    Shrimp Ceviche, 3 Taco Combo
    Leslie H.

We had Taco Nazo catered for our company beach day from their truck and OMG! Soooo good!! It was so much food. We had a three taco plate with a side of refreshing ceviche, perfect for a sunny day out at Newport Dunes. The ceviche was fresh and chips were thick and didn't break apart easily, which is always the worst. I got 2 fish tacos (as these were recommended) and a carne asada which is typically my favorite. The fish taco.. definitely the winner. The tacos were huge and the fish taco perfectly battered. Watermelon Agua Fresca was yummy too! Service was pretty quick considering the number of people they were serving. I can't wait to visit again at one of their brick and mortar stores.

Amazing customer service! Elvis (a wonderful ambassador for Taco Nazo!) immediately greeted us, walked us through the menu board; Blanca (going by the name on the receipt) cheerfully greeted and served us generous samples of ALL of their agua frescas! Hubby is a huge fan of agua fresca (he loves their watermelon flavor and is also a fan of their crushed ice -- that he's returned just for this beverage!); I've never been excited about agua fresca, however, I now have an appreciation for the beverage. They pride themselves on making it themselves, using fresh fruits with no added sweeteners. We ordered the following: - 2 Taco Combo ($14.25, comes with Rice, Beans, Chips & Salsa, Chile Guerito, Lime) -- World Famous Fish Taco ($4.49 a la carte): generous plank of fish, however too heavily battered for my preference (light-&-crunchy exterior for the first bites, but became thick-&-soggy at the bottom and final bites); -- World Famous Shrimp Taco ($4.49 a la carte): tasty, however more battered than my preference; -- Al Pastor Taco ($4.49 a la carte): ordered based on a high referral from a friend, we didn't care for all the flavors (would prefer simpler style e.g., steak -- or carnitas, if given the option) - Chips & Salsa: thick, warm, crispy, & tasty chips; salsa was flavorful, with a mild amount of spiciness - Pineapple Agua Fresca ($4.25): light, refreshing, and appreciatively not too sweet; - Watermelon Agua Fresca ($4.25): hubby's favorite! His description: flavorful and sweet, refreshing, with true watermelon flavors (not artificial). Casual, counter-service restaurant with ample parking and indoor seating options (with comfortable air-conditioning!). I'm amazed at some people's lack of courtesy and consideration; this is clearly a counter-service restaurant; my thoughts are that people should bus their own tables, helping to keep the flow moving for the next guests. I'm interested in returning to experience more of their menu items.

Absolutely delicious, the tacos here are amazing. The fish taco especially was worth the far drive. For sure I would come back

I love that Taco Nazo opened a spot out in OC! This is my favorite spot to get fish tacos and I used to always go to the Baldwin park or La puente location. They also have a drive thru, so it's perfect for convenience. 3 Taco Combo (Rating: 5/5, ~$18): it comes with 3 tacos of your choice, 2 sides (bean/rice), chips/salsa, drink or agua fresca. TONS OF FOOD and I personally ordered a fish, shrimp, and potato taco. It definitely hit the spot and satisfied my craving. The horchata was also AMAZING. Ceviche (Rating: 3/5, $10): such a small serving and kind of annoyed they didn't add it to the meal price for $6.50 as it states in the menu. It was not as memorable and such a small cup of ceviche for the price. So that is why I knocked off a star Overall, I will definitely be coming back!! $32 for the combo and a small ceviche

This place specializes in fish tacos. Fish tacos (5/5): Portions are huge and super delicious. The batter is coated perfectly and crispy. The flavor of the white sauce is also amazing. Horchata (5/5): Very sweet and flavorful. Can't be any better! Definitely one of the best fish taco places I've been to

If you are looking for the best Ensenada style fish tacos, look no further! Taco Nazo has the best fish and shrimp tacos. They have been around since 1978, and have several locations in LA. I was overjoyed when they opened up their first OC location in Santa Ana. I usually frequent their Bellflower location. This is so much more convenient for me... and dangerous I usually get the 2 TACO COMBO, which comes with beans and rice $14.25 and if I'm hungry, I'll do the shrimp cocktail add-on for only $6.50. Such a good deal! The beans and rice are perfectly made. The shrimp cocktail is so juicy and flavorful. Don't get carne asada here- it is very dry and does not have flavor. All combos come with a chile guerito, a yellow pepper fried and seasoned with lemon pepper. I also get their CEVICHE MIXTO- 4. 5 stars, which includes fish, shrimp, octopus, and imitation crab. It's $11 for a small and $21 for a medium. The medium is a pretty big portion size and 2 people can share it. It is very fresh. I have probably been here at least 4 or 5 times in the last six months! Service is excellent and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They work very fast even during their peak times. The restaurant is clean and there is plenty of seating. The staff even come and collect your plates. Happy eating! Yelp Review #51- 2026

Ok..I'm not a huge Mexican foodie, but my first encounter with Taco Nazo (at their Bellflower location) turned me into a believer & a fan!!! Since our family's first experience with Taco Nazo was so memorable, we decided to return on a Saturday afternoon to their Santa Ana location, which was a lil closer to home. My hubs seriously couldn't stop talking about it for days afterward, so we HAD to come back to satisfy those cravings. Located in the McFadden Center just off the 55 freeway, this Tazo Nazo location isn't quite as spacious as its Bellflower counterpart, but it has a cozy, welcoming feel & drive-thru. You order at the counter, grab a number, find a table, and your food is brought right to you. Learning from our last visit, we made sure not to over-order & "eat with our eyes." Lol I once again opt'd for the 2-taco combo. This time I ordered their world-famous fish taco and an asada taco (instead of my fav al pastor). The combo came with rice, beans, chips, salsa, and a drink or agua fresca (with unlimited refills!!!). I LOVE agua frescas, so choosing the pineapple flavor was an easy decision. It was incredibly refreshing & delicious. The hubs and I also shared a small shrimp ceviche ($9.99), which was a generous portion. To round out our family meal ~ the hubs ordered the 2-taco combo (1 fish & 1 asada taco), my son went with the 2-taco combo (1 al pastor & 1 asada taco), and my daughter enjoyed the asada burrito. Let's just say..it was A LOT of food! While we all left full, happy, and completely satisfied once again..we all agreed that the Tazo Nazo Bellflower location was still our favorite ~ both in vibe, food quality, and service. That said, we'll definitely be back. A total RxFoodie recommend!

We were really excited to try Taco Nazo after seeing raving reviews on yelp and TikTok, but we were disappointed unfortunately. We went for a late night snack around 9. We got the 2 taco combo and chose the fish tacos. It came with rice, beans, chips and a drink. We are glad we went with 2 just to try it out. The fish tacos which is what everyone raves about we're just okay. They weren't crunchy and they didn't have much flavor at all. They also only gave us one lime, maybe more limes would have helped with the flavor. Now the rice and beans, both were a great pair with the chips BUT they definitely skimmed us on the rice. As you can see in the picture, they didn't even fill it halfway. That was so disappointing. Overall the quality was okay and we probably won't make out of our way to returning.

My wife and I finally had the opportunity to try Taco Nazo's infamous fish taco and other popular menu items. When we arrived at 1700 hours, this place was already crowded. We looked at the menu with so many tempting choices. While waiting to order, a gentleman named Kevin, asked us if we knew what we wewre going to order and if we were repeat customers. We advised Kevin we were first timers, and he thanked us for our patronage. He also made a personal recommendation for the shrimp ceviche as being his favorite menu item. We thanked for his suggestion and I decided to ad that to our order. My wife ordered a 2 taco combo ($14.25) (two fish tacos, rice, beans, a chile gueritos and some chips and salsa. I ordered the 3 taco combo ($18.75) consisting of 1 fish, 1 shrimp and 1 chicken taco, rice, beans, 1 chile gueritos and chips and salsa. I also ordered a small shrimp ceviche ($9.99). We ordered two large sodas that was priced as an upgrade from the regular sized soda that is included with the combo plates. Total pre-tip was $43.99. After paying, our friendly cashier handed us a number to place on our table which luckily, there was an empty table for us to eat at. The shrimp ceviche (small) came out first from the kitchen in just a couple of minutes after we sat down. My wife and I really enjoyed this ceviche. Kevin, TY for the recommendation!! The shrimp was fresh tasting with the proper texture, not smelly and/or mushy. The flavors of the ceviche was bright and tasty. Yeah, next time, we are ordering the large size. Our combo plates soon arrived. My wife was so happy with her fish taco. She normally does not eat pico de gallo because many times there is way too much onions mixed in. Here, she was so happy with Taco Nazo's pico de gallo! For her, it was the perfect amount of onions. She also enjoyed her fish tacos as well. I tried the chicken taco first. I was so glad the chicken cubes were not dried out but moist and very flavorful. I tried the fish taco next. Wow, my wife was right. The fired fish was lightly battered, well seasoned and not oily at all. Combined with the crema, shredded cabbage and other goodies, the fish taco was both of our favorites. I liked the fried shrimp taco too, not oily, lightly battered, properly seasoned but I really liked the fish and chicken. I want to try the asada taco next time to see if what some reviewers are saying about the asada being too dry. The rice and beans were good as well. My wife and I were also very impressed with the level of customer service that every worker at this location demonstrated (my wife thought they are better than Chick Fil A personnel): everyone was so friendly and helpful and made us first timers feel so welcomed. We will definitely become steady Taco Nazo customers whenver we are in the area of one of their locations. Maybe they will one day consider the Temecula or Corona area as another location site.

My family has supported this business for years. I remember back in the early 1990s when my mom and I would go to their location in Chino. I do remember hearing that the family that owned this business had to split it in half and some locations kept the name Taco Nazo and others rebranded as Señor Baja. No matter which location I went to, the food always remained consistent and affordable. I was so happy to see this new location, which is a lot closer to me ever since I moved. I can still feel the hospitality at this new location. The food is made with love and I always feel valued. I will say that the cost of the tacos are higher just like the cost of everything. However, they are not skipping out on any of the quality or portions. I ordered three fish tacos and a small shrimp cocktail. I remember back when the chilies used to be free at the salsa bar. I guess I'm spoiled. But now the chilies come with a charge. Everything was great. I loved my fish tacos, and my shrimp cocktail.

Ok, I can't say much for the establishment, but the food was great. It has been a few months but thought I ought to share. To start a friend's wife went to pick up from here and I know I keep hearing great things. I was not disappointed and will definitely like to go in and try more of their dishes. Enjoy

The best thing was what they're known for; the fish taco. Everything else was just okay, and I'd probably just stick to the fish tacos in the future. I tried the small shrimp cocktail, by upgrading my meal. My son ordered the 3 pack tacos dorados, but didn't really care for them too much. The shrimp cocktail was nice, but could have used some more citrus, and less sweetness. Service was lackluster, and saw someone going around tables asking how things were, but avoided our table. It gets packed, so go on off hour times.

I was psyched to see Taco Nazo open in Santa Ana. I rarely order fish tacos because a lot of places have an overly thick batter and not much fish. Not so at Taco Nazo! The fish has a very thin coating that is nice and crisp, giving way to the soft fish inside. The tacos ($4.49 each) come with tomato, onions, cabbage, cilantro and dressing. I also tried their shrimp taco, which is even more flavorful. Between the two, it's hard to say which I liked better. My husband got a shrimp burrito ($13.25) that was a good size, which he said was worth the drive. Staff really go above and beyond here. The dining room was full but they help you find a place to sit and quickly clean the table (which will most likely be dirty because the tacos are so loaded that stuff falls all over the place when you take a bite). They have bottles of Tapatio and another hot sauce and will give you a large bottle of salsa verde as well. This location even has a drive thru! I'll be back!

Thanks to Restaurant Week, we stumbled upon this gem, and we are so grateful. The hospitality alone would earn five stars. But then came the food. The tacos? Absolutely exceptional. The steak was tender and flavorful in a way that reminded me of eating throughout Mexico, you could actually taste the meat. A light, gentle pickle of vegetables on top, minimal cheese, nothing heavy or greasy. These are not the American-style tacos drowning in a pound of melted cheese. These are the real thing. The beans were lovely, the rice was solid, and my passion fruit winearita drink was genuinely a treat. Restaurant Week gave us the perfect low-pressure reason to try somewhere new, and we walked out with a new favorite. We'll be back for lunch. We'll be back for dinner. And yes, Taco Tuesday, we'll absolutely be back for that.

To make matters worse, one of our meals was completely forgotten. The service was extremely slow throughout the entire visit. Every time we needed something, whether it was a refill, an update, or assistance, the wait felt excessive. The restaurant may have potential because the food itself was flavorful, but it seemed like they were either understaffed or unprepared for the number of customers they had. Another disappointment was the drink selection. We were told they don't have a liquor license, so hard alcohol isn't available. Their sodas were canned, and when we asked for juice for the kids, they told us they were completely out. As for the atmosphere, the restaurant is on the smaller side and felt more like a converted house than a traditional restaurant, complete with a fireplace and television in the dining area. The food had good flavor, which is the only reason I'm giving more than one star. Unfortunately, the long wait times, missing meal, lack of drink options, and poor service made the overall experience disappointing.

I used to LOVE coming to this place... until I realized their customer service seriously sucked…read more First off, the food is honestly a little on the salty side, but I kept coming back because I liked the place. Then this happened. I brought my family here for dinner, and when we were closing out the check, the server failed to mention that gratuity was automatically added for a party of 6. I didn't realize it until I was about to sign and saw that I was about to leave ANOTHER tip on top of the automatic gratuity. I was like, oh HELL NO, I'm not tipping $80+ So I asked the server to refund the entire transaction and rerun the payment correctly. She told me she couldn't do that, but said she could refund the extra tip instead. I said okay, trusting that she knew what she was doing. We left. Fast forward about 4-6 months later. I come back with different family members, and the MANAGER comes over and tells me I have an outstanding balance of around $150. At first I genuinely thought he was joking. Nope. Apparently, when the server was supposed to refund the extra tip, she accidentally refunded the ENTIRE BILL and kept the tip. ‍ Now explain to me HOW that was my problem?! I specifically told her I wanted the entire transaction refunded so we could start over, and SHE chose to handle it differently. That was THEIR mistake, not mine. And the worst part? Instead of pulling me aside privately and explaining what happened, the manager brought this up IN FRONT OF THE FAMILY I WAS WITH. So now I'm sitting there being told I owe $150+ in front of my guests because of an error THEIR employee made months earlier. Talk about embarrassing. Thank God I'm in a position where I could afford to pay it, so I paid the outstanding amount AND my new bill that day -- over $300 out of pocket -- just to resolve the whole situation. I paid everything they said I owed for both visits, and I have never gone back since. And I WILL NEVER go back. Between the salty-ass food and the customer service, I'll take my money somewhere else. Just sharing my TRUE experience because I think customers deserve to know what happened.
