I was in town on business and this place was recommended to me. So, I went there for lunch. It wasn't busy and it was very clean. My order was simple, a chicken fajita, chips and salsa. Service was fast and somewhat friendly. Well what I got wasn't a fajita, it was more like a soft taco that I could have made at home. Grilled strips of chicken, cheese, lettuce and tomato on a soft tortilla. The chips were not fresh and a little stale. The salsa was not edible due to not being fresh and overly spicy. I have been eating at Taco Delite for around 30 years 20 in Wylie five in Plano and five in Paris never ever have I had a bad anything from that place I went to the one in Paris today and that had to be the worst food I have ever eaten in my life it was just it was really awful. Had a taco burger and a burrito and apparently they have some type of filler in their meat now as well typically would never leave a review good or bad but this was awful please consider that. read more

I have watched those kids squeeze their blackheads out while on break and go right back inside WITHOUT washing their hands. Was not happy with the food. It had no flavor and was over priced for the quality of food they serve. But have to say between 2 pm - 6 pm and size soda fountain drink for only 99 cents.. It is a mediocre place with mediocre food...I have eaten here many times within the last 15 years and it is just ok, if you are hungry. It was the place to go for fast food mexican before Taco Casa opened up and was better than our local Taco Bell. I find this place quite good. The food is fast but different than Taco Bell. It has more of a homemade taste than most fast food. They are closed on Sunday so don't try to satisfy a craving that day. I enjoy the food here as Paris is my home town and I love coming back home just for some Taco Delite Although, the service here is absolutely horrible. It's a shame that it makes me truly not want to visit solely based on customer service. As another reviewer said, you feel like a bother even trying to place an order. How this place stays in business is beyond me. (Disclaimer first: I have worked in food service including cashiering for years, and I'm very patient/forgiving/understanding at restaurants.) First time there, asked what options they have for meat. The response was hard to hear since she refused to talk to me straight and instead muttered with her back towards me, even when I politely asked her to repeat herself. Pretty good food.......when you get what you ordered that is. I have been coming to this Taco Delite in Paris since I was in high school and I still drive thru frequently. Whenever I order MEAT burritos, at LEAST 25% of the time I get BEAN instead, even when they do bother to call my order back to me (which is something very new to this place). Today I got home and, once again, got bean instead of meat. I drove back up there and I spoke to the manager about it. I got an excuse in the form of an answer that started "I know this sounds like an excuse but...." and then she proceeded to actually tell me she had noticed there was a problem with staff communication and getting orders out correctly. I've tried this place a few times now and it is just not good. There is hardly any meat on your food whether you get breakfast or lunch/dinner and the customer service could be better.
