Longhorn is a great place for an evening meal. It's my go-to after I've had a long day at work and don't feel like cooking. Each time it hits the spot and fills me up, while also providing me with leftovers for another nightly meal. The interior decor has a "country steakhouse" feel with dimmed lighting. There is no exterior seating offered here and there is plenty of parking as well as overflow parking areas that can be found in the accompanying H Mart shopping center. The servers are always very friendly and ready to make any accommodations when necessary here. This place can get busy at dinner time which can interfere in getting your order as quickly as you might on a day when it is less busy. I've tried a few drinks off their bar menu, as well as a few starters off their appetizers menu. I've never tried something here that I didn't like. My go-to meal however, is their Chop Steak. It's my comfort meal. A delicious chop steak slathered in an amazing mushroom sauce, and comes with two sides of your choosing - I always order a Caesar Salad and the Sweet Potato (loaded with butter and cinnamon sugar). Just left this restaurant. No bread offered. Salad came out right away. Then, our steak dinners came out while we were eating our salads. Our beer and wine came after we were eating our steaks. I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Gray today, and he truly made our dining experience exceptional. From the very beginning, he was attentive, warm, and personable. Gray went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us, and he anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Food is okay. Service wasn't really personnel. Our waiter was also working the bar and he was just in a rush the whole time. My husband and I ordered the Outlaw Ribeye, both medium rare. Both were over cooked. Mine was reeeeally over done that I had to ask for another one. They did bring me a new one. The new one was a lot thicker than my husbands (who ordered the same thing just didn't ask for his to be fixed) which I thought was weird his and my original were that skinny. I do appreciate that they fixed it and made it better and were apologetic about it, but honestly it was only better because I put in a complaint about it. You guys need to show that much care in every meal you make. The big difference between my new steak and my husbands really shows you guys just don't care unless there's a mistake. That's not the way to work. The corn and mashed potatoes were excellent, I will say. We have come here often and had good service & food was great. Tonight was the worse service and the food was raw for 3 out of 4 of us . We didn't get what we ordered the steaks were raw , the sides were not what we ordered . They never refilled our drinks, bused our table . While we were waiting we saw 2 other customers waiting some time just to pay their bill . The server brought back the last two steaks and sat them down and left . Upon slicing them open they were still raw . At that point we gave up and asked for them to go so we could microwave them. If we pay over $100 for a meal we don't think we should have to microwave it . It wasn't until I asked if they were short staffed until he finally acknowledge that he didn't know what was going on & it's been like that all day . We paid & quickly got out of there . As we left, we notice the manager was very idle at the hosted stand we mentioned the concerns . He was apologetic but hopefully he was jump I to assist the kitchen and servers because they obviously needed help . For whatever reason I try but I never fall in love with LongHorn. It's probably because everything is so easy and plain that it feels like just eating what you can easily make at home. Isn't it? Probably this is the best location I have been so far though. We tried the bone-in ribeye, the sirloin, the salmon, potato soup. The ribeye is a big, tender steak, I would go much lighter on the seasoning. The sirloin is a sirloin you can't expect it to have a great texture but it was ok. The salmon was ok too. My family went here for my dad's birthday and they all enjoyed their steak. I believe they got NY strip, prime rib, and the sirloin. All of the steaks here are about $20-$30. However, I asked for the Flo's Filet cooked medium. Instead, I got it basically rare. It was completely bright red inside. The server saw it and even she was shocked and said she didn't blame me for wanting to take it back. So I guess they cooked it for a bit longer, and when it came back, the outside was a lot darker, but the inside was still very red. Not medium at all. So they took my filet back again and finally, the third time, it was cooked to an appropriate medium. I mean, then, it was good. And a very reasonable price for steak at restaurants. But my family had pretty much finished their food by then and it was just a huge hassle. In addition, I would have liked if they offered it with a discount. Or I would have been happy with a free dessert. But nope, none of that. Three tries to get a cook right is a lot. I had something similar happen to me before at another restaurant, and this was a pricier steak at $60+. They took it completely off the bill. I wouldn't expect that from Longhorn, but a free dessert would have been nice! However, I couldn't fault the server since she was very nice and I still tipped generously. Overall, I would probably still recommend this place, just lower your expectations. My family of 5 has spent over $300 on steak dinners before, and it's nice to have a lower cost option of Longhorn. It wasn't too crowded since it was after 6:30 but we were seated quickly before 25 guests celebrating graduation arrived. We had a wonderful server who helped us get our order in before the crowd. A friend and I like to come here once a month or so, but I'm finally crossing it off my list. We've had really bad service the past 3 times we've come, and it's been different servers each time so it's not just a bad night. It seems like the food runners are doing their jobs just fine, but not coordinating with the servers. The past few times it's taken 10-15 minutes before anyone even comes over to take an order. The last time, the salads came out after about 5 minutes from a food runner, but the server hadn't even brought our drinks or bread yet. Then, the food came out like 5 minutes later, before we had finished the salads. That would be ok if it was hot and fresh, but my steak seemed like it had been under a heat lamp. It actually tasted like yesterday's steak and was like warm. I mean, not inedible, but definitely not fresh tasting. The 6 ounce steaks also appear to somehow continually be getting smaller. I get it, this isn't Morton's, but I still expect a reasonably fresh steak. In the past, I felt like despite being part of Darden Foods, Longhorn did it better than most chains. Not anymore, at least not at this location. It also seems like every time we come, the entire staff has turned over. I definitely don't recognize anyone, and it tracks with the experience, which seems like the place is constantly being run by brand new people who just don't really know what they are doing yet. It seems like they never really recovered from Covid. It's a shame, I used to really enjoy coming here. I'll give it a year or so to get it's act together and maybe give it one more shot after that. Good job keeping the prices reasonable so long as you don't order dessert. A slice of cheesecake is now $10.50, though I can't fault the location because I'm sure corporate sets the prices. It's disappointing because though there are tons of great restaurants in the area, there is definitely space for a mid-priced casual steakhouse. My wife and I go to Longhorn often. We find their filet as good as Brookwood, Redland's and J Alexander--- and a lot cheaper. Superior to Outback in steak, sides, and salads. All salads a re fresh and the dressings great. As far as service, we have never been disappointed. All servers are professional, friendly, and attentive. A very relaxing restaurant. As you know...Longhorn is a mid level steak house chain. Similar to Outback Steakhouse. I'm not sure there is much reason to get into too many details. It's a decent chain steakhouse. I have been to this location in Johns Creek about 4 times. No issues with finding it and parking. It's on a busy corner, well lit outside and part of a larger strip mall in suburban Atlanta. This location seems to be be quite well run. Service is always good, the place is always clean, and the food is consistent. Pricing is very good for this level of food. My kids love their chicken fingers. Like a lot of kids, chicken fingers are just their thing even when at a steak place. They are actually really good, crispy and juicy chicken tenders. Nice, fresh, white meat with delicious BBQ sauce and/or honey mustard. My wife and I typically share a Caesar salad, a loaded baked potato, and a medium-rare filet. Always served hot, fresh, and cooked just right. Being that it's a chain steakhouse, the price point isn't where I would take my kids often. But for a slightly nicer than normal treat this is a great great option. read more

Our daughter paid a bit extra and got a wedge side salad. It was HUGE!!! And she said it was delicious. The salads were fresh. There were five of us and we all ordered different entrees. I had half of a prime rib sandwich. The flavor was spot on. My husband enjoyed his ribeye. Our son had the chicken Parmesan. He is a growing teen and ended up taking some home. Our daughter tried the farmhouse chicken. It is a new item. The chicken was grilled and she said the flavor was really good. My mom tried the fried shrimp and she also enjoyed hers We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. The food was fantastic and the service amazing. I look forward to coming back soon.
