They worked with all of the food allergies present (peanut/treenut, gluten, dairy, and egg) with full confidence and options so everyone had a safe salad, meal, AND dessert! Anyone that has food allergies, or is close to someone that does, understands how amazing and comforting this is. Lisa answered all of our questions, and worked with our schedule to set up tastings (have I mentioned that the food was AWESOME?!). Each month, there's a new selection of around 15 meals. You can mix and match however you'd like--selecting different meals or multiple portions of your favorites. Pickup locations are available in North Liberty and Kathy's Pies in Cedar Rapids. Every meal arrives frozen with cooking instructions. We rarely have leftovers, but it's still more cost-effective than dining out. I appreciate that there's no subscription requirement, though you do need to order a few weeks in advance since spots fill up quickly. My husband likes to add extra seasoning to some meals for a bit more heat. I wish they offered a wider selection of non-dairy meals for those who are lactose intolerant.
