This is the worst Castaneda's I've ever been to. My asada was cold and tasted like it had been made 6 hours ago, it was so tough and salty I threw my food away. Before I did that I tried to save it with some salsa. The salsa was so bad. Idk who would ever enjoy that green salsa but it was watery and tasteless. So many of my friends and family drive to 29 palms if they want Castanedas and now I understand why. I've always heard people around jt say the same thing too and now I'm with the them, I will definitely be making a drive if I ever crave their food again after this. Not to mention the taller female cashier was being so unpleasant to me the entire time I was ordering. The drive thru is a little slow however, my food always comes out correct so I don't mind. The ladies who work there are eye candy (at least when I went) and the food is well, taco bellish. I LOVE TACO BELL!!!! ever since there $5 boxes came out that's all I order and very fulfilling with what they come in. Staff have always been kind. Never once have they gotten my order wrong. We've been here a couple of times and find the workers pleasant and very knowledgable about the menu and items. Food is always the way we expect it and so fresh. Inside has always been clean and if we ask for something, like salsa or sauce, because the self serve is out, the workers are happy to help......never a bad attitude!! I had the evil Taco Bell cravings and the devil made me do it!...it went so bad :( what a huge disappointment to a week long craving! So they got the order super confused and the soda was really nasty, apparently they had another guest complain simultaneously so they already knew why when my husband reached to hand them back the cup of gross. In my opinion they should have taken it back right after the other customer complained instead of waiting for us to as well...they also did try to fix the boofed tacos...but they only gave us one new taco out of the 3 that were wrong. I have been very happy with our new Taco Bell. It is sparkling clean Inside and Out. The employees are polite and very courteous. We had a small issue when it first opened. We weren't upset at the misorder, but the Manager took care of it immediately and apologized all over herself. I am so pleased by the improvements. The only thing I might complain about has NOTHING to do with quality of food or employees....It is about the menu board. It is partially hidden behind the ordering panel. We can't see both parts without having to stick our head and shoulders out the window. Keep up the awesome job. I love it!!!!! read more
