order came out there was no fork to eat it with. I asked the Manager there , "How am I supposed to eat the Enchiritos with no fork?" He said, "Sorry no forks here, eat it animal style", and laughed at me. So they served me food that I was not able to eat and then laughed at me. Just an FYI, there is a Dollar General a block away that sells forks. How can a national chain advertise a specialty food item and then not have the basic utensil to eat it with?? read more

I'm honestly surprised by the low ratings because I had a really solid experience here. I haven't eaten Taco Bell in years, and for fast food, it was great. The staff was kind, and they made sure I had plenty of sauce packets and napkins. My hard shell tacos were fresh and not stale, the chicken quesadilla was loaded with sauce (exactly how it should be), and the Crunchwrap Supreme was perfectly made--no burns, no mess falling apart. First of all, this location has way too many employees for how slow they are. I tried their new steak cheesy street chalupas and there was almost no meat inside. I was very disappointed. For $7 I expected more. The big problem was my girlfriend's order. She asked for a vegan black bean crunch wrap and hot sauces. We got home and her Crunchwrap was not vegan. And there was no hot sauce at all. I drove the 4 miles back down to them to have it replaced and when I got it back to the house, the replacement was not vegan. Now my girlfriend is driving back the 4 miles and she's angry. We love Taco Bell and expect it to be a fun treat and for the service and quality to be consistent. This location falls short to say the least. Ambiance..... the restaurant looked clean, however the self order machines appeared to be down. I went to the Taco Bell in 29 Palms yesterday to order enchiritos, and other items. My wife wanted cinnamon churros but I couldn't find it on the kiosk but saw it on the menu above the cashiers area. The young lady who was working the drive in window asked if I needed any help. I explained that I couldn't find the item I needed on the kiosk but shows on the menu board. She came over to help and since it wasn't on the kiosk she finished the order and for payment cash then was able to get churros on my order. I would like to compliment this young lady whose name is Carley for professional, courteous and attention to making the customer happy. Carley is definitely an asset to your organization. Her friendliness and willingness to help will definitely bring me back to this location and I will make sure that everyone knows how professional they are. read more

Awful service! Got here and ordered, 2:57. We were the only people inside. There was 1 car in the drive thru. We ordered 4 tacos and a nacho. 3 drinks. The employee calls us up to get our cups. We get our drinks and sit to wait. And wait. And wait. The employees are joking and laughing, playing around. We sat there for 20 mins, took me a few minutes to find an employee and then asked what was going on. Our food was sitting there for 10 mins by the drive thru window! Worst Taco Bell ever! MANAGEMENT PLEASE READ THIS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD Aug 2 2025 @ 2050 For context, attached a relevant picture of my receipt. Went through the drive thru, received my order, first thing I asked was "are you sure this is everything?" Because this location; with no hyperbole, 100% failure rate with getting my order right. There's ALWAYS something wrong with it. Anyways, the response I got from the woman working the window was "I don't know, I don't cook the food." Super helpful. Went back to the drive thru, the woman who gave me my food asked for SOMEONE to come assist her. A man walks up, clearly disgruntled asking me what the issue was. By the way, he never once apologized, nice dude. Anyways I tell him I never received nachos & one of my burritos. He asks which burrito I didn't receive, and my response was, I don't know because they all have very similar wrapping paper, I didn't bother opening them all up. I figured they should just know which one they DIDNT GIVE ME considering they made my order 30 seconds ago. So he asks for my bag & opens up all the burritos (even the ones with different silver wrapping; grilled cheese burrito, common man even I knew that one) and haphazardly closes them all back up. As in, they weren't properly wrapped and basically falling out of the wrappers at this point. Anyways, I get my bag back and the same fore-mentioned woman ensured me the man DOUBLE CHECKED IT AGAIN. Good enough for me, I'm not gonna triple check this order especially considering I told him what the exact issue was and he opened all my burritos. There's literally no way he can mess this one up. I drive 20 minutes back home just to realize he still didn't give me my burrito. Bro, what? Why did you even open all the wrappers then???????? After the fact, I realized the burrito I never received was the cheese & bean burrito. So my official hypothesis is that because my receipt says (2) cheese & bean, he saw the ONE he gave me without realizing I ordered two of them and probably thought I was stupid, and aggressively and badly rewrapped all the burritos to return to me without correcting the issue or apologizing. First time I came here it was very late maybe around 11 and I had an amazing experience and my order was correct and the gentleman working was very friendly. The second time I came here was absolutely terrible. I am pregnant and have very very specific cravings. I was rushed while ordered by a female maybe around 12 in the afternoon yesterday and she made me reverse in the drive through and come back forward just to "reset the time" and I waited for 15 min for my food just for it to be WRONG. They were very rude and rushed me and didn't even get the food right and I know I should have checked it before I left the drive through but I was being rushed out of the drive through even though nobody was behind me. Basically, if you're wanting to go to this location I would recommend going later in the evening and hopefully you get the nice young gentleman I had. read more

I had the absolute worst experience this morning at our newly opened TWENTYNINE PALMS CA Taco Bell. I ordered a ice coffee along with other items, when I received the ice coffee , I noticed that it was watery and asked for more coffee to be added or another one. It was water on top of the ice as if it had been sitting for some time. ( maybe someone ordered didn't want it idk) when I asked ARIA M. She made a loud sigh and snatched the cup from my hand stating that she had to brew another pot and it would be ten minutes, I said ok. She returned 2 minutes later with coffee with no ICE! I asked for ice she smacked her lips loudly and again SNATCHED the cup from my hand! And left came back with the ice and or coffee whatever... And handed it to me and slammed the window. She was very rude. I was horribly embarrassed as I was riding with one of my clients who was just as horrified as I was. I summoned all of the self control I could muster and left. Needless to say I no longer even want the ice coffee smh. I looked so forward to the coming of our newly built Taco Bell, I live in a small town and it has provided employment for many of our children and friends. This Taco Bell has been open about 3 months. Long enough to get a good work routine installed. Twice now I've ordered online through the app and BOTH times my order wasn't ready when I arrived. Order placed @ 1:43, arrived and checked on status at 2:01, was told they were going to make it right then, inquired with manager @ 2:15 and told he would make it right then, walked out with order @ 2:23. FORTY minutes!?? Granted, it was Easter, only 4 employees working, drive through had a constant flow of at least 7 cars waiting, lobby had about 10 customers waiting. There was a DoorDash and Uber eats driver there when I arrived and STILL there when I left. Oh! And on another note, pay attention to outside temp and adjust your thermostat accordingly, it was freezing inside. What a waste running your AC while it was cold and overcast, 50° outside. I told her I just want my order she threw her headset on the floor and went around to the back. And then a gentleman came out and gave me the correct price and gave me my correct order. I loved Taco Bell and would eat there everyday if I can. My issue with this specific location here on base is the accuracy of what they give you. We ordered 12 pieces of Nacho Cheeses Doritos Locos Tacos, Nacho Supreme and Shredded Chicken Burrito. They got the other two eight except my Doritos Locos. We always get what we ordered so I didn't think about double checking it. We found out they gave us the wrong order when we got home and open the box. The cleanliness of the restaurant, the great staff and the fast service DOESN'T mean a thing when you get the wrong order. We are already home and with a 9 month old baby sleeping, we just ate what we got. Thank you Ms. Krystyn R for getting us the wrong order. read more

The food here is perfectly acceptable but since it's a Taco Bell "Express" the menu is somewhat limited. I do love that they have Mountain Dew Baja Blast (which I cannot find ANYWHERE else.) Lunch and dinner lines are insanely long. But that's to be expected when Marines are in a hurry to get chow. I just wish Taco Bell would sack up and open a full, 24 hour location with a drive through, somewhere on base or in town. read more

Only went here once and the food made my mouth literally set on fire. The Baja Blast was just pure lighter fluid, and the burrito was just a firecracker.
