I had a really disappointing experience at Taco Hombre. The girl who took my order made several mistakes throughout making my order and i suspect may have been under the influence i believe her name was april. The service felt disorganized and unprofessional. The worst part was finding a hair in my food, which completely ruined the meal. Based on this visit and seeing that others have had similar issue, I don't think I'll be returning until things improve. read more

The cheese was 100% the same liquid cheese they get from a can and use on concession stand nachos, Rico's brand i believe, that taste is unique like no other. My mother ordered steak fajitas and they came out just as oily, i don't think I've ever seen that thick a coating of oil on chicken or steak before. Unfortunately the oil didn't taste like very high quality oil, possibly vegetable or canola oil, sits heavy in the stomach post consumption. To be completely honest the food is very underwhelming overall, especially for the price, our food came out to around 140 not including tip for 2 kids drinks, an agua fresca, nachos, enchiladas (these were fine but not note worthy tbh), chicken nachos (fine not noteworthy), kids taco, and 2 fajitas. To be completely 100% honest this is a great spot for people who have never had real authentic mexican food, or if you're starving. We dont plan on coming back
