The al pastor was mostly fat or gristle, but it did come with pineapple. You must order and pay for your food first then they bring it to you. You must also secure your own plastic eating utensils and napkins from the salsa bar. Speaking of the salsa bar, the salsas were bland. The best thing at the bar was the lime. The margaritas were very sweet. They come premixed. The worker adds a bunch of ice to a cup, then fills it with the margarita mix. The margarita will sneak up on you. Worst tacos I've ever had. I tried a steak, fish and pork taco. They all lacked flavor. The fish taco had a bunch of cabbage and was smothered in an unflavored sauce. The fish had more dark meat than white. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Just went here last night with my brother and some friends and it was great. As usual, I got two fish tacos - amazing as always. While not the best food ever, I think this is a great place for lunch. It's pretty good and it's fast. I wouldn't go for dinner, but for lunch, I'm a fan, especially since there's really nothing decent close to Hopkins (at least that I'm aware of, being a non-Charm city native). This is probably Taco Fiesta's greatest advantage, it's the closest fast food to the theater, surrounded by a sea of expensive chain restaurants designed for the tourist hordes. We were underwhelmed by the burritos (fish, carnitas). Since we don't live in a border state with decent Tex-Mex, we can only say "not as good as Chipotle" (Chipotle being the standard to which we hold all Mission-style fast food burritos in these parts). It is like fast food restaurant with a bar. The service was sub par and the food was not that great. Granted it was fresh, the portions were ample and the taste was O.K. However, I was really disappointed to find that they only have soft tacos. Me, I prefer crunchy. I might go back and try the enchiladas.
