I ordered two fish tacos and one asada taco. I liked the fish taco more than the asada, but it was still not that good. The fish was very crispy and tasted okay. Definitely not the best fish taco I've ever had. There was no option to sub for flour tortilla. I wasn't a fan of the chips and salsa. The chips were really hard and the salsa was kind of sweet which I didn't like. The music was also too loud which made it hard to enjoy the atmosphere. Disappointed with my experience here. I was psyched to see Taco Nazo open in Santa Ana. I rarely order fish tacos because a lot of places have an overly thick batter and not much fish. Not so at Taco Nazo! The fish has a very thin coating that is nice and crisp, giving way to the soft fish inside. The tacos ($4.49 each) come with tomato, onions, cabbage, cilantro and dressing. I also tried their shrimp taco, which is even more flavorful. Between the two, it's hard to say which I liked better. My husband got a shrimp burrito ($13.25) that was a good size, which he said was worth the drive. Staff really go above and beyond here. The dining room was full but they help you find a place to sit and quickly clean the table (which will most likely be dirty because the tacos are so loaded that stuff falls all over the place when you take a bite). They have bottles of Tapatio and another hot sauce and will give you a large bottle of salsa verde as well. This location even has a drive thru! I'll be back! read more

Solid fish taco spot! The portions are huge but I also think the cabbage is just an illusion lol. A bit too much cabbage for my liking. I wish it had more of that mayo aioli. Hands down, the best fish tacos in OC! As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by the team. One of the members asked if we had been before and offered to give us a run through of the menu. We recently visited Taco Nazo in Anaheim, and while our overall experience was good, the food left us a bit disappointed. The servers were extremely friendly, helpful, and provided great customer service throughout our visit. That said, the food seemed to lack the flavor I've come to expect from Taco Nazo. I've been to the Bellflower location several times, and the food there has always been much more flavorful and satisfying. At around $5 a taco, its a great value. I was full off of 1! Its fresh with a perfect fry, crispy, golden, and light batter without being overly greasy. Finally, the fish taco king comes to Orange County! Long awaited, this restaurant fully lives up to the expectations of its franchise! We went on a weekday evening and of course, got the fish taco offering. To our surprise, the line was relatively short and our food came out relatively quickly. For reference, the other locations generally have quite a long wait to be seated and served even with larger seating space. Here, there's ample seating to seat ~80 people. Personally, I was concerned that the food quality was going to be subpar based on the short wait time. I was glad to find out that my fears were unwarranted. I was craving a fish burrito and they're know for their fish tacos! So here I am. I've went to the location in Bellflower but it's been a hot minute and they brought it down to Santa Ana! I was reading reviews and they mentioned their fish burrito isn't as crispy and the rice and beans threw them off so I asked for rice and beans on the side and I thought the burrito was yummy! LOVE LOVE LOVE that Taco Nazo opened a new location in Santa Ana. This new location has a drive through attached, an easy parking lot with plenty of parking, and spacious seating. Upon coming in, staff are super welcoming. Almost a little too overbearing sense though. It seems like they want to give every single customer a lot of attention, but there is some downside when they block the line by having lengthy conversations with an indecisive customer, and it wastes my time when I'm ready to order at the cashier. I ordered their Combo #1 ($18.75) that comes with any 3 tacos, rice, beans, chips, salsa, chile gueritas, and a regular drink. I upgraded the drink to a Horchata (Additional $1.25). They gave me a number to take to any available table. There was also a lot of staff in the dining area cleaning the tables quickly and chatting with the guests. Once again, there is friendliness and then there is a disturbance. If I'm wearing headphones watching something on my phone, I'm not trying to have a long conversation with a stranger at a place that isn't even a sit down restaurant. Hospitality is fine but this was a smidge too much. As for the food, I LOVE THE FOOD. I just want the food and be left alone. Maybe next time I should just go through the drive through or order togo. Their fish tacos are the bomb, and their potato taco is so unique. I also got the al pastor since it's usually one of my favorites but I wouldn't say it's a specialty here. Main parking lot is small and crowded due to popularity, it includes a few spots for "to go" orders and handicap. Overflow lot is only separated by a drive way, short walk and free lot. Price to portion size is fair, food quality is good. Seafood dishes are better than carne asada or al pastor. We tried shrimp taco, grilled fish taco, asada and al pastor as well as mixed seafood ceviche. We were pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the small ceviche. Just wow. I ordered take out and I made the right choice to have this for dinner a few weeks ago. The burrito: awesome. I ordered the Asada Burrito and it was amazing. The tortilla wrap was toasted, but the main asada meat was what really sold me. It worked in tandem with the rice, and it wasn't too spicy or too mild! It had all the necessary seasonings and more. I also ordered the shrimp tacos and I understand why they're world-famous. The shrimp was battered, which was a nice surprise considering it was my first time trying their food. I am in HEAVEN! I used to go to the Taco Nazo on Valley Blvd and the sometimes the one in La Puente before I moved to Orange County in 2001. Last night I was searching for somewhere to eat lunch that wasn't too far from the airport because my cousin and I would be having lunch together before I drooped her off for her flight home. When I saw Taco Nazo in Santa Ana listed on Yelp I almost started crying! We pulled up around 1:30 and the place was packed--definitely a good sign. I went to wash my hands first and noticed how clean the restroom was--another good sign. I ordered the 2 taco combo with shrimp tacos. My cousin ordered the 2 taco combo with 1 fish and 1 al pastor tacos plus a small shrimp cocktail to share. The tables inside were all clean. One of the workers was helping take care of the seating area and was checking on/chatting with customers. I loved this. Our food came out in a reasonable time and OMG that first bite of my shrimp taco just took me back to some great memories. It was DELICIOUS!!! The shrimp cocktail was also SO DELICIOUS!!! They had 2 friendly girls taking orders to save time. The tacos are good size. Okay I have to be honest, I tried this place in Long Beach a while ago probably 5 years ago and wasn't very impressed. My husband loved it but I just thought it was a typical taco place. Fast forward to present day, they opened up a new Orange County location in Santa Ana which was only a mile away from our hotel so my husband had to have it. This location is relatively new. I think it's only been open for a few months maybe weeks. When we got there it was packed and we had to wait for a bigger table. Fortunately there is a good amount of workers busing tables so it didn't take very long. The line moved relatively slow in my opinion even with two cashiers. On to the food, i ordered the mix ceviche and the asada burrito while my family ordered the family taco meal. I did enjoy the ceviche. I feel like the sauce was absorbed well with the other protein except for the squid. I really like how refreshing it tasted. For the burrito it was very good season very well. What I also liked which some people might not like is that it was a good size. It was big enough for me but wasn't humongous to the point where everything just fell out of the burrito while you were eating. Well wrapped. I think the best thing about this place is that their staff is amazing. They are quick to help they are quick to bring you anything that you might be missing or that you need like napkins or to go boxes. This newest Taco Nazo location just opened a couple weeks into the new year. The lines were crazy every time I passed, and even now at 11:30am there were lots of people eating inside and ordering. My To Go order was ready quick though. There's also a drive-thru to make pick up easy. Their fish tacos are fried, big, and soooo gooood! Their other meat tacos, like chicken are on the small side. The salsa is also good, along with the chips. And the horchata is perfect! You can create an account on their website and order ahead, although it didn't let me today.
