I also added sour cream, even though the photo for these tacos indicated that sour cream would already be included in the tacos either way everything was fine except there was no sour cream in the tacos. I wouldn't have tripped, but I paid the extra $.60 for sour cream. This has never happened before as I always go to the restaurant to order, so I'll just continue to do that and not deal with the delivery service. read more

I had my burrito delivered, so I can't speak to Taco Mell's shop or service, but I've only heard good things and my delivery couldn't have been faster. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? $14.00 may seem like a lot for a burrito, but this was a monstrosity filled with chicken, steak, and shrimp. I asked for the sauce in the side, they drowned the damn food in sauce( Sauce on the side should be a no brainer when delivering food) Gauc was $1 extra look at what I got Got No Cilantro, Onions, nothing that was advertised. The beef & chicken are both salty as hell! Can't even eat it. The shrimp is ok only 4 of them in the whole bowl. The Rice is mushy definitely not fresh. Shit was $21 for trash. When you go from a street corner to a packed store front you deserve all the praise and glory that come along with that accomplishment. Of course we had to get the three meat burrito. The portion size was enough for two meals even though I ate it in one. The three meat had chicken, carne asada, and shrimp. I always see people raving about this place in different social media platforms so I definitely had my eye and bookmark on this place. I get home Unravel my baby burrito, the first thing I noticed the tortilla itself on the outside was extremely greasy! Every bite I took I kept getting residue on my mouth and it felt like I was trying to consume Vaseline. The steak was salty and tough it tasted exactly like a Slim Jim, the chicken was good probably the best part because the shrimp was vague there was barely any in my burrito but I'm going to blame it on the fact that I had 2 other proteins in my burrito. I tried both the red and green salsa the red was caliente while the green had a slight kick both good. After following the Taco Mell IG account for the past few months I finally saw the restaurant when I was driving down Crenshaw one day and decided to stop to get lunch. It is right behind a gate where the city is doing construction so that is why I never noticed the location before. I ordered the chicken and steak burrito with everything and ordered my friend the 3 meat burrito bowl. The burrito was HUGE. Like HUGE huge. I was only able to take a few bites before I was stuffed, but it was really good! The meat was flavorful, the red and green salsas were on point. In hindsight, I wished I would have got the bowl because it was also a lot of food, minus the tortilla. I also want to try the nachos! The customer service was great and it was nice to see the restaurant being run by a group of black men. The parking is tricky because of the construction. I was lucky enough to find a spot on the street a few doors down, but it looked like people were parking in a lot around the corner and walking on the side of the building to get in. read more

It was a little hard to find the location, there's major construction going on next door ~ tall fences and large construction equipment. It's at the end of a row of shops, about a block from Leimert Park. The shop is pretty clean. ATM machine available at the entrance. Plan on getting your order to-go, they don't have any tables to sit at. We ordered 2 burritos - one 3 meat with cheese and a 2 meat with sour cream and cheese. 2 kool-aids. Came to $30 - that's a damn expensive meal I can't sit down and enjoy. This is why 4 stars and not 5 stars. Kool-aid was on the sweeter side, several flavors to choose from. I picked red AKA tropical punch. The burritos were good. Nice size, plenty of fillings. The meat was flavorful and well cooked, not overdone. I don't know it's just me but the carne asada tasted like it was seasoned with taco seasoning. But I like tacos, so... They do have a yelp check in offer. Ok so I've heard about this burrito for a while now and finally had the chance to stop by their spot. It's been open for a year and I had no idea. If you can't get to their spot or are short on time no worries they have an app where you can order for pick up and have a food truck; I follow them on Instagram and that's where I see the post for the store hours along with truck location and hours. They are located on Crenshaw maybe 1/2 to 1 block from Leimert Park. There is some major construction going on so the store front is hard to see but plenty of parking in the back and get this it's only .25 for 30 minutes WINNING. Now onto the food. They have several different options but are famous for the 3 meat burrito we're talking chicken beef and shrimp yeah I said it right 3 meat!!! The tortillas was grilled perfectly, full plump shrimp, but somehow they missed the hot sauce, or taco sauce or whatever they use. I missed that sauce because I think that would've give the tacos more of a Mexican-y taste. Otherwise, they were satisfying for lunch.
