"Cold Inside, but the Breakfast Tacos Were Fire" 01-17-2026 I visited this place late Saturday morning while I was out shopping, and it was a really nice experience overall. Customer service was excellent. Delfino waited on me and was super attentive, checking in to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. He was down-to-earth, welcoming, and made the visit feel easy and friendly. The interior décor is rustic and a little bucolic (in a good way). It adds to the Mexican authenticity and makes it feel like you're in Mexico, grabbing food at a local corner taco shop. They were also playing Tejano tunes to add an even more authentic vibe to the atmosphere. The only downside was that it was very cold inside, which made things a bit uncomfortable. I'm guessing it was from the doors constantly opening as customers came and went, letting that crisp air rush in. Even so, the atmosphere still felt inviting, almost like home, because of the service and overall vibe. Thankfully, the food more than made up for the chill. I had two A La Mexicana breakfast tacos, and they were delicious and packed with flavor. On top of that, I washed it all down with an ice-cold Topo Chico beverage, which was really good to my soul. They also have three sauces to choose from: red, green, and orange. All of them were good, but one was seriously spicy (which I loved). I just can't remember which one it was. Every time I come there my tacos are wrong. Today I decide to come back and try again. Of course my taco is wrong , I don't find out until I get home. I call the manager He asks for a picture , I send it. I ordered A beef fajita taco with cheese onion and lettuce. I get a fajita taco with eggs which i'm allergic to eggs. He calls me back and asks to send another picture after i've thrown the taco out. You can see the eggs in the picture! Instead of making it right , he argues and says he needs more proof! I come here every morning for one of their amazing burritos and it never gets old, the food is full of flavor and the portions are large and fill me up each time. The service here is amazing and the kind owners always have smiles on their faces, as well always treat me and my friends with care. I feel very welcome here and it feels like home. I've been wanting try this place for a while to get some breakfast tacos. I got 5 egg, potato, bacon, and cheese tacos. They were 2.99 each :/ but they were pretty good. They guy working the register was very amiable and we enjoy small talk while my food was being prepared. The tacos were pretty fat, the restaurant was clean and had a nice cozy atmosphere. Out of the way spot so look for the sign at the street. They do have a drive up window but there is no drive thru menu so you need to look it up online ahead of time or call in your order and pick it up at the window. I usually know what I want to order and pull up and order it. Tacos are fresh and taste great. Marinated just right. Good selection of meats. I have had the carne asada and al pastor street tacos. The corn tortillas are delicious and super fresh. Service is standard and prices are reasonable with good portion sizes. I recommend this place if you are in the area. read more

Taco Plus has my favorite breakfast tacos in the area, that & their verde salsa are superior. I feel like it's become pretty pricy. If you order before noon & use cash you're able to get a more affordable price. I usually get the Taco Plus breakfast tacos with a delicious limonada! They are very kind & welcoming! This place is great. This is a genuine classic mom & pop taqueria. I got a burrito for lunch and it was HUGE and delicious. The owner was outstandingly personable and friendly. I can already tell that this is somewhere that you can rely on for delicious and FILLING Mexican food. I will 100% be making this a regular lunch stop - you should too. I called to complain about my credit card being overcharge (tip was added without my consent). The owner ended up fixing it after I called to complain. I called days later to place a order for me and my co worker and no one answered the phone. I called from work and he picked up the phone right away. He then told me that they were busy and if I placed a order it would take 20-30 min. I then begin to let him know how the service I was receiving was unacceptable and he Hung Up in my face. The food is great but the service is horrible, also it's 5 dollar each taco and I have brought my co workers to patronize his business. The tacos were a very good size and were really good. The prices are reasonable. The chips and salsa and coffee were also good. We left paying 22 for breakfast. We ate at Juanita's this past Sunday and it was 43 and it was not as good. It's a really simple establishment but I go to a restaurant for the food not necessarily the fancy building. read more

So sorry for no food pictures. I was so hungry I ate it. But let me describe it it's about a three egg four piece of bacon ham sausage lots of cheese breakfast burrito. Really really good taste like something you'd make at home. They make all their tortillas every morning. And their green salsa is really spicy but so good. Really recommend this place. They do have a drive-through but no speaker so you have to wait your turn till you hit the window or call it in and wait in drive-through. Definitely worth checking out read more

This review is based on my morning breakfast taco runs: The restaurant is very clean, the woman at the counter is very friendly, and the food is always well prepared. I grew up in a Mexican household, so I know what good quality, AUTHENTIC Mexican food tastes like, and this is the closest you'll get to that in Cypress. What really sets this place apart from other establishments (for me) is their handmade tortillas, and food cleanliness. By food cleanliness I mean you won't get a plate full of unappetizing grease. I went on a search for the best breakfast tacos in the northwest region of Houston (outside of the loop), and this is my number one choice. As someone mentioned in a previous post, the prices are a bit on the upper range when compared to other Mexican restaurants, but for the reasons I mentioned above, it is well worth it. I will say, the nachos are also spectacular! I believe the fajita nachos are probably my favorite item there. Stopped by because I was in the mood for something different for lunch and decided a torta sounded good to me. Finally decided to give these guys a try and had a great lunch. Soft bread, nicely seasoned meat, beans and cheese and avocado were awesome and their green sauce is amazing, nice and creamy and spicy, no complaints to be had. The staff was great, friendly and helpful, the place was clean and the music wasn't over the top and loud at all. Seems like a great place to come have lunch with friends and family. Prices seem right all around, will definitely be back around if I'm in the mood for Mexican food and I'm in the area. This is one of, if not the BEST, Mexican restaurants in Houston. The food is absolutely amazing! I found this play one week for lunch and I probably now eat here 6-7 times a month. The owners are some of the absolutely nicest souls and always take care of their customers. I tend to always get the Mariachi plate (3 tacos, rice, beans) and that dish is my favorite (especially the rice...OMG...it's so good...I usually get an extra side of it...it's THAT good).
