You can't ask for more in a taco place. Loads of meat and cheese on EVERYTHING and reasonable prices with a friendly staff.

Good burritos. good tacos , decent price. A step above some of those places that have a Bell in the name.

Went inside to order since the drive thru experience has been much slower lately. It seems as though no matter where you order, the service provided by this particular location is nonexistent, compared to 8-12 months ago. After waiting for my order more than 20 minutes I eventually went to the counter to inquire about it and was informed they forgotten about me. The order was left aside, next to the food prep station, the young lady reached over the food prep-per and handed me the order without any apology. Not coming to this location anymore! read more

I am so disappointed. I love Taco Casa, unfortunately not this location. I used to come here all the time and I loved their tacos. They were full of meat and cheese. I don't live close to this location anymore so when I make my way that direction I always stop for a taco. The past few visits have only been ok, and today I hate to say is the last time I will go out of my way. I got there a little early and even waited for them to open. I ordered my 3 tacos and was so excited. But when I opened them ready to eat, they were full of lettuce. Barely any cheese or meat. It was like a bad Taco Bell experience. Okay, so now I am a poser. I admit, I have been eating at Taco Casa since I moved here in late 2008, but I just recently spoke of an "Authentic Mexican" food joint in another review on yelp as if I hated Tex Mex (or ground beef specifically). I don't hate Tex Mex, in fact, I love anything called "Mexican food". Mexican food is a guilty pleasure, what can I say? We all (at least most of us over 30) have fond memories of a place called Taco Bell. Yes, the real Taco Bell, not that crap hole you see on every corner now. Back in oldin' (?sp) times, it was actually good and worth the trip. Well, good news is Taco Casa is better than the OLD TB. It is awesome, and lucky the one I frequent is blessed by God himself. They are great! The food is fresh, hot, plentiful, and served with pride and love. I look forward to my haircuts at Yellow Jacket Barbershop (on 205 if you have not been there) and the chance to eat at Taco Casa which is right next door. Sad right, I just plugged my barbershop in this review, but you gotta go meet Angel and the ladies for a trim if you have not already. They are great, and you get a chance to eat some really good Tex Mex. My word, I never thought I would have something positive to say about fast food tacos, ever. Taco Casa is my FAVORITE Mexican fast food place, and this location is the BEST!! I love that they wear gloves (the one in Rockwall doesn't) the customer service is usually really great, especially the girls, the guys you can tell they don't really want to be there. First off this isnt tex mex or mexican, its fast food f'n tacos. All the "food critics" with a smartphone and the yelp app have this place mistaken for trying to be a high class uptown hang out spot. Its not. It IS however good for the following: Drunk munchies, sober munchies, stoner munchies, pre-game snack, halftime snack, post game snack, or any comination of the three for any sporting event, a gift to a sad friend, a pick me up for the recently divorced, fat kid's wet dreams, house parties, block parties, conpany parties, the parties you have when no one shows up, school dances, disco dances, no pants dances, lunch break meet ups, first dates, 4th dates, or any time you're in the area and craving something thats like a hard shelled dream filled with joy and happiness. I have witnessed this eatery extinguish the fire of gang rivalaries and reunite lost lovers from yesteryear. Imagine a sleeping bag with a playboy centerfold inside, waiting for you to have a wonderful night with her. The burrito is the food equivalent to that. Also, they have cold drinks which is pretty standard for any restaurant I think. Anyway if you haven't been here you must be new in town, and if you have been here and don't like it you must be a communist or terrorist. If you are reading this and still on the fence about the decision give it a try. Great food better than the other 3 places near them. (Bell,Bueno and Cabana) They are definitely not stingy with their meat and fresh veggies. The cheese is amazing. What I love about their tacos it just tastes homemade! My favorite is the taco lite! The best one there! Sweet tea is really good! My husband had the burrito, it had olives in it but it was still good! The only compliant I have is on the Suoer Nachos. Little pricy for amount of meat they give you. I went through the drive thru so they gave me nachos in 2 separate styrofoam containers. One had a lot of chips and cheese in a round container. The other one had little bit of meat in the top left corner and beans in the right and sour cream in the bottom big slot. For $6.39 I would think they would of at least put the meat in the big slot and sour cream in the small one. But the concept of separating wet and dry products was a great idea because I hate soggy nachos by the time I get home! Overall place was great. They are always courteous and polite! And they have old classic car shows on Saturday. read more

My husband and I love this Taco Casa! Food is always served hot, service is always pleasant, and to top it off, the management is constantly finding ways to support the local schools and community. They have a really cool car show from time to time, where people can gather and have a good time. In my opinion, it's just a good, down home, type of business in a world that's filled with an extreme amount of large companies - many of which don't even know the names of the local schools, let alone support them. I wish more business owners had this type of passion for supporting their community. I would give them 5+ stars if I could! read more

I've been to this location a handful of times. The food is good, fast and hot. It's not the best Mexican food on the planet, but for a fast food joint it's not too shabby. My only complaint about this location is the car show they hold weekly. In a nearly dead shopping center, to hold this show right in front of the store, in the area that people who come from the back use to turn around to get in line for the drive through, is asinine and dangerous. It creates a bottleneck on the right hand side of the building, where people who are trying to get in line, leave their parking spot, and get around the general mess that has been created. I was nearly hit three times in a five minute period. I saw people nearly hit by cars that realized they couldn't go around the building to get in line or park on that side of the building. Do the public a favor. Move the car show to the wide open parking lot behind the Taco Casa. It'll free up the space the customers need to protect their cars, not the classics. FYI, the car show appears to be weekly, every Tuesday. Whether this is true or not, I don't know. But it is weekly. read more

Many moons ago,back in the mid-70's, there was a place off of Walnut that was called Taco Plaza, they were there for a while, and as a little kid I thought they were great. Taco Plaza closed down and Taco Casa moved-in, Casa was really good but for some reason they closed down in less than a year after opening. I never saw another T Casa until the mid-90's when my wife and I saw the one off of hwy.287 in Vernon Tx. on our way to Colorado. When Casa came back to Garland a few years back, I was impressed that the food tasted almost exactly as I remembered from back in the 70's. As far as the basics go(tacos,burritos,tostadas, etc), Casa blows Bell and Bueno completely out-of-the-water. Casa doesnt need the extensive-experimental-menus like Bell and Bueno because they do the basics SO much better. Please open a franchise in N. Garland so I dont have to drive all the way across town(passing several T Bells & Buenos along the way) just to get a decent taco or burrito. read more

I have visited the Durant Ok, and my wife and I loved it. we thought the food was great, it was under 7 dollars for both of us. the hot sauce was good too, there were four kinds if I remember. the drink was also very decent for the price. I like them almost as much as Casa Taco, but that place is now closed unfortunately. the quality is similar although the cheese dip at the latter place was the best anywhere. read more
