We waited…read more20 minutes to be seated which was fine even though they had plenty of open tables available. Staff were friendly when seated and ordering. We ordered chips and Gaucamole and were given something else instead. When my husband asked about it the server said we were given the wrong thing but we said it was fine and we would just keep it. We ordered food, my husband a breakfast burrito and me the chilaquiles. I had asked the server which sauce he would recommend as they offered three, and he had said the red was spicy so I chose it as I love spicy foods. It took 35 minutes for our food to come out. Once it came, my chilaquiles had green sauce on them, I stated that I had ordered red sauce and the server picked up the plate to take it back and got a little attitude with me and said I'm pretty sure you said green but ok. I then told him I'd keep it if it was an issue but he continued to walk away with the plate. He came back shortly after with red sauce and I thanked him. However, I was disappointed with my meal because I had also ordered my eggs over medium (cooked whites/runny yokes) and they were basically hard boiled with cooked yokes. The red sauce also was not even spicy but lacked any flavor at all honestly. So I was pretty disappointed. As soon as we left after eating and paying my stomach felt off, I got sick when I got home and stayed sick all night. I was fine before coming here and hadn't eaten anything else that day so I know it was from eating here. Needless to say we won't be going back here. If you want good brunch and especially good chilaquiles go to Park Cafe not too far from this place they have the best I've had so far in the area.

They weren't super busy so we got seated immediately. Our server David was very polite and attentive. He checked in frequently and helped explain some menu items for us. Shame he wasn't also on the menu because he looks like a snack. We started with the Empanadas with Chorizo, Potato, and Cheese. The appetizer portion comes with 5. These were very good, the dough tasted fresh like they were made to order. For our main entree we shared the Alebrije Parrillada for two. This gave us a good sampling of multiple meats and sides. Everything comes served in a hot molcajete. My favorite meats were the chorizo and the shrimp. My favorite bite overall was the toasted Oaxacan cheese. So good - I could've eaten an entire plate of just that. The rice and beans were decent, however the beans could have benefited from a little more salt. You can choose either flour or corn tortillas. My only qualm would be that there were some temperature inconsistencies among the various components. Some were borderline room temperature, like they had been cooked first; others were piping hot. Overall taste was great though. Will I return? Absolutely yes. If you're craving home-cooked style Mexican food that doesn't leave you feeling super heavy - this is the spot to try.

Inside dining wasn't very big, but it was an off time, so there was plenty of seating available. They serve chips and salsa as soon as you sit. The chips were fresh and barely salted (which we like). I always ask for some guacamole with mine, I'm not a big salsa eater. Hubby really liked the salsa, but the guac was excellent!! Hubby ordered the 2 Cheese Enchiladas and I got the Large Taco Plate (I chose Carnitas and Al Pastor). They were served alongside rice and beans. The beans were nice and runny with cheese melted over. Hubby really enjoyed his enchiladas...they looked good, too. I asked for no cilantro (not a fan), so they doubled down on the onions, I guess. So many onions, I could barely make out what was in my tacos...LOL! After getting rid of some of them, I dug in. The tortillas were a bit dense, so I ended up taking the meats out of them and mixing it up with the rice/beans. The Carnitas were very tender, as was the Al Pastor. Service was fast and our server was very friendly.

Yes, Yes, Yes! Today, my husband said let's try this place…read more I said ok! As we got closer, I realized I've been in the area several times. I have never ate at any of rhe places though. You order at the counter and the food comes out to the table. You can tell this place is family owned. The owners, whom I assumed were there tonight, were lovely people. While we waited, the woman who took our order brought out a basket of chips with refried beans and fresco queso on top with a side of salsa. Woah! What? Epic. But wait! A few minutes later, a precious girl with the most warm inviting, and beautiful smile came out with 2 warm, homemade corn tortillas, with salsa and cheese for us. These were just complimentary extras we didn't expect at all. Soo good. The restaurant is a humble place. Cute, clean, inviting and roomy. There is an inside seating area and an outdoor section. Someone was grilling meat out front. I think, the owner. I ordered a chili relleno combo. It comes with rice, beans, tortillas, and a drink. Hubs ordered two carne asada tacos, and a carne asada sope. I didn't try anything my husband ordered. ( I was laser focused on my meal lol) But it looked really good. He said, you can tell, they make their food with love. Yes, yes, yes, you can. My dish, was the best chili relleno I have had the entire 5 yrs I have been living in AZ. And the beans were phenomenal. Honestly, I prefer eating at places like this. We came for an impromptu date night. I can say it was one of the best meals and date nights I've had in a while. Thank you. Y'all are gonna see me alot. :)

No matter how busy, the wait is never long but your food is made to order. They have an abundant salsa bar and, if you sit outside, an employee is cooking up something on a plancha. We're looking forward to checking it out at some point. Stay tuned!

I got a birria taco and my hubs got an al pastor quesadilla. We also got a side of rice and horchata. Horchata- creamy and delish (which says a lot because I don't usually care for it) Rice- was good to me but the peas could be left out lol Quesadilla- the meat was flavorful and owned every bite. Tortilla was nice and everything was a perfect ratio Birria- OMG! The flavor was perfect and the cheese. It was so hard not to eat it in one bite lol. I foot to add consume but honestly it didn't need it. I loved the flavor and how tender the meat was I've driven past the Litchfield location and always wanted to try so I am happy we made it into this location! Definitely will have to make my way to that one since it's a little closer to home. Also the seating is ample inside and the girls are nice! Kitchen was quick as well. I found this spot tucked away in a Fry's plaza honestly surprising since I've been in the area…read moreplenty of times and never noticed it before. I stopped by on a Saturday night to finally check it out. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the trompo right away, which is always a good sign. I stepped up to the counter and was greeted with a warm smile from the young lady up front. After looking over the menu, I ordered two tacos de tripa and two tacos de suadero. She asked if I wanted the tripas extra crispy I said no. I also asked how they prepare the suadero since I didn't see a choricera, but she wasn't sure. When the food came out, the tripas were a letdown. The texture was off, almost like a stale chip, and they were clearly overcooked. I asked if I could swap them for something safer, so I went with asada instead, but that didn't impress either. It didn't taste very fresh. Now here's the reason you should come to Tacos Chilangos: the suadero. Even though it's not cooked the traditional way, it was absolutely delicious. Perfect meat-to-fat ratio, super flavorful, and easily the standout. The guacamole salsa was top tier. I kept going back to that one over the others. All in all definitely stop by to try the suadero as for as the other two I'd would probably give them a second try.
