Sat at the bar and ordered wings and a beer. The bartender was nice and took our order relatively quickly considering he was busy. Wings were served cold but since bartender was covered up we just ate them as we were in a hurry. 1/2 way through dinner could not get the bartenders attention for another beer. The manager, yes the manager, approaches a very "regular" customer a couple of bar stools over. He clearly saw our empty mugs and would not make eye contact as we tried to gain his attention. We left cash on the bar as we exited and tried to let the manager know that was an awful experience and he could not have cared less.... no wonder the dining room was nearly empty on a Thursday night. read more

The food here was great, but our server Maddie Sharpless had a terrible attitude towards my husband and I. She only came by our table maybe twice, and then slammed our receipt down on the table and just walked away. This server made us not want to come back to the Taco Mac location in Newnan again! We have friends, who have also had this server, and they told us almost the same exact situation happened to them, but when they put in their beer orders they never got them but were charged for them. When they tried to ask why they were charged she was already gone, and they had to talk to another server just to get it taken care of. Very unprofessional and do not think she should work there since it has happened more than once. I will be reaching out to cooperate about this incident. read more

Ordered a mushroom cheeseburger and the burger showed up with two mushrooms; very disappointing. When asked about the mushrooms, the employee said they are all made with two mushrooms. I guess I can't complain since the item on the menu states "mushroom" burger and I generously received two. The burger was put together in three pieces on a cold bun. I assume the cook cuts the burger with the spatula to check if it is done to your order; uses cheese to put it back together. Also ordered the original rubbery skin wings. Not too bad if you like eating rubbery skin. The sauce had a good flavor; like Frank's hot sauce. Best part of the meal; celery, onion rings and cokes. Don't know who the idiot was who served us, but it took a half hour to get 1 draught and a beer bucket. I went to order a second draught and it took another 20 minutes before we decided to up and leave. Mind you, the restaurant was not even half full. I asked for the check and said "just cancel drink because it's been 20 minutes". She just said "oh. Ok." And walked away. Her service was inattentive and slow. I hadn't been here in a long time. I was craving hot wings. The margaritas were perfect but the food was not. My chicken wings had a lot of "cooked blood" in them. Our chips for artichoke dip had so much salt that we couldn't wipe it off. My chicken wrap tasted like "smoke sauce". I was really disappointed. Our service was eh. We have eaten at several TacoMacs and have never had a bad meal until now. I have been here on 3 different occasions and both the service and food were great each time. This is a family-oriented sports bar with plenty of big screen TVs for viewing sporting events. I came in for their Thursday Pint Night. They feature a brewery and offer a free pint glass when you purchase one of the featured drafts. It starts at 5pm and my coworkers and I arrived around 6pm. We were immediately seated and informed there were no longer any pints. Pint "Night" was more like Pint Hour. We ordered chips and salsa as an appetizer and the salsa was great, but the chips were stale. Most of the food is overpriced and seasoned poorly. I ordered a steak quesadilla and a side of french fries. The quesadilla was half the size you would encounter at any mexican restaurant and twice the price and the fries were incredibly overseasoned. Like other reviewers: Taco Mac is consistently inconsistent with food/service. People really love their wings. I ordered a black bean burger patty on the bacon ranch burger but it falls apart when you pick it up, so maybe it should be wrapped halfway but it was good. This is my favorite local beer place. Tons of beer on tap and in bottles. Pint nite is Thursday so stop in for a free glass. Food is an ever changing mystery. It used to be great and then, for some reason, things started changing. Probably due to cost control. Good, but just not as much as it used to. We eat here about once a month (unless we go to the Peachtree City location) for the pint night (to get the free glass). They have a huge selection of beers, and it's nice to see my team play on the big screen. The food is hit or miss. If you're watching your weight, there are very limited options. I have had a problem with getting milk for my kids- we've often been given expired (by days) containers of milk. They correct the issue on the spot. We prefer going to Peachtree City though- better service, and they don't run out of the free glasses nearly as fast. read more

My wife and I walked in and were kindly greeted at the door, and promptly lead to a table on the patio (as requested) due to our service dog being with us. Server was quick to take our order, drinks took about 15 minutes to come out, just for a flight of 4 beers. They've got tons of beers on draft, which is really cool, because my wife and I love beer. (Who doesn't?) we got the queso as an appetizer (it was alright) a little cheap. My wife got a chicken salad and I got fajita chicken tacos. I was surprised to see that the ingredients for the tacos weren't your generic meat, lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes. But that they actually made them unique. I frequent this location 5 or 6 times a year. The last 2 visit have shown a decline in service. Not sure if they have new management there or what. Last night (March 31) we went there for dinner. We had 7 people total. 5 adults and 2 children ages 6 and 4. We got there at 5:00. They were at about 25-30% capacity. We had to wait 12 minutes for a table. Strike 1. When we get to the table not only did we have to ask for 2 children menus, we had to go and get them ourselves. Strike 2. We ordered the "beer of the month" to get their special glasses that night. I had to ask twice if we were going to get them or not. They have a habit of selling fast so we wanted to make sure we were going to get one. My wife ordered a beer from a bottle. She had to ask for a glass that took for ever to get and when we got it, it was dirty. I took it to the bar for a clean one. I asked the bar maid if she thought that was a clean glass and she sort or laughed it off saying it didn't look like it. Strike 3. There are Better places to spend my hard earn money . 4-23-16 Since writing this review, they emailed me about it. While they offered a coupon for our next meal there I elected to visit there without using anything that may point out that I had bad service once before. My wife and I went last week again to see if anything has improved. I am glad to say they were much better. We went at the same time of day as before and watched to see if any larger group with kids had to wait for a table which they did not. All and all this time they were much better. Hopefully the management stepped up to the plate here and gave some much needed direction to the help there. Keep moving forward and we will see you again. read more

We have all but stopped going here. The prices are high, the food is mediocre if you are there on a good day. We actually had a new manager come over and tell our group (that used to meet there every Thursday night) that we had to separate the two high top tables we had pushed together. Yes, for 3-4 years our group of ten or more pushed a few tables together and it was never questioned by anyone until the new manager shows up. I pointed out some tables pushed together in the other sections and he actually told us that it was allowed over there but not over here. OK genius. He actually began to argue. Finally, I told him that he needed to walk away because the tables were not being moved apart unless he was OK with our entire group leaving and me coming by to talk to the head manager that next day, the head manager who normally already has the tables pushed together and reserved for us when we arrive. He did walk away but continued to glare at me for the rest of the night which I actually found entertaining. Neither their service, food or prices are good enough for them to think it's ok for their undertrained managers to piss off the customers. I doubt we'll be back. read more

Great sports bar environment! Decent food and great drinks. We went Friday night for dinner and it was a good experience. I ordered the steak tacos, and they were good. Meat was flavorful and juicy. It came with Mexican street corn. I love corn, but honestly not my favorite. It wasn't very hot. The service was great, I must say! My kids had wings and fries, and they gobbled them down!
