Plenty of parking, nice ambiance, and family friendly restaurant. There is a drive through as well. Food is pretty good and friendly service. However, waiting time is pretty long due to a small staff.

Beans were not smashed as normal nachos would have it. There was hardly any beef as the picture shows, that was the only beef it had. There some weird sauce on the bottom layer of nachos. Wilted lettuce, all I have to say is that whomever owns the restaurant or their cook is not of Mexican heritage or has NO clue what Mexican food is composed of. Another thing that young dirty blonde waitress should not be waitressing with that atrocious attitude of hers. I really hope the manager Minerva reads this so they can send their personnel to a customer service workshop and hire a cook that knows how to cook authentic Mexican food. Last picture is of how real authentic nachos should look like. Nachos are from Jaliscos Taqueria from Houston, Tx.

I read the 1 star reviews with laughter. Really? The food is amazing and the place is charming. The 1 star reviewers take themselves too seriously. Michelle was our waitress and is the granddaughter of the owner and soon to take over. I had been craving tamales and with their chili, cheese gravy it was just what the doctor ordered. We had fajitas, tamales, enchiladas, puff taco, guacamole, chips and salsa, and Refried beans. Michelle brought out the homemade sauces that was a great addition to the meal. Wow, it was all delicious and I'll be back. Friendly quick service and for the price, what a deal.

They have just about every type of seafood you could want, including mahi-mahi, red snapper, grouper, tuna, salmon, flounder, swordfish, amberjack, cobia, catfish, shrimp, crab, oysters, scallops, crawfish, lobster, and so much more. It's the perfect place whether you're planning a seafood dinner or just want to browse everything they have to offer. Besides the amazing seafood, they also carry a huge variety of seasonings, spices, seafood boils, sauces, marinades, breading mixes, frozen items, and other specialty foods that make it easy to prepare a great meal at home. You can find almost everything you need in one stop. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked quickly even though the store was busy. The market was clean, organized, and well stocked, making it easy to find what I was looking for. The quality and variety are hard to beat, and the prices are very reasonable for such fresh seafood. They're open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, which makes it convenient to stop by whether you're a local or visiting Pensacola. If you're anywhere in the area and enjoy seafood, Joe Patti's is absolutely worth the visit. It's one of those places you'll want to come back to every time you're in town.

Do not get…read moretheir seafood gumbo. it's horrible! we spent nearly $50. on 2 qts of some slimy soupy disgusting brown slush. the rice they gave us was under cooked and crunchy. you had to search in the brown slime to find hardly any seafood. supposedly there was some okra in it, you could find a few bits of that. I guarantee there wasn't enough okra to make that mess slimy. I've had the seafood gumbo from Joe Patty seafood restaurant and there is no comparison. That is why we thought we would give this place a chance. Maybe the other food is eatable, can't speak to that. Also, they charge a $4, service charge, we preferred to leave a cash tip in the jar at the register instead of on the CC. Did not expect the service charge, maybe it's written somewhere. If the food hadn't been so disappointing and expensive, we wouldn't have been so offended. Maybe if we had gotten fried fish maybe our review would not be so bad. We definitely do not recommend this restaurant!

Our family was passing through Pensacola, looking for a good place to grab a bite "with a view"…read morenear downtown. We found Jaco's and it didn't disappoint. We started with the fried green tomatoes. Amazing. We've been on a .mission to find the best Fried Green Tomatoes and these might just be the tops in the south! They came out piping hot, crispy (not soggy) on the outside, firm green tomatoes on the inside. The microgreens, balsamic drizzle with dollop of goat cheese elevated this dish even further. The blackened Mahi fish tacos were so incredibly flavorful and fresh. I loved that everything is fresh and made in-house. The shells, the mango salsa, the chipotle sauce and the blackened Mahi were all so fresh and worked so well together. My family got the margarita flatbread pizza and caprese salad. The flatbread pizza was crispy, light and fresh. The caprese came with a wonderful pesto that accompanied the garden ripe tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and balsamic. The service was a little swamped (stressed) as they were super busy during a weekday lunch. However, they were hustling and working hard to serve us... so can't really complain. Really can't say enough about this place. Great views from the pier, incredibly fresh food with a crew striving to take care of its patrons. One of the best places we've eaten at in the area. We definitely plan to be back.

Once we were seated, our server came and took our drink order and greeted us. She then told us about the specials they have and gave us some good recommendations. We started off with Jaco's guac and salsa. We were expecting them to be separate but it was really good being together. The homemade chips made it even more delicious. I wish there was more guac since was the star of the show! We then ordered the Blackened Mahi Reuben and Jaco's Blackened Fish Tacos. The Reuben was the best one I've ever had. The fish was cooked to perfection and the dressing on the sandwich was definitely homemade. The bread choice was on point because the sandwich never crumbled. The tacos were very flavorful and the pineapple sales a great compliment to the tacos. Both dishes were amazing and well portioned. We didn't have dessert because nothing on the dessert menu was to our liking but we will be back soon!!! Stop here for a relaxing experience in the area.
