Huevos Rancheros w house potatoes. You can get rice and beans instead if preferred.

Came in for first time today for breakfast. We were warmly greeted and seated right away. Chips and salsa were good! Very clean with nice tables chairs and booths. There is a nice porch with outdoor seating too. We tried the Heuvos rancheros and the tres leches French toast. The huevos had a very good flavor, I was pleasantly surprised just how good. We got corn tortillas and house potatoes with it. The tres leches French toast was super good! Melt in your mouth and came with the tres leches to dip your bites into that was delectable. It wasn't over the top sweet, it was perfect. I even used the tres leches for cream in my coffee and that was good too! The coffee base, what ever they use has a great flavor. We were served by Pedro who was very kind and attentive, checking on us often making sure coffee and salsa was plentiful. He gave us suggestions and answered questions about the menu items. We will definitely be back!

Ceviche is excellent! I recommend the habanero salsa with it. Staff and food were wonderful.

This is an awesome new little spot! We came for breakfast. I got the veggie omelette and my son got the American breakfast with a pancake and french toast (special order and they were very nice about that) along with bacon and scrambled eggs. Our server, Angelica, was so attentive and nice. The food was very good with generous portions prepared with care. My very picky kid ate everything on his plate!

Carne Asada super burrito with green sauce

My husband and I agree that this is one of the best Mexican restaurants we've visited in quite some time. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Our server was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our meal. I ordered the carne asada super burrito with green sauce, and my husband had the molcajete. Both dishes were flavorful, fresh, and absolutely delicious. If you're in the area and craving great Mexican food, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The food and service were great. We'll definitely be back.

Stopped in here for lunch today and didn't know what to expect. We were greeted warmly and shown to a nice table, it was a hot day, but the air-conditioning was wonderful. Everything was clean and nice. We ordered the special, seafood molcajete! It was absolutely wonderful. Filled with wonderful seafood and a delicious sauce with warm rice and tortillas on the side. It was enough for two of us for lunch. The servers were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Came here for breakfast Saturday morning, and everything was delicious! The trio chilaquiles was a special, and they were probably some of, if not, the best I've ever had. The service was also great. Coffees and waters were regularly and quickly refilled, the staff was so nice, and it was overall, a great experience. Definitely worth a visit!

So awesome. Food was spectacular. Get the mixed shrimp steak molcajete fajitas. Comes with this awesome mexican melted cheese on top and beans rice

We were meeting a friend and they had gotten a table for us before we arrived, but it wasn't busy and there were plenty of tables available. We're glad we had a chance to try Cantina Pedregal before it changes into Nixtaco- although now having been to both you're going to have delicious food either way. The restaurant is beautiful and whoever did the interior design was so thoughtful with the furniture, colors and ambiance. It's very warm, welcoming and calming inside. A great date spot or place for a meeting. The lunch menu has a good variety of options, and is broken down into smaller bites/appetizers, salads, main plates, and then sides. It's a nice spot to share dishes so you can try more items and share the sides. We ended up getting the chips and salsa ($7) with an extra salsa ($4), Grilled Black Half Chicken ($23), and Fideo Seco ($14). Our friend got the Carne Asada Tacos ($24), Refried Beans ($12), and Red Rice ($10). The sides were shareable and needed, since the entrees came on their own. Our friend added some of the beans, rice and Fideo Seco on their tacos and our chicken did come with some tortillas to make our own tacos or eat on it's own. Everything was high quality and flavorful. The Fideo Seco was surprisingly my favorite item. It is vermicelli pasta with sofrito, chorizo and egg yolk and was very tasty. The chicken was good, but hard to eat without using your hands to get all the meat off the bones- the messy hands didn't seem to fit with the restaurant vibe but we loved the flavor and how tender the chicken was. The salsa was good and the chips were fresh, but it seemed like a lot to charge $4 for the ramekins of salsas. I would pass on chips and salsa next time. Overall it was a great vibe, high quality food and good service. Definitely more of a treat meal or great spot to impress a date or business client. For a regular chill meal it felt a bit expensive, but I think they're going for more upscale.

We ordered drinks my favorite one was called Sol Dorado . I wish they had more Gin drinks I had the only Gin drink called Brissa Del Mar but ,I was not a fan . For food we ordered the Caesar salad , sweet potato which was amazing. For our main dish we ordered the cazuela (Asado De Puerco ) which is pork stew it came with handmade corn tortillas . We made some delicious tacos out of it . I had to get dessert they all sounded so good! We got the Smoked Pumpkin Tres Leches delicious. Overall, it was a different experience the food is a bit different and I'm Mexican BTW but it's from a part in Mexico called Monterey every part in Mexico has their own way of cooking . The menu its self is different you order to share . It's a little on the pricier side but the portions were a good size for sharing . I feel like for the main entree there is not that many options on there wish to see more . Overall we had a great time . Great food and ambiance.

I ordered a small lengua taco and carne asada nachos. The taco was just okay. The meat was cooked perfectly but there was no real flavor. Sadly, the chips for the nachos seemed stale so I attempted to supplement with the chips from the salsa bar only to have them also be stale. The nachos had an odd fishy flavor to them, perhaps coming from the refried beans. There's no real flavor. The meat was lacking and the cheese that was used was not flavorful. I didn't read or listen carefully enough that the skirt steak with sauteed onions and bell peppers are covered in Spanish sauce. The sauce is actually quite tasty with a little kick. I used it and the salsa to flavor the black beans. However, I really just wanted grilled steak. I should have ordered steak fajitas, a grilled steak burrito or quesadilla, or a carne asada plate. The Steak a la Chicana was a generous portion, which is definitely 2 meals for me. Cilantro rice wasn't anything special. The SWEET CORN TAMALITO is yummy comfort. Choice of beans: refried beans, black beans, or pinto beans. I suspect refried beans is the tastiest option. El Tapatio would be a great gathering place for friends and family.
