So, I've come to a bit of a conclusion about this particular TB. It's honestly a crapshoot whether or not you'll end up with a satisfactory order, and I honestly wouldn't visit this one if it wasn't so close to the places I frequent out here. My main complaint is the lack of food you get for the price -- and I'm not even taking per item but the sheer lack of "Taco Bell fillings" they put in each item, MUCH MUCH less than what I imagine they should be putting in and it's pretty messy what they do make. I might be more understanding if this were a swamped location, but it honestly never is. My one other big problem is trying to parse what the employee in the drive thru is saying. I'll order and when he repeats it back, he refers to items by names that aren't even close half the time to what I said so I honestly don't know if he heard me right or not. They're pretty friendly at the window, itself, so I can give them that but I have the feeling that some of them were not trained very well or minimally on day one -- which I understand having worked in a customer service role for a while myself, but it definitely seems that way as all this stuff has happened more than once and it shows if true. I do wonder if the turnover rate at this particular TB is really high and they're dealing with influxes of new help on the regular, hence the "all over the place" quality I have been experiencing but that's just me speculating, of course. As a vegan queen, I ordered nachos with extra cheese sauce. As well as it tasted it gave me the poos. The service was not as great but the drag Queen show they played as I waited gave me diarrhea. As I ran to the bathroom clenching my cheeks as hard as I could to keep it from sliding out. As I finished my duty on the wall. It was a nice texture and didn't scrap my bum. Jamie was very nice and went above and beyond for me. I had only come to this location once before and he remembered me, it was an outstanding personal touch. I also really enjoyed the music that was playing it had a nice volume and very up beat and up lifting. I got the Double Chalupa Box and was pleasantly surprised at the value, speed of service, and it was served hot which is always a gamble when eating fast food. This is the absolute worst fast food establishment I have ever been to. Let me start by saying that my husband and I have probably gone 15 times in the last year with the hopes that it will somehow get better, never happens. I have worked in fast food and I get what a pain it is, so it is very rare that I complain because I have empathy for these people and what they deal with daily. First off, today was the first time EVER that they didn't screw up our order. Seriously. If they don't forget something, they neglect to make the food the way we order it. Again, I get mistakes happen, but every time? Second, they have one employee who knows what she is doing. The rest of them either don't know how to use the computers or they don't know the menu of the place they work. Pretty sure that's the first step of the food industry is studying the menu. And finally, their customer service is HORRIBLE. It's sad when one of their employees mess up an order they throw the customers dirty looks, or run to the back to gossip about the people giving them money. Literally, every time they have messed up our order I smile and say "I'm sorry, but this isn't what we ordered." And I make sure to apologize because I know it sucks having to fix something. It doesn't matter how nice I am, the only employee who knows what she is doing, tosses me a dirty look and throws the food in the trash. If she wasn't so mean I would be complimenting her, but she seriously makes me feel bad because her co-workers lack any sort of common sense. Oh and to top it off, the place is filthy. My daughter loves getting her own pop but I couldn't even let her grab a lid because I didn't want her hands touching the counter that somehow had pop syrup coating the top of it. There are always wrappers every where, and every time we leave I have to clean my flip flops because they get the syrup from the pop caked on the bottom. Moral of my essay, some drastic changes need to happen to this place. I highly recommend the employee who has a brain change her attitude because she would get a good review if she did. It's a Taco Bell and a KFC all rolled into one. It's located right off of 34 near the courthouse AND the recent renovations make it a very pleasing site. Personally, while I hate to admit it I have a soft spot for Taco Bell (which might be why physically I've gone a bit soft lately) and I will on occasions get cravings for it. I also sometimes find myself in need of something quick to eat on my way to the Kendall County Courthouse. This spot is perfect for both! To sum it up, imagine waiting 20 minutes for your order in a place that smells like a sewer with depressed employees, then getting your order and looking in the bag and you're missing a bunch of parts in your order. For me I've had orders where they put only meat on my tacos and one where they told me after they made my order that they were out of lettuce and cheese. When you try to get the rest of your order you end up waiting another 20 minutes and you still probably have things missing and messed up. They don't bother trying to compensate you for the time and money you just wasted and then the food is below average. Do not eat here. Please save the money and eat literally anywhere else. Not the tacos you're looking for. I'll be honest and get right to the point about this one... I feel like there may be something shady going on here. Out of the last 4 times I've been here 3 of them I was not able to order. One reason is that when a manager isn't there the employees lock the doors to the building during hours of operation. The other times, I went through the drive thru and there are clearly workers there and it's during hours of operation but they purposely don't answer the drive thru. Sometimes when I try the drive thru I can see the side door slightly open with associates peering out of it as though they are on the lookout. The one time I did get food from the drive thru, I was missing 2 items and they didn't give me a receipt. I have asked corporate to call me and no response. My mom & I just ate at the Yorkville Taco Bell and i can say that will be the LAST time we do. I have heard bad reviews of this place but (beyond better judgement) decided to give them a try anyways. First, looking back into their kitchen it was absolutely disgusting: the floor was covered in food/dirty, and the tables were sticky & nasty. When we got our tacos they had little to NO beef in them at all. (I'm talking MAYBE a table spoon and a half). The manager was running around (keep in mind it wasn't busy at all...?) yelling at the employees and when we confronted them of our issues they just replaced what was wrong with more wrong.
