Shredded Beef Tacos $1 On Taco Tuesday. Need salsa very dry inside.

1st time trying out this Chain, and why not? Since it's Taco Tuesday! Well there's 3 options for the $1 Tacos, they are all fried, we ordered the shredded beef ones and the ground beef. Both looks exactly the same in the box. All tacos comes with meat and shredded lettuce. It's a $1.50 if you ask for Salsa. We also ordered the Asada fries, and 2 orders of churros. Here are the Cons... The tacos were dry and flavorless. The ground beef ones were a little bit better but not much. Even adding the salsa on didn't taste any better but can't really complain because they were $1 each. The Asada fries, I ordered a half size but were charged a full order. This was the best dish, the churros were no where to be found. It was difficult to order at the drive thru as the speaker was awful and the order taker seems to have a really hard time understanding the order which explains why the order was messed up and Churros were missing. Definitely was not a good first experience

Happy face after a great meal

Amazing customer service! Came in and was greeted by friendly staff. Allowed us to take our time ordering, as was our first time. Very accommodating as my family have unique palates. Very clean and get to serve yourself chips and salsa. Received our food and it was visually appealing and so GOOD, can taste authenticity. Will return and recommend

What's in this photo? Mainly potatoes.

Staff are friendly and the food comes out quick in the drive thru. However, their bacon breakfast burrito is 75% French fries, 10% bacon and 15% egg. Cmon now. $9.69 after tax. It's still a decent deal as breakfast burritos go, but you see what you get.

Which she said was the chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, and cheeseburger. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, fries, and chili. She asked if we wanted a combo or separate cheeseburgers. He relied no combos. When we got to the window to pay, the amount was $8 more than we anticipated. After we got the food, I checked the bag and asked for the receipt. We saw that instead of charging 2 for $7 for the Dave single cheeseburgers (which was the special), we got charged $7 each. Oh no! So we asked for a refund for the difference. The cashier stated that we ordered wrong because we declined the combos. I'm confused at this point and asked for $7 back. She gave us $7 but kept our receipt. The actual amount owed back to us was closer to $8.63. But we took the $7 and moved on. And the Dave's singles were the tiniest Dave's single burger I've seen. They seem to be jr sized patties just fancied up with lettuce, tomato slice, and onions to pass off as a Dave single. Ugh.

First of all the burgers have substantially deteriorated in quality and size. What was once a healthy sized triple is a pathetic 3 patty burger. Doing some research, my inclination was correct in that the burger patties have reduced in size by 25% over the years! With so many other burger options, they've lost another customer. The service at this location was mediocre at best. The restaurant itself was clean but remains the standard Wendy's environment.

Well, the McDonald's closed down but I spied a Burger King across the way. I ordered a cheeseburger with custom toppings, got a small fry for $1 with the app and a free onion ring from rewards. Add in a medium coke all for $6.48. What a deal. Was the food good? I have aBK near my house that I rarely go to. It's not my favorite chain. However, this meal was great. Service was excellent at the drive-thru. The burger had that nice flame grilled taste, was piping hot, as were the crispy fries and onion rings. Drink was perfect. So yes fast food sometimes deserves a five star rating, this meal brought me Back to my childhood and was a great road meal. I was headed to Burger King but changed my mind when I eyed Taco Express across the parking lot. Well I spotted a large inflatable shaped as the Taco Express character waving his arm. As to wave us over. He was so darn cute. It definitely caught my attention and peaked my interest. Next thing I know I was in the drive thru looking at the menu. It was Tuesday, the special of the day was $1.50 crispy tacos. The meat choices were chicken, ground beef, and beef. I ordered four of those, a side of rice, and chips n salsa. The total with tax was $12 something. The green salsa had a spicy kickyness but without the heat. The red salsa had a lingering, bold hot spiciness. I tried it and it burned. The tacos weren't bad at all. The meats weren't greasy. The taco shells were fresh fried, without the greasiness. Also for the price I was envisioning small or mini sized tacos, but pleasantly surprised that they were regular sized. No skinny minis. Plus they didn't skimp on filling the taco with the proteins. They were topped with shredded cheese and lettuce. The person taking my drive thru order was great. Patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. The order came out nicely packaged and with accurate items.

Now here's what made it even better--this used to be a Taco Bell back in the day, so let me just say... the taco energy in this building is deeply rooted. The tortilla spirits were already working overtime before I even walked in. I stepped inside, got greeted right away, and placed my order for carne asada tacos and a drink. Simple. Efficient. Exactly what the pre-movie mission required. But here's where things got impressive... I swear the second I paid, my food was basically already waiting for me like it had somehow known I was coming. And unless I missed someone hiding in the back doing ninja-level prep work, I'm pretty sure the young lady up front was running the whole operation. She was taking my order, working the drive-thru headset, handling everything, and still keeping it smooth like it was just another regular day. That kind of hustle deserves respect. Now let's talk tacos. These carne asada tacos came out hot, flavorful, and straight-up comforting. The kind of flavor that doesn't taste like "fast food trying to be tacos"--nah, these tasted like somebody's grandma would absolutely approve. And if the food gives "abuela would nod in silence and keep cooking," that's a compliment of the highest order. Every bite hit. The meat had flavor, the tacos were put together right, and for a quick stop before a movie, this absolutely overdelivered. The place was easy, the service was fast, and the whole stop felt like one of those hidden little wins you're glad you trusted. In all, Taco Express did exactly what it needed to do... Quick. Flavorful. No nonsense. Strong taco ancestry. And honestly, if this building was once a Taco Bell and has now evolved into this... that's character development. Will I be back? Yeah... because movie plans and tacos are a dangerous combo.
