I've been here twice, and honestly my experience was pretty mixed. The first time I ordered the birria tacos and they just weren't for me, something about the flavor didn't hit the way I expected. I decided to give it another shot and came back for the chicken tacos, and I'm glad I did because they were way better. Much more flavorful and enjoyable overall. Hands down some of the most authentic Mexican food I've had in my area. The birria tacos were incredibly juicy and flavorful, and the consommé was rich and perfectly seasoned. I'll be dreaming about these tacos until my next visit. The elote was perfectly cooked and slathered in creamy mayo, tangy lime, and salty cotija cheese for the ultimate flavor explosion." I have stopped by this shop twice, ordering the same birria tacos order. Both times I received this warm, meat and cheese filled tacos, with different sauces to dip into. It's very messy for me at least with the taco fillings maybe falling out as they give you more than enough to fill the soft shell tortilla. It's the kind of food that takes you out of the game. I have been seeing this tacos place for a couple of months and tried it today! I got a take out order! The staff was so nice and greeted me right away and handed me a menu. I got an order of the street tacos Al pastor and an order of birria tacos. Both come with three tacos and were DELICIOUS. I will definitely be returning for more. The tacos were stuffed with meat so it definitely was fulfilling and worth the price. read more

The birria tacos and beans and rice are AMAZING. I'm so happy I've found an authentic Mexican restaurant in the area and will be a regular from now on. I'm looking forward to trying their pozole next! They make everything fresh and you can tell by the quality. I called ahead to place a takeout order. Came here on a whim after traveling back from Texas. I say this part not as a weird flex but as how when I get back from Texas I usually am disappointed by the tacos back on the east coast however this place made me feel like I was eating tacos back in Austin again , the flavors of the fish tacos were amazing and the red salsa had a nice kick to it , and of course I had to try the churros which were fantastic a fine mix of crispy and chewy with a nice sweetness and cinnamon flavor , service was very friendly and I loved the decor simple but you knew you were gonna get some good food . I'm writing this review in hopes the owner reads it. 1. It's cash only and when we went the ATM wasn't working. 2. Women behind the counter barely speak English and got my order wrong. 3. There were items sitting under a hot lamp which is not a good sign for a 'authentic Mexican cuisine' 4. There was a man sitting on this laptop behind the counter, also had ear buds and seemed like he was conducting business instead of tending to the customers. He could clearly see I was struggling to communicate with the staff but he couldn't be bothered. To make it even worse...the food was mediocre. With all this said...I want to owner to take this business more seriously because I guarantee this place won't last another year if they don't make changes. read more

The chicken street tacos were delicious and my husband really enjoyed his chicken burrito. Substantial amount of food at a fair price. They are cash only now but will be taking a card soon. I stopped here randomly today when I took wrong turn. I stumbled upon this place and was starving. Didn't check the reviews, only read them after I felt compelled to leave one because the food was so good. I don't know where these other reviewers ate but it couldn't have been here. I got the flautas (admittedly those are hard to mess up) and they were delicious! The filling my was seasoned perfectly and wasn't dry. They gave you tons of crema, lettuce, avocado, and tomato. The red hot sauce is amazing. I used to live and work in Fort Worth, which is basically a suburb of Mexico, and I haven't had Mexican food this delicious since I lived there. When I went in no one knew I speak Spanish, and they all greeted and spoke to me in English when I spoke English first. As I was waiting for my food, a man came in and said (in Spanish) "this is the best Birria I've had! It's just like from Mexico." Now I can't wait to try the birria! If you want a quesadilla with cheese and sour cream, go to TGI Fridays. If you want authentic Mexican, this is the place! Regrettably, I didn't take a photo! read more
