We called in a takeout order on a Saturday night for six people. We ordered six entrées, two large guacamoles, and two large cheese dips. The person we spoke to on the phone said it would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. We ended up waiting 20 minutes once arriving at the restaurant for the food and it took 10 minutes just to get to the restaurant... so they should've just told us it would be ready in 30 . Because of the number of bags our friends who picked it up did not check to make sure everything was in there and upon arriving home, we realized that not only was there no guacamole at ALL and we had ordered two, there was only one cheese dip, and we had also ordered two of that. My burrito that I had was good, and I think my friends did enjoy their enchiladas... But then one of my friends who ordered a cheese enchilada, discovered that she actually had a beef enchilada instead. So for dietary reasons that was not good. My husband had the chicken mole which was supposed to come with I think poblano peppers and there were no peppers in his dish at all. We did get a ton of chips & lots of little salsa cups-their salsa is good. But due to the messed up ordering experience I can't go higher than 3 stars on my first experience. This was the first time using this restaurant to order online. I've never eaten here. I'm used to requesting what I want but this place has you order by telling them what you DON'T want so that was confusing. The order was supposed to be a steak burrito, which they were out of. Instead of contacting me so I could change my order they just made a chicken and shrimp burrito. My wife ordered hard shelled records with onions and tomatoes and meat. We went to the Navy Blvd location in Pensacola on the 14th Dec 25. Big Christmas party 20+ people and the establishment put a trainee on it. Disaster, meals were late or not at all food was not even close to good, and the staff really need to take English as a second language class! Tried to get a little compensation for the different errors from the staff, well that did not happen! It seems the dollar is the on thing on their mind, not serving customers and ensuring that satisfaction is delivered! Maybe the establishment needs a visit from health department for cleanliness or from law enforcement for legality of citizenship of employee! Came to town for Memorial Day weekend and they just so happened to be right next door to the hotel I was at for the weekend. My friend and I came in for the happy hour and the food. Our server was accommodating , helpful and very professional. The food was delicious. I got the Texas fajitas and my friend got the combination Isabel. We got some shots and 2 for 1 large margaritas for the happy hour special. Fast forward to the next day , I came in solo while my friend was out running errands and the same gentleman served me. I got the happy hour special again and opted for the chicken and beef verde enchiladas. Super good !! He ended up getting me a shot on the house and surprised me with it at the end of my meal. TL/DR: Good food, but poor service and overly loud entertainment. This used to be my go to place for good Mexican food, or at least as good as you can get it in Florida panhandle. I've eaten here dozens of times. Unfortunately, tonight, a THURSDAY night, it was so loud in the dining room that I couldn't even stay to eat. Apparently, this restaurant has just added karaoke night to its entertainment options, but even more unfortunately for everyone, that karaoke is in a dining room that is large and spacious, and very, very echoing, which is not a good fit for karaoke. People with sensory issues should definitely avoid this restaurant, especially on Thursday night, because of this. I don't know whether it was because it was a busy night, or because the server at the bar was incompetent, but not only did I have to leave because of the overwhelming loudness of the karaoke, but they screwed up my to go order and, here's the kicker: They now charge $.25 for each to go container. I don't care how good the food is--and honestly it's mediocre when you consider the quality of Mexican food anywhere but the panhandle--I'm not going to stay at a restaurant for poor service, PER CONTAINER TO GO PRICING, and a really really loud dining room. Not even overpriced two-for-one margaritas can make up for that. read more

Parking lot was full on a Thursday night...it was Halloween. We took this as a good sign. We got seated right away without having reservations. The atmosphere was very loud as there was karaoke going on and staff and many diners were dressed in costumes. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Our food was delivered quickly. This is where things go downhill however. The margarita was bland, almost watered down. The food was barely warm. We had asked for queso when the chips and salsa were brought to the table and it never came. I'm not sure if this was a one off due to extra people for Halloween or if this is par for the course with this place. We are from out of town so this was our first and only meal there. However, he forgot to ring up one entire meal completely. So the price we were told over the phone, eventually changed. I know take out food can go one of two ways, once it's home and on the table, but our meals were all different temps. It was like they did a mass make of one meal, and not the other.
