I got a chance to give this new spot a try! When I arrived I parked in their lot. I walked into a small cozy spot. I was greeted and I ordered: Bistec a la Mexicana Camarones Rancheros Chicken Birria Tres Leches I loved the food and the shrimp was my favorite! Also that dessert was yummy! All in all an good experience!

Hands down some of the most authentic Mexican food I've had in my area. The birria tacos were incredibly juicy and flavorful, and the consommé was rich and perfectly seasoned. I'll be dreaming about these tacos until my next visit. The elote was perfectly cooked and slathered in creamy mayo, tangy lime, and salty cotija cheese for the ultimate flavor explosion." Horchata was delicious, sweet and refreshing. Minimal seating, so it's best for take-out, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to try more of their food.

I have stopped by this shop twice, ordering the same birria tacos order. Both times I received this warm, meat and cheese filled tacos, with different sauces to dip into. It's very messy for me at least with the taco fillings maybe falling out as they give you more than enough to fill the soft shell tortilla. It's the kind of food that takes you out of the game. Filling but it gets me relaxed or lazy. It hits the spot just right if that is the experience you are looking for.

I have been seeing this tacos place for a couple of months and tried it today! I got a take out order! The staff was so nice and greeted me right away and handed me a menu. I got an order of the street tacos Al pastor and an order of birria tacos. Both come with three tacos and were DELICIOUS. I will definitely be returning for more. The tacos were stuffed with meat so it definitely was fulfilling and worth the price.

The birria tacos and beans and rice are AMAZING. I'm so happy I've found an authentic Mexican restaurant in the area and will be a regular from now on. I'm looking forward to trying their pozole next! They make everything fresh and you can tell by the quality. I called ahead to place a takeout order. There is not a lot of seating available, so keep that in mind. The restaurant was clean and tidy inside, and the staff were kind.

A relatively new Mexican spot that replaced the burger shack previously located here. I've visited a couple of times so far and appreciate the consistent quality of the food. There's a Mexican restaurant closer to where I live, but I drive a bit farther to come here instead. Of the items I've ordered, the birria tacos and chicken burrito are my favorites.

Such massive portions and great food! The sauces are delicious. They have fresh juices. Loved the elote and steak quesadillas. Many burrito and taco options. They also have ample parking which is a plus.

Fish tacos , they were amazing !!

Ordered a quesadilla it was terrible. The chicken was dry. No sour cream offered barely any cheese. I would not recommend.

A Steakhouse With History, Character & One Seriously Good Steak!…read more We recently visited Strickland's Steakhouse in Woodbridge, and now I completely understand why this place has earned accolades in both 2024 and 2025! From the moment you walk in, it's clear this isn't your typical steakhouse. Strickland's is located inside the former Woodbridge National Bank, and the restaurant has done an amazing job preserving that old-bank feel while turning it into a sophisticated dining experience. The décor is fantastic, with plenty of memorabilia and nods to the building's past--including some fun pieces highlighting the era of old-time bank robbers. There's something interesting to look at everywhere you turn. The main level features a full bar with plenty of seating, including booths if you prefer a more casual dining experience. But make your way upstairs because the second level is something special. There's plenty of room for larger gatherings, while still having an intimate feel that would be perfect for a date night or special dinner. Let's Talk About the Bread Service! We started with the Bread Service, and honestly, had I known what was involved, I would have taken a video! This is more than just someone dropping a basket of bread on your table. The server actually prepares and smokes the specialty house butter right at your table. Talk about dinner and a show! You can customize the butter with different ingredients, including brown butter, bourbon, and sea salt. The presentation alone makes this worth trying, but the butter was also absolutely delicious. The Star of the Show For our entrée, we went with the Elite Prime Dry-Aged Filet Mignon, an incredibly tender 8-ounce cut served with truffle shiitake butter. WOW. The filet was cooked beautifully and incredibly flavorful, and that truffle shiitake butter took it to another level. Tender, rich, and absolutely mouthwatering. This is the kind of steak you take your time eating because you don't want it to end! Sides We ordered two sides to share: Bourbon-Glazed Brussels Sprouts -- with diced bacon and Parmesan. The bourbon glaze added a nice touch of sweetness, while the bacon and Parmesan brought plenty of savory flavor. Creamed Corn -- with crispy chorizo, chives, and panko. Creamy, flavorful, and definitely not your ordinary creamed corn. The crispy chorizo added a fantastic little kick and texture. Dessert Of course, we had to save room for dessert! We finished with the House Bread Pudding, served warm and topped with ice cream. Warm bread pudding + cold ice cream is a combination that never disappoints. It was the perfect way to end an already fantastic dinner. Shout-Out to Henrique! A big Kudos to our server, Henrique! He was fantastic from beginning to end--super friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were spot-on, and the way he described each dish made you want to order practically everything on the menu! Great service can make an excellent meal even better, and Henrique definitely helped make our experience memorable. Final Thoughts Strickland's Steakhouse is more than just a place to grab a steak. The historic setting, unique décor, creative presentations, quality food, and excellent service all come together to make this a really fun dining experience. Whether you're looking for a great date-night destination, a place to celebrate a special occasion, or somewhere to meet up with friends, Strickland's is definitely worth checking out. And now I understand those accolades from 2024 and 2025--they're well deserved! Great steak. Great atmosphere. Great presentation. Great service. Highly recommend Strickland's Steakhouse if you're in the Woodbridge area!

If you're a fan of Hugo's, you'll absolutely love Caído de el Cielo. The décor is Soo cute, creating a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. While the restaurant doesn't have a liquor license (though you can likely bring your own), they serve a delicious chicha morada, refreshing lemonade, a variety of Peruvian sodas, and your typical American soft drinks. From the moment you walk in, the welcoming staff and excellent service set the tone for a great dining experience. The portions are generous, too! We kicked off our meal with the "Trio Causa," a traditional layered potato dish seasoned with ají amarillo and lime, filled with chicken, tuna, and seafood, topped with pickled onions. It was super yummy! For the main course, we had the Arroz Chaufa, a seafood stir-fry rice dish that stole the show. This dish is loaded with seafood- crab, large shrimp, mussels, and calamari, enough to easily share among 2-3 people. We also tried the Lomo Saltado, and wow! The sauce was incredible, and the steak was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. Parking can be a bit tricky since it's street parking, but don't let that deter you from experiencing this wonderful place. If you love Peruvian food as much as I do, you won't want to miss it!

We came as walk-ins on a Saturday night and were able to get a table for two right away. They offer your traditional Colombian cuisine along with a full bar and bakery. The digital menus provide descriptions in English and have photos of every item, so don't worry if you can't speak Spanish. The atmosphere is incredibly lively, so it's perfect for celebrations. They have a DJ that pumps out some great Latin tunes! You can tell everyone (including the servers) are having a great time. Definitely not the place for an intimate conversation, so come earlier if you want to avoid a lot of noise. We ordered... *Pechuga A La Colombiana $18.95 - My entrée was grilled chicken breast topped with creamy mushroom sauce and maduros (sweet plantains). It came with the option of two sides, so I chose tostones (fried plantains) and arroz blanco (white rice). First of all, the portion size was HUGE... enough to be split into two meals!!! The chicken was seasoned with cumin, scallions, onion, and more. The tenderness of the chicken and the richness of the sauce paired so well together. The tostones were deep fried to perfection with a crispy and salty exterior. The white rice was fluffy and cooked with oil, salt, and garlic, which complemented the entire meal. *Bistec A Caballo $17.95 - A hearty dish! This was grilled steak topped with fried eggs, served in hogao (tomato and onion sauce). The steak was juicy, tender, and well marinated in a blend of spices. The hogao sauce was tangy, savory, and rich. We also got a side of frijoles (beans), which were really good. *Frozen Mango Margarita ~$15 - The drink was sweet and refreshing as expected, but the tequila was weak. It could've used another shot.... Or two. Noches has won me over with their great prices and generous portion sizes! It's now my go-to spot when I'm craving a satisfying Colombian meal.
