I absolutely love this taco Mac!!! I go here at least every other week. I have had nothing, but good experiences. In fact this is not my closest one. I drive out of my way to come here. The food was really good, the service was horrible as is typical with Taco Mac whenever it's more than 50% full. It took 75 min to get a basic order of wings and chicken fingers - unacceptable!! Could have been totally resolved with communication to front hostess when sitting or waiter when ordering. I typically don't do this but this was hands the worst experience I've ever had in a Taco Mac and worst location ever. It took a while for our server (purple hair girl) which is understandable, it was me my friend and cousin we are servers as well so we understood that part. But here's where it all went wrong out drinks took forever to come out we ordered cocktails my cousin order her food to go it came out before ours did (dine in) she went ahead and paid upfront and left a good tip. She processed to leave after and me and my friend stayed behind our food finally came out , we asked our sever for some ranch bbq and hot sauce she got my friends order wrong they were supposed to be hot chicken fingers. Here we are waiting and waiting for the sauces to come out and nothing , we see her behind the bar on her phone chit chatting away with another coworker, it took 10 min for someone to acknowledge us I think it was a manager or idk but she had a navy polo on we told her our server disappeared that we hadn't been able to eat our food we needed our dipping sauces and water she was all smiley and was like yeah no problem but as she's turning away we see her role her eyes like wooow seriously mam what kinda of customer service is that the audacity. She then comes back and gives us what we asked our original sever comes back 5 min after that and asks "is everything wonderful" we barely acknowledge her. The food is simply gross. We had a pre game dinner at this restaurant 2/9 with several couples, and although the service was very good with all the separate checks, the food was terrible. I had potentially the weakest, worst Margarita of my life (and I am not young), as did two other women in our group. The spinach dip was undercooked in the middle and literally made me sick it was so creamy (in the mayo/sour cream way). My husband's grilled chicken tender entree had 3 average size tenders and a small portion of fries, plus he had a draft beer, all for $40 total plus tip!?!?!?! Later tonight, we found a local Mexican Restaurant (Frida's) in the same vicinity as this horrible chain, where we had more food and better drinks for much less money. The moral of the story, eat local always, avoid chains, and don't let people you don't know pick restaurants. read more

The wings are always good but, the service is continually horrible. Today was the coup de gras, as our order (placed at 2pm) took over 70 minutes to come out. The story ranged from "we lost the ticket" to " I dropped your food" depending on which person stopped by to give his/her version. A good spot for boozing and watching the game. I have wondered why this place has received a lot of negative reviews. It really is not that bad with the exception of some things here and there. With what I saw in other reviews people were concerned about how outdated and "dirty" the place was. Although the tables and chairs are beaten on and old put it in desperate need for a change doesn't mean there dirty. It means it's old and OUTDATED. Management does need to look into getting things changed up if they don't want to lessen the appearance of the restaurant. The food is pretty good, I've been here a few times and tried their nachos all the way, the queso and chips which was really good. The wings are good, not GREAT but they were good. The BBQ sauce they had for the wings was not really good and I love BBQ and it's hard to make me dislike BBQ. I liked the service however this restaurant on a Friday night is HOPPING! So be prepared to wait and don't be disappointed that your waitress or waiter didn't come in 2 minutes or less to gather your drink order. I observed for a good fifteen minutes and these people are moving. They don't sit on their behind twirling their hair. There are tons of waiters and waitresses running around dropping off orders, dropping off checks, picking up new orders and runners that help out a ton. This place is just so busy that it's so easy to fall behind. Simply enough it can be a hit or miss experience at this place. It's gamble you'll need to be willing to take and hope that you win. So this location keeps getting worse over the years, I love the large selection of beers but the food quality has slipped to levels worse than McDonalds. My wings and fries were ice cold, how does one mess up keeping fired food warm; of course Taco Mac. I handed a cold fry to the Manager who never apologized for the poor food quality but went to re-heat my food, which took 20 minutes. By that time everyone was done at the table eating and I had no desire to eat the sub par crap food. Is it really that hard to serve hot fries and wings, Taco Mac has really slipped to the level of inedible food and would recommend that everyone steer clear of this place. First time customer and expressed that at the door. Service was SLOOOOWWWW. Took over 30 minutes to get 2 sandwiches and 10 wings, the resturant was about 1/4 full. The wings were below average at best. Manager walked by our table 5 times in 30 minutes urea and didn't notice that we had zero food in front of us and had been there quite a while. I tried to get a beer with my husband on a nice friday night without the kids and a guy comes over asking us to see our ID's again and then denied us??? Excuse me? Don't get me wrong I love a good compliment and should feel flattered that I couldn't pass as 21 but at this point I just wanted a beer. The food is okay it's hit or miss every time I come I usually get the same wings and they taste different every time I come I don't know why the service is okay we got placed in the back room once and don't ever go back there we waited 30 min just to get drink orders and another 20 min before it came out then he didn't even take our orders until and hour and a half after being seated then we waited another 45 min to get out food and it was all wrong had to wait another 40 min for the new order it was ridiculous I've been to a couple taco macs and this is probably the worst I've been to the only reason I would come back is to drink the beer read more

Excellent wings and fries, which is the reason we go there. Tried other entrees before and they aren't worth the cost. Not sure why they did away with the basket and are trying to serve in a more "upscale" way. It's Taco Mac not the Four Seasons. Throw the wings and fries back in the red baskets and get back to being real. We have, however, decided to never eat in the restaurant again because the service is horrible. Off shift employees sitting at the bar eating, talking to servers, keeping them from doing their job. Servers grouping up and talking instead of waiting on their customers and earning their tips. I think there, they forget that tips are earned not deserved. Kinda sad. If you are going to watch football in a loud environment and get drunk with other patrons and have no where else to be...this is the place for you. We ordered Taco Mac via Door Dash a few nights ago and it was the best Taco Mac we've ever eaten! We order from here a couple times per month and for the most part, we are always happy. This last time though, since the stay at home guidelines, we were so impressed by the taste, quality and extra care in cooking all items extra crispy, just like we ordered. I prefer not to write negative reviews but after 2 consecutive bad experiences... My wife and I visited this TM several weeks ago, during football bowl season. It was moderately crowded. It took over an hour to get our food - a burger and an order of wings. The manager was very apologetic and took something off our bill even though we insisted it was OK. My wife, son, and I visited again last Sunday. The NCAA Men's Elite Eight game was over so the place had pretty well cleared out. The NCAA Women's Elite Eight game was on the main TVs. The place was probably 25% occupied. The sound on the basketball game was deafening. We asked the hostess if it was possible to turn down the volume. She said it was unlikely but she would ask. It was never turned down. We placed our orders in a reasonable amount of time. Again, it took almost an hour to get our food, even though it was not at all crowded. I had ordered a side salad with my Philly Cheese sandwich. I thought they would bring it first but I never requested that so I let it go. When we finally got our food, my wife's BBQ Chicken flatbread was good. My son's wings were supposed to be Chipotle barbeque but looked plain. He asked for some sauce on the side and it was delivered promptly. My food did not immediately come. When it arrived, a few minutes after everyone else received their food, there was no salad. The sandwich was cut in half. Most of the filling was on one half. The other half was 2/3 bread. We apparently don't need a calculator to count the give a sh!t$ on the face of whoever prepared that sandwich. I redistributed what was mostly a grilled onion sandwich rather than Philly Cheese. I ordered it with mushrooms. It came with small whole mushrooms. I guess it was too much to expect to have them sliced, as you would expect on a typical sandwich. I was halfway finished with the sandwich by the time my salad arrived. When the manager came to the table to discuss the situation, I was so angry I simply let my wife discuss it with him. I didn't want to say something I would regret. He took the salad off our bill. From my perspective, Taco Mac (any Taco Mac) has two consecutive strikes against it. It will be a while before I give them an opportunity for a third strike. read more

Update: They must have had a big change in staff because their level of service has taken a big turn for the worse. The host/hostess stand is usually manned by no fewer than four people who all just stand there and talk to each other rather than interact with customers. They have one guy who works in the front who is as unfriendly as you can get. The waitstaff also seems to have adapted a don't give a crap attitude. Not sure what happened here. We used to love this location but we'll be checking out other spots to see if their service is any better. We won't be back to this one any time soon. read more

This place needs to find and hire employees to bus/clean tables. There are always a half a dozen dirty tables when it's busy prolonging the wait and diminishing the comfort of your visit. The servers can be less than attentive as well...so all in all, this taco mac is lagging far behind. read more

Took 45 minutes to get my food. It's not even a game day. Then my food came out cold. Slow service all around. They used to have red cards to alert when you needed someone but I guess that was too effective so they took it away. Food here is very inconsistent. Appetizer quality varies greatly- stay away from the entrees entirely. It is a good place to sample a wide variety of beers. We've learned that service is very difficult to get if you're not a "regular". While walking to the bar last night a distracted waitress barreled into us- she laughed about her clumsiness to the bartender and walked off- didn't say a word to us or "excuse me". We sat at the bar to order- the bartender maintained a lengthy conversation with the customer seated next to us without acknowledging our arrival or taking our order. Its a cool place, fairly new Taco Mac. I come up here alot, normally seat at the bar, but had a table with my family, and the service was good. The UGA/AU game was on, so I wasnt expecting great service, cause I know its a pain when these teams play. I realllly love their Lemon Pepper Wings...probably some of the best I've had (and I've had alot of Lemon Pepper wings while living in Atlanta!). Their buffalo wings are yummy too. And I'm pretty sure they make their ranch dressing from scratch...I'm not sure what all goes into it, but I love it! I never new this place existed. I am from Southwest GA. I had a chance to visit here celebrating someone's birthday. My food was great. I had the Honey Barbque wings and chips and dips. However the staff and this include the manager needs to trained on customer service. The staff and give a two cents about how they treat paying customers. They have that attitude because the manager allows it(female). I did request the manager and I had to inform her about customer service. I have been in customer service over 10 years. The beer list is AMAZING, and the food was good too! I sat at the bar as I usually do when I dine alone and the service was very good, I ordered the steak and fries which was a very tasty skirt steak served obviously with fries and a salad. The steak was topped with sauteed onions and blue cheese, how can you go wrong there! And did I mention the awesome beer menu? I had a very good Scottish ale and for dessert I had a Left Hand Milk Stout which was the perfect way to end the meal. Will definitely come back when in the area again. read more

When my family and I went, it was in spite of the Yelp reviews. I was pleasantly surprised by both the food and the service. The food was basically on par with every other fast casual restaurant -- nothing spectacular, but definitely not terrible. The service, on the other hand, was easily 5 stars. It was a crowded night with lots of families with small children, but the staff kept everything moving. The kitchen got our food prepared quickly, and my server, with as many full tables as she had, never let us with empty drinks for more than a few seconds.
