Only complaint is that I asked for no lettuce (a scourge in the Midwest mexican food situation) and still got it, but it didn't ruin the experience. On vacation and decided to try this restaurant. Paid for salsa and never received it. Paid $17 for street tacos (4 of them) plus $1 more for flour tortilla. Wonderful food! The rice was a bit overcooked but in the burrito bowl it was fine. It's a tiny shack on the side of Rt 12, very unassuming but the inside is totally immaculate. Just like everyone else we stopped here on a road trip. Good food and a small but indoor dining area. I got veggie nachos, they were pretty good. My family got burrito bowls and tacos. They agreed that this place was worth the stop. The best part of the meal kinda took me by surprise, the churros! Even though they were the last thing we ate, they were still super warm and they had some sort of filling that was a pleasant surprise. I like that they come w chocolate sauce. I Will note that the menus within the restaurant all differ slightly, some of the items cost more at the ordering station menu opposed to the dining area menu. We needed to grab some take out food and eat on a picnic table outside and Super Street Tacos was our choice. I had the carnitas - just one taco - and it was very good. I'm not normally a radish person but that topping gave the taco a nice crisp texture and taste. Maybe shred the radishes for easier eating. Others in my group split the pork tacos and they enjoyed them very much. Also high cudos for the salsa. The chips were warmed and nice and crispy. All very good. Good stop. read more

Great stop for hungry travelers! We were craving tacos and found this spot right off the highway. Really great food - kid approved too by 6yo and 3yo. The kids shared a quesadilla and side of rice & beans. We also had tacos, a burrito bowl, and chip & guac. Highly recommend. What a gem! I am a huge Mexican food fan, and I am really picky. Most "mexican" places have resorted to non-realistic Americanized tweaks: boring choices, melted cheddar cheese, duller flavors. Even more so if you are looking in a small midwestern town. I didnt have much hope but saw the menu had some promising items (elote, sopes, cotija cheese). This place was really good! The venue is a little unusual, seems like a converted ice cream shop with an awkward entryway ( hint: go in the inner door to reach the cash register and order). But the food we got was cooked to order and was excellent. High quality, authentic ingredients. Everything was excellent, my only disappointment was that I didn't like one of the three salsa choices that gave us (the red). I had the sopes which were crispy and probably the best I've ever had (including Mexico). The meat was Al pastor and carnitas, both good. Overall highly recommended and this place would be successful in any big city. I hope the town here recognizes what they have. read more

Surprisingly delicious, given that I haven't been able to find Mexican food anywhere near this good up in the Twin Cities. We got the burrito bowl, sopas, and a barbacoa street taco to share and were impressed by all three. I was driving through Black River Falls and thought I'd give this place a try. AMAZING FISH TACOS! Very fresh, authentic and homemade. They were small street tacos (duh, the name of the place) and two tacos totally filled me up. It came with delicious green and red sauces on the side (great touch to add these).
