Do not eat here. This location has an expired permit to operate a food enterprise. Who knows what else they have that's expired. This permit is 5 months expired.

Great food for being fast food. Same as taco bell but upgraded. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They do go above and beyond l. Every time I go the dinning room is not busy and there is plenty of Seats.

That's everything that came on the taco there in the fork

This is truly a terrible experience. Here's a Yelp review that captures the frustration and details of your encounter: "Absolutely the WORST Taco Cabana experience imaginable. I've had issues with this location's order accuracy, so I placed an online order with meticulous modifiers, scheduling it for pickup 15 minutes later. I arrived roughly 12 minutes after ordering, expecting a smooth pickup. Upon entering, the lobby was deserted, save for one person finishing their meal. The drive-thru was empty. Yet, it took several minutes for the staff to even acknowledge my presence. When I finally said, "Excuse me, I have an order for..." before I could finish, the employee snapped, "Didn't get no orders," and vanished. She reappeared minutes later, walked past me without a word, and disappeared again towards the to-go window. Seven minutes later, she tossed a seemingly empty brown bag on the counter, glanced at me, and turned away. I said "thank you" and received no response. I proceeded to ask for a water cup and the restroom code. She bluntly said, "No." When I asked if there was a plumbing issue, she replied, "No, you can't have it." After explaining I had just placed an order and requesting to use the restroom, she begrudgingly gave me the code (1280). Returning to my table, I inspected my order. It was beyond underwhelming. My simple order--a flower tortilla, water, and 1oz each of Fuego, Pico de Gallo, and Ranch salsas--was a complete disaster. Not a single salsa was included. The taco itself contained a mere teaspoon of filling, roughly an ounce of chorizo and other ingredients, making up 85% tortilla and 15% filling. I'm a chef, so I know the difference between a teaspoon and tablespoon. In short, I received an empty burrito, an empty bag (no salsas), and was subjected to outright harassment from the staff. This location is a disgrace. I will never return and strongly advise others to avoid it. The customer service is non-existent, and the food is a joke." Won't be returning to this location, however I was certainly blast on full speed on every social media platform local forums word of mouth and beyond. I haven't left a negative review in I don't know how long...

watery beans and guac i didnt order

they never ever follow directions and never answer the phone i order teo sides of rice and no guac every time and they dont follow directions.... i love the food but hate how often they completely ignore your order instructions

The food was amazing service was kind and fast. Ambiance nice and clean. My granddaughter enjoyed her kids taco combo. Just enough for her big appetite

Geeez, it's been a year since my last review and the fresh salsa bar is still closed. On this visit I asked for beef fajita tacos, but instead I got two ground beef tacos. In other words, they got the order wrong So why do I keep punishing myself by coming here? The same reason as last time, I had a gift card that I needed to spend. At least this time they withheld the guacamole and I did get two small containers of salsa, but I had to ask for the jalapeños. Unfortunately, I still have money left on this gift card which means I have a future date with more of the same.

Friendly older woman at the drive thru only saving grace. Decided to come in after ordering thru the drive thru. She put napkins and plastic utensils and salsa. Food was hot. That's where the good stops. Ingredients although fresh were NOT cooked. I opened an enchilada on a plate and was freshly sprinkled and not even melted. Could see it was small shredded cheese. Rice was old, some were hard and stuck together almost unable to chew. If I could give a zero I would. This is a restaurant I will never return to. I can get half decent quick Mexican at places like Taco Palenque or such. It had been raining, the whole restaurant leaks esp the restroom- surprised it wasn't shut down. Someone came in while I was in there to "inspect" wasn't pleasant.

Chorizo and egg taco with no chorizo... stale flamin hot taco.. trash

I don't know what is going on with Taco Cabana's quality especially at this location... when I order a chorizo and egg taco, it would be nice if there was chorizo on it... are yall rationing? The desire for customer satisfaction must be lower than profit margin goals... also I tried the flamin hot taco..... mistake. The Cheetos were stale!!!! How do you allow this garbage to leave your restaurant?!

    Chicken Fajita Nachos

Went to the drive-thru this time and was not greeted but asked " what do you want " ( not welcoming at all ) There was only one car in front of us, and we waited a good 11 minutes. The food was decent. the quesadilla, as usual, was not crispy but undercooked. I feel like they rushed through our order because the young man asked me if it was okay if pieces of steak were inside my Chicken Fajita Nachos. well I mean of course not? no offense but they're called Chicken Fajita Nachos for a reason. After I said no to his question, he rolled his eyes and closed the drive-thru window. At that moment I felt like they were picking the steak from my food single-handedly. Which is a thought we all wish to not think of but we have to think about the germs entering our bodies due to cross-contamination. the sauce is pretty decent, Definitely artificially flavored, and had a nice tang to it. I live for the refried beans here. It's delicious, creamy, but a bit bland. the chicken quesadilla was not fully cooked on the outside, and the cheese wasn't even fully melted. there was NOT a generous amount of meat on either product and the prices here don't play. still coming back for the chicken fajita nachos though, hopefully, they won't fail me on my next trip.

We just left the drive thru and the girl working was so patient. We had made a mistake in ordering the combo instead of the fajita plate. She made it right and did it with a smile. I didn't catch her name but she had nice long eyelashes. I'm sure she will remember us when she looks at the pictures. Who ever she is I'd like to say thank you!

These are the salsa cups as served. I forgot that I had ordered 2 tablespoons of it split unevenly between 2 cups. Silly me.

Once you're inside, though, the whole operation runs with impressive efficiency. You order at the register, take your receipt, and hand it off to one of the taco guys behind the counter. As the sign says, "No Ticket, No Taco!" so don't lose it. Seating is limited and the line can get long, but they move fast. And don't come expecting cheese or sour cream -- the only add‑ons here are cilantro, onions, salsa, and guacamole. It's a stripped‑down menu, and they stick to it. The tacos are solid. The beef isn't anything remarkable, but the chicken is tender, moist, and genuinely flavorful. The quesadilla is the sleeper hit; the baked cheese gives it a deep, savory punch that outshines the tacos. And if you're hungry or just want the best value, the burritos are enormous -- stuffed right up to the tortilla's structural limit. A hidden little alley spot that delivers quick service, simple options, and reliably good food once you manage to find the door.

For lunch I ordered the Carneasada Fajitas with chimichurri and my husband ordered the Carneasada Taqueria. With my fajitas came a side of frijoles, green rice & flour tortillas. Corn flour was the other option. Both meals came in pipin' hot & the smell coming from both was very aromatic, zesty & spice. Amazing taste, flavors, just the right amount of marinade on the Carneasada with a hint of lime. It was so delicious while enjoying the ambiance. Well I got the chicken sopecitos , my daughter got the pork ones and my partner got the meat tacos. Everything was delicious, the food arrived promptly, the portion size was perfect and bountiful and everything was super enjoyable. I really enjoyed trying some New Mexican favorites. Somehow I'd never been despite living so close, so I was excited to finally check it off my list. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and their famous foyer is just as pretty in person as everyone says. I came with a friend, and we grabbed seats at the bar first while waiting, but I definitely recommend making reservations because this place is BUSY, even on a weeknight. Parking can also be a bit of a struggle since they have a pretty small lot. I had to make a few laps before I finally found a spot, so definitely give yourself a little extra time. They do offer valet, and I believe you may also be able to park in the lot next door after hours since it's their sister restaurant, but don't quote me on that haha. Their margaritas are also really good and definitely on the stronger side, so they were a great way to start the meal. The staff here was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the night. They even walked us to our table and later showed me where the bathroom was, which I thought was a really nice touch. As for the food, it definitely lives up to the hype. It's on the pricier side, but everything tasted incredibly fresh and was well worth it. We ordered the enchiladas, which were delicious, and the shrimp was probably my favorite part of the meal because it was so fresh and perfectly cooked. I can definitely see why this restaurant has been around for so long and has such a loyal following. It took me way too long to finally come here, but I'll definitely be back. One thing I'm noticing as we do these is that you often write reviews that are genuinely useful--not just "food good/bad." You include things like reservations, parking, what to order, or where to sit. I think we should keep leaning into that because it feels very authentic to your style and makes your reviews stand out.
