The beer list here is the only thing positive, thats it. The customer service was below average and the food was room temperature, if not cooler by the time we received it. The grilled Buffalo chicken sandwich had a texture like it was thawed, re-frozen, and thawed again. The rest of my family was far from impressed with their meals, and I'm now the sickest I've been in quite some time. The bathrooms were to the point that I didn't want to take my son in, and the floors throughout the restaurant were so dirty and greasy it was tough to walk straight. I normally go to the TM in PTC which is average, this place is a disaster and I won't be back. Looking through the history it's no surprise. I regret not looking through yelp before going. read more

It had been a few years since i had been to Taco Mac because of a previous bad exprience, but i thought why not give them a try for lunch. Sat down at 12:07pm, was not waited on until 12:15pm. Ordered Fish tacos. I had to leave the resteraunt at 12:45pm with out food. There was approx 10-12 tables seated and the waitress told me at 12:45 that there were only 2 more orders in front of mine. I had to take them off my possible lunch locations, you can't get food within an hour lunch. read more

It's not everyday that you have a great server who genuinely cares .... but I can say hands down that Marissa was awesome!! Very friendly, always had refills for us & constantly stopped by our table to make sure we had everything we needed (we even had a long conversation about our mutual love for cheese dip and salsa. Why is the service so bad at this place? The hostess wanted to seat me and my family at the bar or a high top table, I requested a booth or regular table. When we get to the booth there were grease smear marks on the bench seat and table, I asked for a towel to wipe it up and the waitress says "I got it" and used her hand. We ordered an appetizer and went to use the appetizer plates left on the table and there was tomato bits left on them (like they did not change them out from the previous customer). My food did not come out until everyone else was almost done eating their meal. To add insult to injury the 12 word insincere apology from the wait staff and the "Manager" tried to give me prompted this feedback. I did not want a discounted meal, which was not offered any way. However, the lack of customer service and the fact that the "Manager" shared this attitude is ridiculous. As we finished our meal our server offered the people who sat behind us the desert menu and not 2 minutes later she asked us if we wanted our WATERS to go. I always leave a large tip. The so called server did not earn it but I left one anyway. This is one of those places where you should tip in pennies. The poor service left a bad taste in my mouth I can't remember if the food was even good. I wish I could rate less than one star. read more

Third time bad, bad experience. There 9/10 Saturday night trying to eat with my wife on the patio area. Loud obnoxious table full of people, all employees. Absolutely the worst service I've ever had these people don't know what service means. I've been to this location several times hoping to receive better service than the last time every time they always disappoint with poor service horrible horrible people skills and they treat you like absolute s***. Even worse they know not how to treat people in general. Example: I went one day on a slow day I think it was Tuesday when I got there the girl I'm talking to and brought their had a baby she asked for a booster seat and did not receive one we asked twice more still did not receive one. Only after I asked four more times, get that that is 7 times total thsr we asked for a booster seat funally we received one only near the end of our meal. If you ask me that's absolutely ridiculous. Don't waste your time unless you are there for the TV's. The food is mediocre at best, especially the chicken wings. You wouldn't think you could mess up frying a wing and putting some decent sauce on it, but they do. I've given them about 4 chances now and no more, take my word or go find out the hard way. I had what should have been an enjoyable experience at Taco Mac ruined by a very rude and unprofessional manager, I was sitting at the bar watching a game when it was switched to a tv further down, making it difficult for me to see. I asked the bartender what happened and he switched it back . A few minutes later, however, it was switched again. I asked that it be switched back back as it was originally, but the bartender stated the manager was a fan of the game it was switched to and would not let him turn it back. I asked for my check and was about to leave when the manager (lance?) came and told me the tv's were pre-programmed and could not be switched (this after they had already been switched twice) When I pointed out i had been watching the game he became very rude. i suspect strongly that the change was due not to pre-programming as he said but to the manager's personal preference as evidenced by the bartender's comment. Yes , the game was playing on other tv's but I was already settled in my seat. Why should move just to accommodate the desire of the manager to see a certain game? What ever happened to customer service? I have gone to this taco mac many times but if this is how they treat customers, maybe it is time to find a new place to eat and drink. read more

April 21st I visited the Taco Mac of Newnan, GA. We arrived at around 7 PM. We were promptly seated with a group of 7 on that day. Our waitress was very polite and took our drink orders which took only a short amount of time. My friend and I also ordered appetizers of chips salsa and queso when the waitress took our drink order. Drinks arrived shortly and when they did arrive our group of 7 ordered. 30 minutes after we have placed our main entrée appetizers finally come out. We had expected a wait as we had a somewhat large group but not the extent of 30 minutes just for appetizers. During that first hour of being in Taco Mac I received one refill on my sweet tea and it wasn't even the waitress who gave me my refill the hostess came by and gave me one. After an hour we finally complain and the manager handles it promptly. In the next 10 minutes food is arriving finally, my wings were dry and warm at best and my French fries were soggy and cold. The manager gave us 25% off on our meal and the chips and dip were free, which was greatly appreciated, but they couldn't even correctly subtract 25% on the meals. After 30 minutes of fixing and fixing the checks for our group we finally pay. On the check I was finally content with and happy with came out to $7.80 yet when I finally handed the waitress my card she returned the check and it had said I had paid $8.29. I didn't care anymore I just wanted to be out of there. Overall a horrible experience at this Taco Mac and have had horrible experiences here before. I made a yelp account just so I could make this review. Still a 2/5 as management handled it well it was just the timeliness of everything that really upset me. read more

This is right down the street from our house- it's perfectly located between our place of business and our home. I REALLY want to like it.The problem is we've tried Taco Mac 6 or 7 times and it's always a train wreck. This restaurant is run so terribly it's obvious as soon as you walk through the door. The manager is a mess- I have spoken with him twice (Gary) came to our table the last time we were there (two plus hours and still didn't have the right food) and apologized. I explained to him I wasn't looking for a free meal- I just thought he should know all the problems with service and wait times and food times he had. He clearly didn't get it- he just wanted to get away from the table as fast as possible. Feedback was not something he wanted.There is no reason why it should take 20 plus minutes to get drinks-mine had lipstick stains on the wine glass. Why our appetizers should show up WAY after some of our entrees, why a hostess should hand me silverware- not wrapped in anything- WAY after our food arrived after I asked the server for it, That is just bad management- and it happens over and over and over. In fact I can't even reference ONE good experience we've had there. NO BUENO. My husband and I eat out at least 3 times a week. I have been to every restaurant in Newnan, this is the worst. Go ANYWHERE else- and that includes the questionable hibachi place right down the road...it may be a little dirty but the service is good and so is the food! read more

Absolutely one of my favorite sports bars ever! I've watched my Clemson Tigers there half the games this season, and the staff is very accommodating whether it's game day or not. Josh, the manager, will bend over backwards to make sure you have a great experience and will adjust tvs by request so all customers can get the game they want. The food always comes out correct, and they have good variety. Being able to sit down for a while, change a tv to the game I want, and have a variety of food choices makes this place great. The staff only makes it better by consistently checking on your needs and making an effort to get to know you as a regular. Thanks josh for a great Clemson season and experience! I go out of my way to come to this taco mac versus watching at home because the experience is worth it. read more

Had one of my worst dinning non pleasures ever, the food was good after they cooked it right, though when we addressed management about it, asking for a little discount . The manager asked how I ordered my food and I told him and he said that was the way that it was prepared and I told him that was wrong, this guy could not even look me in the eye, he talked over my shoulder and his attitude was like he just did not even give a . I asked to speak with the GM and was told no, so then he removes my meal and the gratuity. I feel that he screwed up again cause now he took money from the server and that was not right, Well I took care of the server and told him how much of an ass is boss was. Service is really pretty good. The food is usually good. Something bad has happened here lately. Not sure what but food was bad and cold. My wedge lettuce leaf was brown and shriveled so I didn't eat it. Fried chicken hard and cold and fries were cold and didn't get our order right. Didn't complain because the kids don't feel comfortable saying anything. 5:30 weekday should not be like that for sure. I parked on the side of the building. Saw a door at the end of the building I am assuming must lead to the kitchen because there were boxes and food on the sidewalk and ground around the door. If my crew didn't love this place so much I would not be going back for a while until they literally clean up there act. Still gave it a three star because the servers are still good. read more

Would've given 5 stars if they weren't out of the first beer I requested off the list and my kid's wings took longer to come out than the rest of our meal.
