My mother on the other hand decided to order the Short Rib special that was written on the chalk board at the hostess stand. She got maybe two bites in, noted it was cold and the when she cut into the center it was frozen solid, as in I can see the freezer burn ice in it. Yikes! We called over the waiter who apologized and offered to bring something else out. She chose the Rumanian Steak, that came out nice and cooked. Obviously the rest of us were finished eating. She ate a bit and decided to pack it up. The waiter then brings over a piece of Flan as an apology, very nice. (Not all of us are flan fans but still a nice gesture). Now we get the check. They not only charged us for her meal but charged for the steak which was $40 vs the $27 frozen special. We asked to speak to the manager and he said it was a misunderstanding and would change it to charge it for the $27, fine I wasn't going to argue, he was nice about it. They ended up taking the meal off completely. It's a shame that these employees have to deal with the bad decisions and of the owners and head chef/kitchen manager. I will not be returning but wish the best for the staff.
