Located in a small plaza with 7-11 and a few other small stores, we were greeted right away upon entering. There were a few customers but it was not packed which meant we got a booth, yay. The waiter informed us of the specials, most of which I hesitate to order at a diner: paella, octopus, steak, etc. The menu is plentiful with the usual items as well as more Spanish dishes like empanadas, Spanish breakfast, etc. The Italian vegetable panini with salad was not bad but it was odd that the salad had the same ingredients as the panini (sans portobellos), leaving the while dish feeling one note. The burger was the typical diner burger. Overall pricing was okay, given rising costs, though some of the entrees were $25-30+, which i wouldn't do. I wonder what the Spanish dishes would have tasted like because perhaps those are their stars. Service was attentive, though it felt like they were trying to make this more into an elevated experience vs. what it was. I did like the bathrooms a little better than other diners, and I felt pretty comfortable in the little restaurant space.

Got a triple-decker chicken cutlet sandwich, which was pretty good. Sister got a chicken and eggplant thing on a pita. Also OK. The portions were generous. The waffle and regular fries were standard diner fries, which is a good thing. Now for the chili. It is straight up marinara bolognese. I guarantee this is the exact same stuff they serve on spaghetti. They just throw some cheddar on it and serve it next to some chips. Pretty bad. Other than that, not bad. Again, should have gotten the omelet

Let me start by saying the wait staff and manager are very kind and nice... the food on the other…read morehand, oof! My nephew was visiting from out of town and wanted to come here as he always remembered loving their penne Ala vodka, which he did enjoy. My mother on the other hand decided to order the Short Rib special that was written on the chalk board at the hostess stand. She got maybe two bites in, noted it was cold and the when she cut into the center it was frozen solid, as in I can see the freezer burn ice in it. Yikes! We called over the waiter who apologized and offered to bring something else out. She chose the Rumanian Steak, that came out nice and cooked. Obviously the rest of us were finished eating. She ate a bit and decided to pack it up. The waiter then brings over a piece of Flan as an apology, very nice. (Not all of us are flan fans but still a nice gesture). Now we get the check. They not only charged us for her meal but charged for the steak which was $40 vs the $27 frozen special. We asked to speak to the manager and he said it was a misunderstanding and would change it to charge it for the $27, fine I wasn't going to argue, he was nice about it. They ended up taking the meal off completely. It's a shame that these employees have to deal with the bad decisions and of the owners and head chef/kitchen manager. I will not be returning but wish the best for the staff.

It was very nice. Since there were so many if us they took special care to make sure that our orders were correct. Now the food, it is decent. I got a dish that I can't find on their online menu but it had chorizo, potatoes, black beans and avocados with three eggs. It wasn't bad. The creaminess of the avocado mixed well with the egg and potatoes. I wish there was more chorizo but other than that a solid dish. The portions are very large. I had to take some of mine home.
