Absolute worst experience I've ver had at a Taco Bell. The dude at the register was competent, but the store was in complete disarray. I went there with my family for lunch on 8/8/18 and immediately after I ordered, there was a customer that was complaining that he had been waiting 30 minutes. For sure I thought he was exaggerating. I was wrong. As the cashier happily kept taking orders with no warning of the waiting times, it became clear everyone in the store was enraged. I thought, maybe they hit a snag and will work it out soon, but no. My order took 30 minutes(!). It was 2 Chalupas and a Quesarito. I'm not exaggerating, it was literally 31 minutes of waiting. The kicker? The Chalupas were stone cold, with only the the Quesarito being somewhat warm. I could see the staff was working there best, and there was a lot of "sorry for the wait," but the store manager needs to be fired and banned from the food service industry for life. At the very least, the manager should have told the sole cashier to warn customers there was a 30 minute wait, so they could opt to drive to more miles down the freeway to the next Taco Bell. read more

Very dirty and gross. Slow and not helpful. Just wanted something fast as we past through town, and what a mistake stopping here. Almost everyone there was going back with something wrong. The employees were yelling at each other about who was screwing up. One guy in the back grabbed the inside of a trash can to move it and then went back to making food. Plenty of staff, poor customer service, no clear management, 1/2 wait, 3 bags of unclaimed orders, fountain drinks were empty, no ice, flies all over food on counter, dirty, cashier wouldn't smile and did not address issues when not busy....finally got my food over 20 minutes later and all my tacos were soggy and cold. Went to grab a lemonade because the other drinks were out, only to take a sip as I left to find out it was watered down. Gross! Cars were honking in drive through, need I say more?? Won't be back. Cold food, took forever, didn't let clearly pregnant woman pee with mask the cheese was super cold making the dish cold very quickly. The quesadilla only had cheese in half of it. And the cheesy Gordita crunch had the end of the lettuce that no one eats as a huge chunk of the filing which is not ideal. I ate here here on February 13, 2013. First time i ever ate at this one. This is a pretty good taco bell, I'm surprised it took me this long to visit there. I didn't get to go inside, but when I read one of the above reviews, I kind of laughed-- I have been using a paper towel to grab public bathroom door handles since I was 11! I guess I thought "Hey, I just washed my hands." and I KNOW some women don't wash their hands at all, and touch the handle. So yeah.. I don't touch those handles directly... Ick. Anyway, the service was friendly and the food was better than other taco bells I've eaten at. They don't skimp here. I need to start coming here more often. read more

We stopped here in hour five of our long drive to grab a snack after I had nixed several fast food places along the 5 due to bad reviews. My husband reminded me that people rarely leave a good review- they just accept it as normal and move on, so I figured I would let others know this would be a good choice. We arrived around 3pm on a Friday (just about 15 minutes ago.) The young man taking drive through orders was diligent in making sure that our order was correct and he was polite and friendly. Sooo Ive never been to Taco Bell that was literally out of every damn I actually wanted smh. The customer service was nonexistent and an explanation for why they didnt have anything normally on the menu never came. Finally I just asked for 2 $5 double chalupa boxes with soft tacos. Simple enough right? For one, they were out of 6" flour tortillas so I had to get hard tacos, ok fine. So I waited 15mins for 2 $5 boxes (even though there were some more staff than customers smh) and I figured all was well. Once I got in my hotel room though, I found out otherwise. The hard tacos and Doritos tacos were literally just shells with meat in them. Like a fuckin Jack N The Box taco. And they specialize in fucking burgers! There was no lettuce, no tomatoes and a light sprinkle of shredded cheese. The double chalupas were just as terrible, with hella meat, a light sprinkle of shredded cheese and a blob of sour cream not the nacho cheese its supposed to come with and no lettuce. Apparently they had some tomatoes somewhere though because the chalupas miraculously had tomatoes. At first I thought maybe it was a bad day but they had no interest in fixing things either since I had to wait til morning to complain. I took video of the food but no pictures for some damn reason or Id post them too but man. Wtf?! Im not a Taco Bell fan but theyre usually quick and nationally reliable. This location is a joke. Just go to the McDonalds or Burger King that are within walking distance. You will appreciate the advice I promise! read more

Everything is filthy, every order gets messed up (no matter how simple it is), it takes FOREVER to get food that is sloppy and sometimes cold, and it's expensive as shit to be paying for the quality of food and service that you get. I was having success using their self-order touchscreen system until someone didn't bother to read "NO TOMATO" and put it on anyways. I'm not going to have my phone flooded with receipts, and their POS system does not print receipts. So, when I took my order back, the idiot wouldn't do anything. I am NEVER going back. Even if they hire someone that can READ. It's bad enough with the usual idiot clerks that I have to check the receipt to make sure they entered it correctly. Do you ever feel like you need an hour in the car as if you are at a line in construction waiting for what seems like forever. If you don't, do not pull into this parking lot. You will get stuck on average 45 min to an hour. There is no escape once you commit. Just for some crummy a$$ Taco Bell. I got my standard veggie meal at this Taco Bell; 2 bean and cheese burritos with fire sauce. They were, as usual just lovely. However, this review is for the bathrooms, not the chain restaurant food. Super clean, even smelled clean, all paper products were stocked and present and there was even a trash can by the door (a testament to the power of Oprah who announced on her show that she opened bathroom door handles with a paper towel in hand prompting millions of women to do the same necessitating an extra trash can by the door in the ladies). It is right off the highway and a 5-star pit stop experience. =) read more

Slowest drive thru! Only two cars in the drive through (one of them being mine) and we waited 15 minutes sitting in the drive through for one burrito. While sitting in the drive through I read reviews warning others to avoid. I understand drive throughs aren't always fast but my first job was with Taco Bell and I know making guests wait 15 minutes in a drive through is not ok and there is a protocol they should of followed. After 10 minutes I called the store and asked the manager why it was taking so long and he just said we're making your food now. Finally get the burrito and it's cold. read more

If I could post a 0 star review I would. After driving to yreka and watching my daughter play softball we decided to stop and get food since it was already late. We went inside and ordered on the kiosk. After about 30 minutes of waiting I went outside and realized the same lady that was in the drive thru, waiting to order, was still in the same spot. I knew at that point that this was going to be awhile since there were only 3 employees working. I went back inside and sat down and about 10 minutes later two of the employees went on break. Mind you, there were 4 different families in there waiting for food. Luckily at that point another employee showed up to work. As we were sitting there, my daughter and her friend saw the Taco Bell employee (later we learned her name is Mary) go outside on her break. When she get down on her knee, they thought she was going to propose (little kids have innocent minds) so I looked and what she was really doing was loading her glass pipe with weed and smoking it, right next to the windows of the Taco Bell. I couldn't believe that this lady knew saw all the kids inside the Taco Bell and still had the nerve to smoke weed where they could see her doing so. I had my girls look away and tried not to make a big deal about it for their sakes. An hour goes by and by now my girls are starving after their game and in tears because they are so hungry. Finally at and hour and 15 minutes of waiting they have an order ready. Well, it wasn't ours. It was our friends' who ordered 15 minutes after us. So I ask the guy what the heck is going on. So he informed me that after 35 minutes the orders are deleted off the screen. So instead of Mary (who btw is a store manager) checking to make sure she still had everyone's orders on the screen (she knew we were there for a long time) she went outside to get high - in front of kids. So we sat there for another 40 minutes for no reason because our order was deleted off the screen and had a lot of time to see what was going on in the kitchen. The floors were covered with food. There was also a sign on the floor the employees kept tripping over. Finally, we just decided to get a refund, which held us there another 20 minutes due to the fact that neither "manager" could figure out how to do it. Tried to use the kiosk, made a bunch of modifications (kid didn't want cheese, big order, lots of customizations) went to pay and the machine threw an error. One of the workers came out and tried to help but said that sometimes it takes a really long time, shrugged and went back. No problem. I waited as the menu tried to reload unsuccessfully. Three minutes pass. Finally, I gave up and walked up to the counter. I waited patiently. The guy behind the kitchen looked up and said I don't know where everyone went. The girl running the drive through clearly knew I was there and could have said, So sorry, someone will be right with you, but she wouldn't even look at me. She said, Mia! Trying to get someone to come and take my order, I guess (there wasn't much action in the drive through but my RV wouldn't fit so I had to walk in) . Kept waiting. Finally I said, Um, the kiosk still isn't working. Crickets. The weirdest thing, plus that girl wasn't wearing a mask and was prepping food. Maybe it was divine intervention but we bailed. Horrible customer service and horrible hygiene. Don't do it. We headed north another 45 minutes to In N Out instead. read more

Id leave zero stars if i could. Waited THIRTY minutes to get our food. Yes THIRTY. But before that they give you ice in your cup (if you can call it that) because the machine doesnt work. There were about 10 pieces of ice in each cup which completely melted after you put your drink in. After 25 minutes or so i stood up to watch what was going on because everybody was annoyed it was so slow. People that were waiting when we walked in were still waiting at this point too. Every order that came up was delivered with a "sorry for the wait" but watching the employees was pathetic. I think turtles move faster and i overheard "holy crap this is a huge order". We had 9 items total. Food came out....did i mention after a thirty minute wait? Hardly any nacho cheese on the NACHOS with only a clump of dried up beans, the cheese in the bean burrito was still shredded cheese because it was not warm by any means. And was only in the first two bites then it was just all super dry beans. So thick i could barely get them down. Tortillas were stale. We also ordered potato grillers and there was no filling. Maybe 4 pieces of potato and a crap ton of sour cream. Had to use the bathroom before we left as we are on a road trip. Sign says they clean every thirty minutes....mind you we waited for our food that long and there was no bathroom maintenance going on. It's so frustrating to either lose out on cash, or drive all the way back. Honestly, we came around 11:40pm on 8/17/18 and I ordered the chalupa cravings deal box, the gentleman with the tattoos at the drive thru was taking orders, handling the money and they where close to closing too, he handled everything so well! He was incredibly courteous and polite and nice he gave us our cash back promptly and our food right after. Kudos to him and a big shout out to whoever made the food that night my boyfriend stated "that was the most perfect burrito I've ever eaten from a Taco Bell, seriously it had all the right ratios and was wrapped so tight." For this just being a stop right off the 5 freeway they are doing a great job for upholding standards, or maybe this just happened for me this one time but I don't care, I would 1000% come back when driving up to Oregon. read more

The staff is always pretty friendly - aside from the obvious bad day we all have ;) I ALWAYS have custom orders, adding things, taking things off.. and 95% of the time they're perfect. ONCE in a while theres a slip up - but I can understand people are human ;) Im usually a drive through girl since i've always got kiddos with me, but when we go in - its always plenty clean and well stocked :) I've been to plenty of other TB's where my orders kinda make or break someones attitude - they're not crazy.. but they're detailed. I don't normally leave negative reviews unless I think it will actually help either the store management to improve, or future guests to know what to expect. As a rule, I also don't leave negative reviews if the problem seems to be an isolated event. That said, I need to be honest here. I'm a local, and our Taco Bell is getting a bad reputation for being perpetually slow. The dining room is not open at this time, so you have to use the drive-thru. Trouble with this piece of property is that it's very small and the parking lot is so tight that once you're in the drive-thru line you're committed because you can't get back out easily, if at all. Tonight I picked up ice cream from Raley's next door and then headed to Taco Bell to pick up dinner really quickly.... I would estimate there were likely six or seven cars in the line, but I had been told their service time had improved, so I was willing to try to give them my business. Not a good choice on my part. It literally took an hour from the time I first arrived until I had my order. There was a period of twenty minutes in there where the cars in line didn't move at all. I would have ordered on the app and picked it up in-store to alleviate the traffic issue in line, but the dining room is apparently not open for that. When I got to the window, the girl working there didn't try to offer an apology or a reason for the delay - in fact, she didn't even mention it at all. Most other fast food restaurants' employees are falling all over themselves to apologize and offer partial refunds or small free items to try to compensate for even small delays, but that wasn't the case here. I let it slide, because I've worked in fast food before and I know it's rarely the drive-thru employee that is to blame, but they usually take all the abuse. I just wanted to get home with my food. However, once I got home, I found that none of my order was correct/up to par. The Cheesy Gordita Crunches I had ordered with no spicy ranch sauce were smothered in the stuff. They actually had very little else in them at all, which was a huge disappointment. The two tacos I'd ordered without lettuce but with extra cheese for my little one had tons of lettuce and only a pinch of cheese (like maybe ten little shreds of cheese). That's a major problem because they actually charge more for extra cheese, so they effectively overcharged me for what I received. Same goes for the steak taco supremes that were sparsely filled, and one was ground beef instead of steak. I was charged for steak, and that's what I should have gotten. The three regular soft tacos would have been all right, but the tortillas were over-warmed to the point that they were crunchy around the edges, and not in a good way. Pretty nasty. Oh, and my ice cream from the store was completely melted. A casualty borne of poor judgment on my part, attempting to do Taco Bell after buying it. Still waiting to see if re-freezing it will work. Ordinarily I would have gone back down there with my food and asked them to re-make the order, but with a wait time of over an hour and no way to walk in the store, there was no way I was going to do that. Instead, I tried calling the store to talk to a manager. The first attempt resulted in ringing off the hook for several minutes until a machine picked up and screamed fax-machine-like static in my ear before hanging up on me. The second call finally got me to a manager after quite awhile of letting it ring. I told the manager about my experience and that this isn't the first time it has happened. She was very nice on the phone and took my name so I can go in at a different time and get a refund or a free order. She said two of her employees walked out today and three others called in to say they wouldn't make it to their shift, so they were extremely shorthanded. I told her I can understand that, except this happens frequently enough that there must be an underlying cause besides. It can't always be that five employees were absent at once. And that only explains the wait time - it does nothing to explain the overcharge resulting from not receiving the steak and extra cheese I was charged for. That's a matter of not paying attention to the monitor with the order on it. As a local, I would like to see locally-owned businesses be successful. The people working here seem nice. I just hope they can fix the issues so their reputation can improve, and they can return to the service levels they used to have a few years ago. Here's hoping the review will help. Stay away from this establishment, this place is horrible. I said I would never eat there again after contiguously waiting long times for orders, I stopped going there for about 6 months but one day thought I would give them another shot, still after 6 months, horrendous wait times. I even tried an online order, it said 3-5 minutes and it would be ready, I even waited 10 minutes before attempting to pick my order up....lol, not ready yet, plus the lobby doors we locked and they wanted me to go through the drive-thru with 7 cars in line, I was told the lobby was currently closed because they didn't have enough staff.
