First time I've been here since it changed from Adanbertos a year ago. They've updated the inside and the service is excellent! Lucked out going on taco Tuesday. They have shredded beef, shredded chicken and ground beef crunchy tacos for $1.50 each. They include shredded lettuce and cheese. The chicken was very saucy, the ground beef had great beef flavor and the shredded beef was dry but had the best taco shell. Good sizes that can't be beat at the Taco Tuesday price! I also tried the bean and cheese burrito for $7.50. It was large and had a good amount of cheese. Loved it! The Salas and chip bar is help yourself and a total bonus in my book! I like a lot of Salsa and theirs are excellent! I will be back for more! read more

1st time trying out this Chain, and why not? Since it's Taco Tuesday! Well there's 3 options for the $1 Tacos, they are all fried, we ordered the shredded beef ones and the ground beef. Both looks exactly the same in the box. All tacos comes with meat and shredded lettuce. It's a $1.50 if you ask for Salsa. We also ordered the Asada fries, and 2 orders of churros. Here are the Cons... The tacos were dry and flavorless. The ground beef ones were a little bit better but not much. Even adding the salsa on didn't taste any better but can't really complain because they were $1 each. The Asada fries, I ordered a half size but were charged a full order. This was the best dish, the churros were no where to be found. It was difficult to order at the drive thru as the speaker was awful and the order taker seems to have a really hard time understanding the order which explains why the order was messed up and Churros were missing. My son and I stopped in tonight to try their Taco Tuesday special $1.00 crunchy tacos! We had great service and the food was fresh and my teen son loved his chicken taco so much he went and bought a 3rd one too! They have a chip and salsa bar inside if you dine in. The salsa is made fresh and there's a variety from mild, medium, avocado salsa and spicy. We loved the avocado salsa and the medium spicy was great on the tacos! Because of the exceptional service and great tasting and fresh food we will be back to try other items! But you have to see for yourself! This taco place took the place of Alberto's so we decided to give it a try late night. The food is good. It has been fresh every time we have visited no matter the time. We got the carne asada fries which are super good. We also got it with half chicken and the chicken was really flavored. My favorite thing about this place is the cream filled churros. I hate this location. Poor customer service. They are the only one that every-time I go there it's always some issue. They will not sell bean tacos without a discussion.No bean tacos on taco Tuesday. I don't eat meat but to have taco Tuesday tacos they won't sell without meat. So I order the plate w/bean tacos rice and a bean and was told I could not have a bean taco. With that plate plate either It's just ridiculous. But I guess too many vegetarians ordering bean tacos is what this location is going to dig their heals in on and refuse to sell. We're just back from three months on the road in our RV. And who wants to cook that first morning home? So I head to my nearby Ad**bertos location. And they're gone !!! A giant orange building sits in its place. They do still serve breakfast burritos so we tried the bacon and Chorizo versions. They hit the spot, and their prices are lower than what I paid before leaving. $9 now v. $11 in late Spring. The hot sauces did seem a lot hotter, the bacon crispier and less plentiful, no discernible change on the Chorizo version. Not bad but I miss the old place... read more

I was super hungry and wanted to get a quick low-key bite for lunch but was on a budget. I saw they had a $1 Taco Tuesday special so that fit perfectly for my cash budget plus I love tacos!! Also enjoyed the salsa bar , everything tasted fresh and well made. After reading "Ken's" negative 2 star review on Taco Tuesday I felt even more motivated to post my review. First off the meat in my tacos was perfectly fine, even if there was some gristle or fat that's ok..its traditional Mexican style to include flavorful fatty cuts of meat, especially in Birria, but I didn't notice any issues with my tacos... in fact they were crunchy and delicious!! Secondly, with rising cost of dining out I was SO GRATEFUL AND THANKFUL for this awesome deal!! Yes I got what I paid for. Delicious crunchy tacos for a buck each with a side of rice and beans. I just don't understand why he felt to post such a long drawn out negative review of a new local restaurant selling $1 tacos. I came here before with the old business but the vibe was grimy. Surprisingly good value, especially on taco Tuesday! The tacos were bigger and better than I expected. For the $1 tacos on Tuesdays, you can choose from ground beef, shredded beef, and shredded chicken. I tried all three and I will say I wasn't a fan of the ground beef, but no one's going to a Mexican restaurant for the ground beef anyway. The chicken was the best - far better than any fast food around and much cheaper. They're open until 1am so they're a great late night taco option in Folsom. read more

Ok, but not great. We've eaten here twice. Tacos are ok. I don't think they have option to order soft shells, which I prefer. My husband ordered nachos with ground beef and they didn't even look like nachos. The cooked ground beef was just poured over the top of everything else. Hardly and cheese and grease pooled in the bottom of the tray from the meat. The location is an old Taco Bell, so it's 'cold' inside.
