Stoped in to try the food under the new ownership and definitely impressed! We were seated right away with a couple tables still open. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nice add to the Folsom restaurant scene. Natoma could be one tequila row if all the New Mexican establishments get liquor licenses. The chicken fajitas were very good and so were the tacos. The Mexican rice and beans were not as flavorful as I like but I am guessing they were not as unhealthy as other establishments. Tried this cute Mexican restaurant today after church and it was delicious. I had the cheese enchilada, crispy ground beef taco with rice and beans. My husband had the chille relleno, beef enchilada with rice and beans they were both very good. We tried the horchata and pinacolada aguas and they were very good and refreshing. The service was great and the restaurant was nice and clean. I definitely recommend and next time I will try the seafood! read more

Visited this place because we saw it on TikTok and had good yelp reviews and so glad we got to try this place. It is certainly one of the best Mexican restaurants in Folsom and in the area. The food was good. The chile relleno is the best one I've had in all of California in the 3 years I've been living here and eating throughout the state on my weekly travels. The refried beans were good and the rice could be a bit better. Tasted like it had been reheated. Nevertheless the aguas Fresca horchata was delicious and had good flavor. Overall the ambiance is a smaller old bar venue that was transformed into a restaurant. The service was good and will be back. read more

We went early on a Friday morning and it wasn't busy at all. They have a small-ish menu but great service and delicious chilaquiles, one of my personal favorite breakfast items. I subbed the side of potatoes with beans and rice and it was the perfect breakfast date dish with my husband. Very fresh tasting salsa ranchera and yummy beans. My husband and I had the best experience here! We both ordered chips and guacamole for the table, and the guac was perfect. We each ordered the super burrito, and it was absolutely delicious! It was filled with beans, rice, and your choice of meat, then topped with your choice of red or green sauce, cheese, and pico. The burrito was HUGE--I couldn't even finish mine! The best part, though, was the service. Everyone was so kind and incredibly attentive. Our drinks were never empty, and they were constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Came in for first time today for breakfast. We were warmly greeted and seated right away. Chips and salsa were good! Very clean with nice tables chairs and booths. There is a nice porch with outdoor seating too. We tried the Heuvos rancheros and the tres leches French toast. The huevos had a very good flavor, I was pleasantly surprised just how good. We got corn tortillas and house potatoes with it. The tres leches French toast was super good! Melt in your mouth and came with the tres leches to dip your bites into that was delectable. It wasn't over the top sweet, it was perfect. I even used the tres leches for cream in my coffee and that was good too! The coffee base, what ever they use has a great flavor. We were served by Pedro who was very kind and attentive, checking on us often making sure coffee and salsa was plentiful. He gave us suggestions and answered questions about the menu items. I ordered the chile relleno plate which was very good. The chips and salsa were also very good. My husband ordered the chicken burrito which wasn't that great. I ordered a jalapeño margarita which was probably the worst margarita I've had. Served luke warm and watery. I asked for a beer to replace it. We're becoming regulars. We stumbled upon this place on our way to Planks. Our kids fell asleep and we didn't want to deal with parking. So we swung but and ordered to go. And we've been coming back every week now. The food is absolutely delicious. I always go with the quesa Birrias. And my husband something new every time. Wife and I just came here for breakfast and we were not disappointed!! The ranchero omelet and the tres leches French toast were amazing! Not too salty and not too sweet but packed with flavor and rich. The server was very attentive and kind. This is an awesome new little spot! We came for breakfast. I got the veggie omelette and my son got the American breakfast with a pancake and french toast (special order and they were very nice about that) along with bacon and scrambled eggs. I went there for my weekly dinner with dad. We drove by and are so glad we stopped. We ordered the quesabirrias and the carnitas quesadilla. Both were excellent. Lots of tender meat cooked really well. The consume for the birrias was very flavorful and had big chunks of meat in it. One pro-tip: ask for green sauce with your quesadilla. This is a very nice restaurant with quality fresh food. The location has been updated with new decor, new paint, and tables. The meal I had was a chicken taco with rice and beans. It was all very tasty and slightly spicy, which I like. I met the owner, Pedro, who is quite friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service. This location is the former home of La Rosa Blanca, which moved to Bidwell Street. The menu prices are slightly higher than what Rosa Blaca offered, but the quality of the food is accordingly higher too. This restaurant is positioned to be one of my favorite places to eat.
