    Mango Lemonade
    Kelley B.

Taco City y Más was such a great find! The mango lemonade or refresher was hands down my favorite thing on the menu--so refreshing and flavorful. I also tried the birria tacos after seeing them recommended by so many other reviewers, and they did not lie. Absolutely delicious. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather, which made the experience even better. The location is in more of an industrial, warehouse-style area of downtown Dallas, but it has its own charm. Plus, there are local dessert spots and other vendors within walking distance, which is a huge bonus. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely return. The food alone makes it well worth checking out!

    Fajita taco

Customer service was not the best, they got my order wrong even after she asked me twice, got home and realized it was wrong. First time there and wasn't satisfied with the fajita tacos the meat isn't cut fine? Tacos look sloppy

Delicious hidden spot. I got the chicken flautas and Mexican Fried rice. Everything was good. I will definitely be back for Taco Tuesday. The service was quick and the wait wasn't too long.

So my sister brought me here for the first time. It's literally a hole-in-the-wall place, and let me tell you, I'm so glad they did. The tacos and food here are amazing. I had their Barbacoa tacos, and I'm really picky with my Barbacoa--I don't like a lot of fat, and they told me they trim off all the fat. Let me tell you, when I had them, these were delicious, really good tacos. They have a wide variety of tacos, and their chorizo tacos are delicious. They also have burritos and pretty much everything you can think of--all made from scratch. I also tried their chicken quesadillas, which, if you like cheesy, gooey chicken quesadillas, these are fantastic. I highly recommend coming here and checking them out. Like I said, they're really small--parking is on the street, with a few spots in front. It's right next to the USPS distribution center, so it's very convenient. If you want some good tacos and more, definitely give them a try.

This was the fried rice and Tacos de Birra.

Everything was great. Awesome Hispanic music played in the back ground. The food came out quickly and everything we ordered was delicious. The food was at a great price totally for everything $65. And I'm missing 2 tortillas tacos out my pictures but they only cost $2 each. The service was good too, anything I needed I had to go to the bar but I got it right away.

Found this taco stand on my way to the post office. Great selection of dishes, reasonable prices, and great for pick up orders. They give you a lot of salsas to go and even the tortillas are well seasoned. If you are just stopping by you can sit outside on the picnic benches. I will warn that the tacos are very spicy eo if you can't handle that maybe request a little less spice.

Phone records of calling and 8 mins waiting on day cashier to come back to phone.

Customer service needs huge improvement with cashier on DAY shift! I decided to take a trip over to one of my favorite taco spots to eat. Mind you, it's 20 minutes out of the way. So got there, stood in line Just be to be told debit card machine down. Really didn't want this to be a wasted trip? So I GPS'd nearest WF huge sigh, anxiety hits headed downtown. After obtaining cash, I decided to park and call Taco City Y Mas to place the order over the phone so that I wouldn't have to wait too long once I got there. 1st call, the phone rang 3-4 times then I got a message i could not make outbound calls?? 2nd & 3rd call got the same message, ugh. 4th call the young lady working the cash register answered and asked me to hold, now I WAS NOT placed on a hold so I could hear her talking to customer taking orders but once I got to 5 mins of waiting I no longer could hear her and customers talking, I could only hear back ground noise. After 8 mins of holding and yelling hello into the phone there was no response so I hung up and drove the 9 mins back to their location. Upon driving up there was only 1 car in their parking lot. I went up to the window and asked her, why did you leave me on hold for 8 mins plus and her response was she was taking orders and I had hung up she stated rudely, she also stated she had been taking order while I had been BLOWING up her phone. Mind you the first 3 calls I made i keep getting the message "I cannot make outbound calls(??)" But evidently, she was getting my calls and hanging up on me. Sooo yes, very very very POOR customer service, the company's business is about making money and not running off loyal repeat customers as myself. When I complain I come with receipts. See photos. Management or owner you can confirm what I say, you can check the time orders were placed 4/9/25 12:46pm - 12:54pm. Do i think they would check, no... but i hope other companies pickup on this , how not to treat your customers. Taco City Y Mas with all said and done, your night crew ROCKS!

40 minute wait, my boyfriend had a 1 hour and 10 minutes. There is a sign that there is a minimum 25 minute wait, but damn. Then everyone started getting their tacos before us, even people that ordered after us. We ended up getting our tacos after the kitchen closed. The cook came out to clean and he told me he didn't have anymore tickets waiting he had cooked everything all ready. I was so frustrated and confused. My order was vegan tacos, so grilled vegetables in a tortilla, that shouldnt take long. The food is 100% delicious, i give it that, but damn that wait was not worth it at all. I want to go back, my mouth is salivating for it, but nah, not if that is going to happen to me again

Birria Taco Plate, Camarones al Aji Shrimp Taco and Sandia
    Julian A.

the reviews were kind of all over the place so I took a chance. ordered the birria plate, a shrimp taco and a drink sandia flavor. I didn't really know what the drink flavor was but it tasted like watermelon the birria was good. the rice and beans were really good and very flavorful. usually with these plates at mexican joints I don't eat the rice and beans but I ate everything this time. the shrimp taco was mid and I wouldn't order that again. I ordered via uber eats.

    Birria Consume

Food was awesome! Great environment for the late night munchies! Tacos de birria was bomb, it had a great flavor and who can go wrong with some consume on the side. The breakfast tacos were also loaded and came with a generous amount of egg and beans, they don't be playin' around. There was one thing that stood out to me the most, The quesadilla! Yeah, the fajita was on point. Fantastic seasoning and wasn't bland like you find in most places, I would go back just for the quesadilla, but trust me, if you get the quesadilla meal with beans and rice that's enough to fill you up. I can eat and i couldn't finish it after those two big breakfast burritos. Service is to be expected with the lady in the cashier being super nice and really suggesting the good stuff on the menu. A friend mentioned that the Jamaica drink was good. I guess the only downside is that is that it doesn't have an indoor area but to me it doesn't matter especially since you're going for the munchies, bonus points for good salsa. If you haven't checked it out then what are you waiting for!

I'll skip the pastor and chicken quesadilla next time, and try and get the birria tacos if I'm there on a Sunday. I didn't get a picture of churros but they were the best I've ever had. Crunchy and flavorful. Service was fast, but the calling of your name (to pick up the order) is super low. I don't know how my friend heard our name. Ambiance is loud, but I was also there during the Mexico WC game, so that's understandable. The place was lively and fun.

There are multiple locations in DFW, and this review is for the Chilangos in Dallas off of Ross. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The two Chilangos locations I've been to are both located in strip malls with a bright, neon "Chilangos Tacos" sign above the entrance. Inside, there's reggaeton music, tons of patrons, and ESL here. Once you place your order, grab a Jarritos, a bright red metal seat, and watch the staff cook your tacos to order. 1 Star. Service - The staff are very friendly and efficient. It really helps if you speak Spanish, so go with someone who does, or point to the menu item you want. Once you place your order, grab a seat and wait for your name to be called. The staff is super nice and efficient, and our order was available in about 5 min. 1 Star. Food - Birria Quesatacos with consume. Memorize it and order it. Kudos to my son who swears by this dish. I am now a believer. The tender seasoned shredded birria beef is so flavorful. The quesataco style melts the cheese into the corn tortilla. And when you take some diced onion and cilantro to top it, dunk it in the consume before biting into the most flavorful taco served in DFW. According to the menu, this dish is only available on the weekend, but I've used food deliver services to get my consume fix during the week so YMMV. Bottom line, it's not just the best item on the menu, it's the best taco bite in all of DFW. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Chilango Tacos is expanding in DFW. There are now multiple locations in all of DFW so there should be a location near you. Chilangos Tacos is now in my weekly rotation. 1 Star.

The surrounding neighborhood, however, was a pleasant surprise. It's a trendy, energetic pocket of Dallas that I had somehow never explored before, and it immediately caught my attention. The restaurant itself is quite unassuming. If I'm being honest, it didn't exactly scream "come on in." On this particular night, there was only one employee working. It took nearly 10 minutes just to place my order and another 15 minutes before the food arrived. By that point, I was more than a little annoyed. Then the tacos showed up. Talk about a complete plot twist. Not only was everything beautifully presented, but the flavors were absolutely unbelievable. Whenever I visit a taco spot, I like to order a variety so I can get a sense of what they're really capable of. This time it was the al pastor, carne asada, and Baja tacos. One word....incredible. I can't tell you which one was best! I've had great tacos before. I've had places nail one or two selections. But I honestly can't remember the last time three completely different tacos all delivered a perfect punch in a single sitting. Every bite was packed with flavor, expertly balanced, and memorable in its own way. Without question, this was the best taco trio I've ever had. What a roller coaster of a visit. I went from feeling completely ignored and wondering if I'd made a mistake, to wanting to walk back into the kitchen and hug the chef. Sometimes great food doesn't just redeem an experience--it completely rewrites it. The Taco stand is GOATED
