This place was recommended to me and it was so delicious! So many options due to the fact that all the meats were fresh! I got 5tacos so I could try one of each meat (barbacoa, carnitas, asada, birria, and chicharrón en salsa verde) they had other meats as well but I only had room for the 5 tacos. The barbacoa and birria were my favorite but they were all good I wish I had room for more. Not the cheapest however... inflation. If the food taste great which it did I don't mind paying a little more. I tipped for great service. For a gas station restaurant the food was authentic and delicious. This is one of a chain of taco restaurants around Phoenix. This one is in a Chevron gas station in Buckeye. It's counter service, but there is a surprisingly nice seating area, and you can buy any beverage you like in the adjacent convenience store. The Pastor Street Tacos were excellent. As with all of the menu items, you can select your toppings (we chose onions and cilantro) and add any sauce you like from a salsa bar (the green sauce is quite good). The four tacos came with generous servings of rice and black beans. We also tried the Barbacoa Wet Burrito with red sauce. It was stuffed with rice and beans, and we added onions, cilantro, and guacamole. It was also quite good, and authentically spicy, even without adding hot sauce. Everything is made to order, so it takes a few minutes, but the service is friendly. read more

Well, this was a surprise! We went for gas and to use the restroom on a trip to Palm Springs and wound up with an amazing Mexican meal. It's inside the gas station so no, the ambience is not going to sell you but it's clean and the food was absolutely terrific. Service was prompt and friendly - no frills. The burrito we got was stuffed to the gills with rice and beans and meat and pico. We also had a couple of the pastor tacos and they were great. There is a lot more on the menu but given that we weren't really planning to eat, we didn't try more. I'll be honest, this is a really long way from where I live and I wouldn't go there just to eat there BUT, I will definitely put it into my route planner for anytime that I am in that area. Finally stopped to order some of the delicious smelling food. Everytime I stopped at Chevron to get a soda, the food smelled amazing. This food was phenomenal. Had the street Tacos and a Bandera burrito. Such great flavor. Highly recommended. read more

Tried the green chile burrito, they said it was really spicy and I needed to be aware of that. I said it was fine, and I wanted it anyways, I got salsa and went to eat it, turns out it was NOT spicy, in fact it didn't even have good flavor. Needless to say I will not be back. The portion sizes were huge (we got the wet burrito) although we pid $4 for chips and jalapeno crema and the chips were half full and the crema was not worth $2 at all, maybe 50 cents - it was so small. So this morning I went to chevrons on miller to grab some snacks and I noticed there was a little taco spot in the fuel station. I was so excited to try it so I went and ask the vendor can I please get the street tacos I even greeted her with a smile. She was so rude being on her phone and then ask me what? I repeated myself but I notice she just be making one taco so I ask her, how many taco comes with the street tacos? She said you ask for 1. I made it plural to her I mentioned tacos not a taco. To make the long story short I said I'm sorry if you didn't understood but can I get the street tacos combo u have on the menu? She walk off with an attitude and let me remind you she still on the phone so she mentioned to the person on the line with her in Spanish you need patience with these kind of people not knowing I'm very fluent in Spanish. It's sad for you supporting a buisness just to be treated like if you're begging to be fed.
